This place was awesome and worked out perfect. Sitting in the spa under the stars was amazing. The house had everything we needed and David was attentive and accommodating. Thank you.
Had a great time with the family while staying at the cabin. There were a lot of us staying, but everyone had plenty of room would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed the large open spaces. This house is not fancy. That is what we loved best about it. Wish we could have stayed longer. There are a few things that are in need of fixing. The carpet is stained in a few places. This is someone's home that they have loved and have shared with us. We are grateful. Thank you for letting us stay. We will definitely be back.

Tons of space for a big group.
The house had tons of sleeping space, bathrooms, and hang-out space. A great wrap-around porch to enjoy the pines. We were 8 adults and felt totally comfortable in the house. The communication for arrival and departure was clear and personable. We're already planning our trip for next year.

Dated but felt like Home
This was our 1st annual family reunion with our kids and grandkids - big enough to handle our crew of 14, and the grandkids loved it. Nestled in the pine trees, and even saw a bear! We plan on going back next year for round two. Owners are great to work with, and had everything needed to enjoy a week away from the rat race.

Fantastic
What a wonderful experience. This was our first experience using VRBO and we will continue using this service. This home is clean bright and lots of room for all of us. We totally enjoyed the large pine trees and the wrap around porch. Our family from the oldest to the youngest really enjoyed our time t the Big Bear Cabin. The owners were very friendly and answer any of our questions promptly. We will stay here again.

Loved it
I spent most of my summers growing up in the white mountains, so we're always looking for ways to visit from Texas. We loved the charm and quirks of the cabin. Its very close to the best parts of Pinetop, and we had a blast at Sunrise skiing.

Great place to stay
We just spent four days at this cabin. We had 14 people there and there was so much room for all of us. It was great as it snowed over the weekend we were there. The cabin had all of the essentials that were needed

A great thanksgiving
My family and I would like to thank mr K for letting us enjoy a memorable thanksgiving in his cabin. The only thing we could complain about is there was no snow. My family had a great time and enjoyed some quality time together.

Roomy
Lots of room and great when you have a group all preparing for a wedding! Four full bathrooms is a bonus! A little dated, but comfortable. If you like your bed very firm, they are great.

Big Bear Was Awesome!
If you need to house a large family in a great location, Big Bear Cabin will work for you. We loved using the large wrap around porch for morning coffee and to wait out those beautiful summer rainstorms. We loved the short drives needed to shop, hike, or play golf. We totally enjoyed talking to the neighbors as well. Everything worked as advertised and we lacked for nothing. Even what we considered to be a small luxury item for our stay was added with a simple phone call to Dave. Can't thank you enough for a wonderful two weeks!

Good but not great.
The house all in all was fine. However it was overrated in my opinion. The upstairs window unit stopped working the night we arrived, the upstairs bathtub was incredibly slow to drain, the ceiling fan in the main room didn't work, the toilet seat in one of the upstairs bathrooms was broken, and other small things we found were disappointing. There were basically only two rooms in the house which were cool enough to be in especially later in the day when it was warmest outside.
We enjoyed the woods and many trails close by and in general, Pinetop was nice.
Dave was very responsive to emails leading up to our stay and I appreciated his communication. However, for the price of the rental, I would have hoped/expected it to be in better condition and a more comfortable stay.

Jonathan, very sorry for those things being missed and thanks for letting us know. My cleaning crew took care of the drain and the ac unit just needed the filter cleaned. Will get the fan and the toilet seat fixed asap. Yes, the house gets a little warm in June before the monsoon's kick in, it is the only time of the year that it gets too warm up there. As far as value is concerned I believe we are the lowest cost for a 4 bedroom in the Pinetop Area on VRBO.

Great weekend out of the heat
We come to this area every July and have rented a few different places, this is our favorite so far. It may need a little updating, but this was a great location with plenty of room for our group of 12. Having four bathrooms was especially helpful, we never ran out of hot water, and the window AC units in the upstairs rooms were a nice addition. David was quick to respond when we couldn't get the lockbox open (operator error). Beds are a bit on the firm side (which we know is a matter of personal preference, can't please everyone when it comes to beds), we are glad we bring our memoryfoam topppers when we travel by car. We will definitley be booking again!

Nice location with lots of room
We had a mini family vacation over the 4th of July weekend. We had 6 adults and 8 young children. We loved being so close to the forest, both out front and in the back yard, but easy to get to. The best thing was how much space there was - plenty of bedding and bathrooms for everyone. The house could use a little upgrading, but it worked fine for us. We did have some Wifi issues, but David was willing to work with us regarding this. Owners were very responsive to requests and concerns.

We love the White Mountains and all the outdoor activities it has to offer, hiking, kayaking, fishing, snow skiing, sledding, golf, frisbee golf, or just enjoying the cool mountain air.
Why they chose this property
We love the calmness of the forest around us and that the house is located close to all the outdoor activities the White Mountains has to offer as well as it is convienently located to shops, resturants and entertainment.
What makes this property unique
Our place is well suited for families. Big enough to comfortable sleep 10. Big dinning table, fire place, hot tub, and pool table, Great back yard that backs into forest land. Enough for everyone to hang out and relax.
