Willkommen to our romantic B&B in the Texas Wine Country.
Embedded in a nice garden setting, the four cottages Rapunzel, Rumpelstilzchen, Schneewittchen and Aschenputtel are reminders of old Germanic dwellings from the early middle ages. Each cottage has a cozy living room, a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and another bedroom in the loft. You can relax at the pond, feed the goldfish and listen to the frogs chanting to the sound of the waterfall. Sip a glass of wine on the small patio in front of the cottages or on the big patio next to the main house. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit in the back of the property by the creek or in the gorgeous fireplace at the big patio. If you are restless or hungry, a 10 minute drive carries you to Fredericksburg with all it's shopping and activities. With 15 wineries within a three miles radius this is the perfect starting point for your wine tour. Upon returning you'll realize, you are close enough to Luckenbach to hear their concerts. And you can look forward to a rich, hearty German breakfast every morning served by the German innkeepers. You'll love this enchanting B&B, but you will not be able to remember it's terrible name Rarumpelpunzeldornaschenwittchen … One Queen bed in bedroom 1, one Queen bed in bedroom 2 (loft)

The Schneewittchen cottage is absolutely charming. We loved all of the special touches that made our stay comfortable. A lot of thought and love goes into creating this space and it shows! Thank you Henry and Barbara. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay and we will be telling all of our friends!
I booked this property for a girls trip and it was amazing! The hosts are great and they provide so much info, breakfast, and wine! There was two different fire pits on property as well as many hammocks and areas to relax. It was truly a magical layout. Would highly recommend!
So cute, we even got to see baby ducks. The location was perfect. Right between downtown and the winery we wanted to visit. And Henry is an absolute treasure.
We were in for just one day/night on a quick trip to pick up our daughter from camp and our wine allocations. The property is very close to the wineries which was perfect for us. The house is cute and very unique, perfect for a short visit. The host delivers breakfast to your porch in the morning which we enjoyed. The only issue we ran into was the hot water heater was finicky and the shower wouldn't stay at a constant warmth. I am sure it is just a setting that we weren't comfortable messing with. Overall fun, quick trip!
Some perfect things can only be described as textbook, this perfection can only be described as storybook. My boyfriend and I were looking for a single night getaway with our pup and found peace in the Sneewittchen Cottage. From first entry you are blown away by how cute and fairytale the cottage looks that it was easy to almost miss the lovely complimentary bottle of wine the owners had left us. The morning was started off with a lovely healthy and balanced breakfast left at our doorstep, and then it was time to pack up and head out. I will definitely be looking to these cottages for any future stays in Fredericksburg. The property is adorable and the cottages are precious, by far one of my favorite finds to date.

German Cottage Stay
The cottage and atmosphere were lovely! The only gripe we had with our stay was the fact that the VRBO listing was not accurate in the sense that we had no idea we had to pay for guests more than just the two of us, even though the cottage slept 4 comfortably (it was me and my husband and a friend). We were then charged 35 extra per night for the 3rd person. VRBO also said the place was dog friendly, which we found out it wasn’t after arriving. Luckily, the host was very accommodating and understanding. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and we would recommend to anyone! We just wish the listing was accurate.
