About this property
Classy downtown condo
Bright & beautiful 1 bedroom downtown condo with full bath, laundry & kitchen. 20 mins on Trax from the SLC airport. Easy walk to Temple Square, Salt Palace Convention Center, City Creek Mall and Vivint SmartHome Arena. Professionally cleaned every time. A cozy, peaceful, great downtown spot!
There is a coffeemaker and a microwave in the kitchen. The living area includes a TV with Netflix, YouTube TV and Disney+, DVD player and misc movies. High-speed wireless internet is included. The bathroom comes stocked with blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face soap and clean towels. You will also find detergent and dryer sheets on top of the washing machine if you need to do some laundry!
Guests have access to the whole condo. There is one secured parking space, and a short walk to public transportation (Trax and bus line). Temple Square and City Creek mall are within walking distance 2 blocks away. The condo is very close to I-15 with easy access to ski resorts in less than 40 minutes (such as Park City or Cottonwood Canyon).
There is a Smartlock on the door, so you can check in at your convenience! The code is changed between each guest, so you can trust you will be safe and secure during your stay.
Generally speaking this is a very popular space with around 100% occupancy, so check in is after 3pm and check out is before 11am in order for the cleaners to prepare for the next guest. But if you need to check in earlier or check out later please contact me and we can work something out!
I love this place! It's in a fantastic, charming Salt Lake City neighborhood. Right at the edge of downtown, it feels quiet and peaceful while still being close to the energy of the city.
Five minute walk to downtown Salt Lake City. One block from the BLUE & GREEN Trax line- the closest stop is the Temple Square Station.
The Green Trax line takes about 20 minutes and is very easy to maneuver. It's a few dollars for a one-way, direct trip from the Airport to the condo.
Salt Lake City is a pretty conservative town and the other tenants are sensitive to the smell of smoke in or near the building. If you would like to smoke I would just ask that you do so farther away than you normally might. The Maverick next door is a great option- they have outdoor benches and it's a great spot for people watching!

This was such a great place to stay! Right near downtown SLC, we were able to walk a lot of places which I enjoyed. The owner was very responsive and considerate and overall the place was clean and kept. We will be coming back!!
I was in SLC for a convention! This place was perfect for me! Walking distance, clean, comfy, and so cute!! This is where I will stay from now on!!

SLC stay
The property was mostly clean and presented well. Easy entry. This would be fine for a younger person, but it is next door to a gas station and it was very noisy. This is an older building, very cool by the way, however the walls are thin and I could hear the neighbors until about 4:30am.

Bad and unsettling Neighborhood and VERY LOUD
Although this property itself was clean and in solid shape, It is located directly next to a maverick gas station and convenience center which is incredibly loud and draws some very unsavory characters. While I was there, there was a police arrest of a very loud and obnoxious person in the morning and one of the other mornings I suffered through a woman screaming about another homeless man who was going to pour coffee on her. The sound from the delivery trucks and garbage pickup in the very early morning were also very challenging. Unless you are a very very deep sleeper this would be a tough place to stay.

This review breaks my heart, and I usually don’t do this but I feel compelled to reply in this case.
This guest seems unhappy with Salt Lake City’s downtown metropolitan area, and left a review for the homeless instead of the quality of the condo and of the host.
And I think his review of the area is unfair. Several guests have appreciated having a convenience store next door. Although I am sorry there was trouble outside during his stay, there's nothing I can do when things happen next door. That’s just part of living in a big city!
I’m particularly stung that he didn’t mention how hard I tried to accommodate his needs. This guest asked lots of questions, all of which could have been answered by reading the messages I had sent already. When he asked for more hangers for his pants (a first for me) I dropped everything to have them delivered - and he still gave me a 2 star review. Simply breaks my heart to be treated that way.
The apartment was perfect for our stay. It had everything we would need. The location was perfect in the downtown area. The apartment was clean and has a washer and dryer which was great for our week stay! Maren is an awesome host and was quick to respond to anything I needed or had questions about! Definately will be staying here if I return to SLC.
If you are coming to Salt Lake City to use the Family History Library, this is the place for you! Walking distance (about 1/4 mile), load up on groceries, and binge watch Apple TV at night on the most comfortable couch. A smidge on the noisy side due to outside traffic and Maverick store, but earplugs will do the trick. I will stay again!

Nice enough but not classy
This would have been alot nicer if it got a deep cleaning and wall repair. The kitchen and bathtub faucets were loose. No access to the back door which made it really a pain to go to and from the parking. The view is not wonderful because it is mostly of the Maverik station and overhang of the fuel pumps.

Not as expected
The apartment had a certain charm but was poorly maintained. Two shades were broken. One faced the street. The other the gas station next door. It created privacy issues. The host emailed some important changes to us as we were driving from Colorado, when we could not have chosen another place to stay.
This condo is small, but comfortable for two. There is a little yard space in front of the building for dogs. We enjoyed walking around the area to see the sights. Restaurants were also within a comfortable walking distance.
The condo was in the perfect location for what we needed. Within walking distance to downtown and easy freeway access. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer available and secure parking. Maren was very responsive when we needed her.

Beautiful but not the one I rented....
I rented an apartment that was supposed to have easy access from secured parking. I appreciated the secured parking and have a broken leg, so the easy access was important. Instead, things had recently changed so access from the parking to the back of the building is no longer an option, plus we were given another apt in the building that was directly next to a gas station. There was noise all night. After a 12 hour drive from the fires in Oregon, with another 12 hour day of driving ahead of us, we unfortunately got very little sleep. There was confusion trying to get into the apt as I had instructions for the other apt. The owner was readily available and helpful and the next day acknowledged the switch. The apt we were given is very nice, but I specifically wanted easy access and quiet.
Comfortable and cozy place in a great location. Easy access to freeways and downtown. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the unit was very quiet. Excellent communication with the owner and she got back to us immediately with a question we had. Covered parking was a bonus. Highly recommended.

We loved that we could walk all over the downtown area because of the convenience of the location. What we didn't like was the advertised nightly price was not the actual cost due to lots of fees tacked on, the second entrance is no longer available which posed an inconvenience with parking the vehicle and loading/unloading of baggage.
The check-in instructions were the best I have ever received. The owner left nothing to chance and even included photos with the check-in instructions. The purpose of our visit was the Family Search Library, and the condo was 1-1/2 blocks from there. We didn't need to use our car at all, as everything (Temple Square, Downtown) was within walking distance. My only suggestion would be to add room darkening window treatments in the living room and dining room, as it is very bright in there at night when sleeping on the cot.

Close to downtown activities
We have stayed here 4 times over 3 years. It is very handy to Salt Palace, Family History Library and anything downtown. There is off-street parking in a gated carpark in the rear. Nothing fancy but is comfortable.

Perfect location. Cozy apartment.
Loved the proximity to Temple Square. Safe, cozy and perfect for two friends reuniting for the weekend. You can see the Temple out the windows. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and the bed is soft. Owner is easily accessible and helpful and friendly. Would def stay here again!

Visiting SLC and staying in this very convenient and cozy site was a real treat. Ms. Snow was gracious throughout our reservations and any issues we had. Comfortable, bright, with all amenities. Hopefully, we can visit again!
