This is my third time to this rental and it keeps getting better and better, would recommend it to families looking to spend quality time in the mountains.

This property not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. Clean, ample space, and with all the amenities needed for a stay. Picturesque views with friendly neighbors, and quiet after 10pm. Great communication. Will definitely rebook again and highly recommend this property .

Cozy cabin close to town
The cabin was exactly as the pictures depicted. It was well stocked and extremely clean. Plenty of games, everything you could possibly need for the kitchen, and grill tools as well. The separate cottage allowed for privacy and was close to parking without any steps. We are already planning to rent this lovely home again.
Absolutely a wonderful home away from home. This cabin will be our go to cabin when we go to Ruidoso. Brian was was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Thank you Rafael! I hope you come stay with us again when you visit Ruidoso again.
This place is amazing! Such a cute property that is obviously loved and cared for! They have thought of everything you might need; we have stayed at other properties and have learned to bring our own things like toilet paper, hand soap and spices…totally unnecessary for this place! Property manager was very easy to communicate with, but we did not have any problems at all. Beds are SUPER comfortable, and everything

Thank you for the kind words! We want the cabin to be as nice as possible and we really appreciate it.
We enjoyed the cabin. We plan to return. Great secluded spot. All the amenities you could want. Hot tub was so awesome we are planning on purchasing one! David was awesome. We did have an issue with door code not working. But eventually David returned our call and gave us a workaround code.

I’m really glad you enjoyed the cabin. We’d love to have you back anytime!
We highly enjoyed our stay here. The property is tidy, clean, beautifully decorated, well appointed, and has great views, all conveniently located to downtown Ruidoso. The owners have also provided so many thoughtful touches down to relaxing aromatics for the hot tub. The owners were also quick to respond to questions/issues.
The only negative of this property was the unfortunate septic system smell both indoor and out. The owners have put air fresheners in every room in attempt to help. Despite this I’d stay here again due to all the other positives.
The house was amazing
Beautiful scenery
Warmly decorated fir Christmas
Managed to have everything we forgot...spices, shampoo, Ziploc bags, foil, etc. so nice to not have to run back out to the store.
Wonderfully centrally located
Loved the hot tub
Excellent guide to the house functions, house rules, check in, and check out process
Provided games and a local guide book
Comfortable beds
Everything was clean with no weird smells
They paid attention to every need and detail.
We were grateful for the opportunity to stay.
The cabin was so incredibly cozy and gorgeously decorated and designed. It was clean and exactly as pictured and described. The kitchen was perfect to prep meals, the living area and bedrooms were super comfy, and the bathrooms were wonderful and spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. At night, we enjoyed star gazing on the deck and watching all the wildlife pass by during the day. It’s in a prime location close to downtown area shops and restaurants and a short/scenic hour away from White Sands National Park. The hosts were great at communicating, very responsive. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for letting us stay in your cabin. We had a wonderful time!

We are really glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for the thoughtful review.
They let us check in early which was very accommodating! The front door keypad was a bit tricky but easy once you found the numbers on the digital keypad. I wished the hot tub had been heated prior to our arrival because it took a day to heat up. Smoker was not maintained properly so we had to clean the bottom portion of the smoker & the ash tray on it because it was so compacted with old pellet ash. Firepit looked super nice, but it is propane and you have to provide your own propane so we did not use it. Lots of cool amenities, just not advertised very well and a little misleading for a planned trip. But overall beautiful property, super easy checkout, beautiful & peaceful views with beautiful wildlife, And great communication!

From the Owner: "Thank you for your feedback. We agree that the electric BBQ grill, while originally intended to benefit guests, proved to be more trouble than it was worth. We're happy to share that a new propane grill is now available on the property.Although our renters’ manual notes that propane is not provided for the fire pit, we recognize it would be helpful to make that clear in the property listing as well. We'll be updating the listing information to reflect that.Regarding the hot tub, please note that it is kept warm at all times for guest convenience. I’m happy to provide the maintenance report, which includes the water temperature recorded at the time of service."
We had sewer smell throughout the house. It was real bad in the rest rooms. The master bath was a joke. An addition on to the house and felt like it was going to fall off every time I went to the toilet. No heat in the master bath. The rest of the facility was impeccable.

Sewer smells are sometimes worse with a septic system. Sorry about your other troubles…
We were very excited for this cabin. The photos are super cute and the cabin lived up to that... I would say décor is a 10 but contractor who clearly remolded this old place is a 4, the remodel was done very shotty and cheap. The entire cabin and 2nd studio cabin stink. The main cabin smells like cat pee and the studio smells like old musty wet towels. The owner clearly knows this as there is room spray in every room. It doesn't help. I really loved the cabin but the smell was horrible and hard to put up with. The hot tub was also smelly... there clearly weren't enough chemicals in it as the water was kinda yellow and it smelled bad. It was just a trip of bad smells and we tried to stay out of the cabin for this reason. I loved the kitchen, layout and everything else about this place but that darn smell was awful. I wouldn't ever rent this place again and I hope the owner can get rid of the smell.

Sorry you felt that way about our cabin. We try to keep lines of communication open at all times and feel your concerns would have been addressed if you would have let us know. The cabin was built almost 80 years ago, has a septic system, and is located in a damp forest full of wildlife so we keep plug in deodorizers in most of the rooms. We feel the quaint charm of the place is what we are most proud of and the fact it isn’t perfect only adds to it’s appeal.
The cabin was unique in design & very clean. Fire Pit was Amazing & private. Art work and lighting was awesome. Beds we’re comfortable 3 bathrooms handy. Loved the coded locking system we 3 lady’s felt safe and secure.
The property was beautiful and perfectly located within half a mile from town. The views from the bedroom and patio were so beautiful, it was difficult staying inside. The owners were also very nice and accommodating.
