We had a wonderful stay at this charming house. The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, offering both a quiet retreat after hours of traveling Tokio and easy access to nearby attractions via Tram/Metro.
Everything was as it was described on the website but the stairs are very narrow and spiraling and would need to watch with little kids and elderly. Having the shower on the bottom floor and the toilet on the second floor was a little inconvenient when the bedrooms were on the top floor especially to use the bathroom during the middle of the night.
The house has 3 floors with a shower on the first, along with a bedroom. The rest 2 bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. The stairs are curved and narrow. It is new but feels small for a group of 5. The neighborhood is quiet, and the location is great. A few things we feel that the host can improve for a better stay: A few more nightstands can be helpful. Better pillows, please! Instructions on how to reset the electrical breaker, just in case(we hit it on the arrival day when inside was like an oven). More than one house key. Clean the AC dust filter(There was almost no air coming out of the AC wall units until I removed a layer of dust from the filter. This happened on 3 of the 4 units in the house.) so we can survive the hot and steamy Tokyo summer.
Nice place to stay - there’s a Yamato Transport office around the corner so if you’re coming from a hotel, you can still use luggage forwarding to the office which is very convenient.
A very nice and comfortable place for a family of four. It is near the main station and lots of restaurants and marketplaces. The house is super clean, and the host is very responsive when I have a question or need help getting around. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. We loved our stay!
The owner quickly responded to the few questions we had about this very conveniently situated house in a quiet neighbourhood. Our stay was very nice, would definitely come back.
The house is in a good location within 10 mins walking distance to train station, shops and restaurants. Beds was comfortable for 5 adults.
The host Anan replies quite promptly to what ever questions that we have. There is a washing machine but no proper dryer. Also the 3 bins provided was overflowing from previous guests that was not removed. It is not the owner’s fault. But make it difficult for us to sorted out the rubbish when we stayed for 7 nights..
Location was perfect! Convenient to trains, food and shopping. We loved how every night when we got off at Kinshicho Station, we just looked up and followed the beautiful Tokyo Skytree back home. You can’t really tell how big the home is by the photos, but we were pleasantly surprised by this spacious and roomy 3-floor apartment.
Amazing host! Prompt replies to any questions we had. From the moment we booked our stay, Yanan was helping us with local food and sight suggestions.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
It was a great location, but not clean. Hair was everywhere , and dust. Also, the house had the minimum necessities, but no body wash, limited silverware, no laundry detergent, etc.
A great place for our family to base out of for our recent trip to Japan. The Kinshicho Station is just a few minutes walk and the host provided directions with pictures. We needed some translation help to operate the air conditioners and they also had a guide for that. The area around the home is very quiet and sleep was great. Several intimate restaurants are nearby and we enjoyed them. We would definitely consider to stay here again if we return to the Tokyo area.
Although the location of this unit was excellent, the VRBO is the most ill equipped VRBOs we have every stayed in. As well the narrow and steep staircase were very difficult to handle suitcases in. Although the listing claims it is equipped with a washer and dryer, it is equipped with a washer but the drying room/bathroom is extremely ineffective.
We chose this property for it's location which was great for where we needed to go. It is located in a quiet neighborhood but also only a 6 min walk to the station and all the restaurants and malls.
The house was a bit small. The stairway is very narrow which makes moving suitcases difficult. sharing one toilet with 4 adults is not ideal but manageable. When we arrived it was extremely hot and humid in Japan which may have been the reason for bed sheets and towels smelling. The spares are stored in a storage outside in the car port. We had to wash and dry everything at the coind laundry. There was dust and trash underneath one of the beds. we contacted the owner who was very apologetic and offered to have the cleaners come the next morning. We declined because we had a newborn with us and we were exhausted. My phone charger was also damaged because one of the AC units dripped water directly on it. The owner reimbursed me for a new charger. Also when we arrived we noticed there were rental electric scooters in the car port. This was not mentioned in the listing and we needed the car port as we had friends and family who visited us by car during our stay. Coming and leaving home to see random people pick up or drop off these scooters makes for awkward run ins. The owner had the electric scooters removed for the duration of our stay. Overall the communication with the owner was great.
Our trip overall was good.
