Mountain Mist | Game Room + Hot Tub & Access to Indoor Pool!
The whole family will love staying at Mountain Mist—and that includes your four-legged family members! The two-bedroom, pet-friendly log cabin is located in Hidden Springs Resort, less than five minutes from Dollywood. It’s also just a quick drive to so many other local attractions, including Dolly Parton's Stampede, the Titanic Museum, Gatlinburg Golf Course and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. What’s more, the resort has an indoor pool, so you can swim year-round, rain or shine.
As for the cabin itself, “delightful” is perhaps the best way to describe it. The great room, for instance, features a double-height wall of windows that lets you admire the lush woodlands outside even as you kick back on the sofa to watch TV or curl up in the armchair to surf the web via the free Wi-Fi. The sunlight streaming in shows off the wood-planked floors, walls and towering vaulted ceiling to perfection. And on cool winter nights, the stacked stone fireplace will warm up the room with a golden glow.
You can savor the views of the trees while savoring a meal at the log-style dining table, which seats six guests with room to spare. Sure, there are scores of restaurants nearby—Italian, barbecue, Mexican, Indian and of course, all-American comfort food. But especially after a day on the go, it can be more relaxing, and easier on the wallet, to eat in. Mountain Mist’s dining area is so charming, you’ll want to linger long after the meal is over. Bring your Monopoly board or Uno deck, and after the table’s been cleared, segue from a fun-filled family meal to a laugh-filled family game night. Another after-dinner option: head to the upstairs game room for a round of pool at the full-size billiard table.
Mountain Mist’s kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware and tableware you need to prepare breakfast or any other meal. There’s a grill outside as well, plus a kitchen island for extra counter space and a dishwasher to make cleaning up a cinch. And speaking of cleaning up, the cabin has its own washer and dryer. This might be the first time you return home from vacation with a suitcase full of clean clothes!
Each of Mountain Mist’s two spacious bedrooms has a king-size bed and a full bathroom, which will make getting ready in the morning hassle-free. If you have additional guests, they can sleep in the great room on the sleeper sofa that sleeps two.
The primary suite is especially luxurious. Next to the flat-panel TV is a fireplace—just the thing to create a romantic ambiance. And the en-suite bathroom includes a jetted tub. No matter how tired your muscles are after a day of hiking, fishing or chasing the kids around Dollywood, a leisurely soak among the tub’s massaging jets of water will rejuvenate them in no time.
You can also laze in the steamy bubbles of a hot tub out on the deck. The singing of chickadees in the morning and whip-poor-wills at night will make your soak even more relaxing. In addition to the hot tub, the deck has plenty of rocking chairs so that everyone can enjoy the fresh mountain breeze whispering through the trees. Nighttime is especially magical, with the star-filled sky and the sound of crickets and owls. Let the kids stay up late for a memory you’ll all cherish.
When you stay at Mountain Mist, you can be sure of creating plenty of memorable experiences—and isn’t that what a family vacation is all about? So book your stay today, and get ready for what might be your best vacation yet!
Please Note: The 2026 Annual Pool Closure will begin on January 7, 2026. Maintenance will be done during the months of January and February. Pool will reopen in early March 2026.*

We enjoyed our stay it was our first visit to pigeon Forge. Cabin was great. Although we didn’t spend much time at the cabin we did take time to enjoy the hot tub.
Mt mist was pretty however you could have taken the Christmas stuff down not just the tree. The location is nice, need to update the cooking supplies, the bed upstairs wasnt to comfortable the one downstairs was though. All in all the place was nice
Beautiful Christmas tree and decorations were up and the fireplace in the living area was very cozy! The only complaint I had was the couch in the living space was pullout into a bed and a spring popped out.
I have stayed in the HOA before. But this is the first time in this particular cabin. Clean cabin except for dog hair on the living room furniture.
We would enjoy staying again.

Thanks, so much for sharing your experience with us. We hope to see you again soon.
We had an issue with the door code that we had to call about. Showers were a bit small, but overall great property.

Cabin
Perfect location, roomy . Too much clutter, stuffed animals, silk flower arrangements that were dusty and was mostly Christmas decor. But the cabin was nice.

Although the unit was cluttered for your taste, we are happy you were able to enjoy your stay and do hope that you choose to stay with us again in the future.
Property was as described. Great location. Close enough to pigeon Forge but far enough away to have privacy. Loved the deck and hot tub. The only drawback were the showers. They were too small. My husband is 6'4 and had no room to move around. Other than that it was perfect!
Great week of family time.
Pros- location is ideal close to everything but not in the hectic part of town. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for light cooking. Management company was very helpful and responsive.
Cons- The sofa and recliner are very worn out and need to be replaced. Not very comfortable. All the other furniture is wooden and not comfortable. The towels were very worn out. I suggest you bring your own. The showers are small and shower curtains in poor shape making it difficult to keep water in the shower stall.
Overall we had a great week but likely would not stay in this cabin again.

Disliked: Communication
Nice home in the hills
The property was beautiful. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered deck to eat and relax. The community pool was very nice. The hot tub was nice but it was too hot outside to use much. The pool table was unusable due to how close it was to the walls - they’d be better off converting to a full bedroom. The location was great - very close to Dollywood and Ripken. We were there for baseball and it was only a 15-20 minute drive to the fields, but far enough away from the crazy Pigeon Forge downtown that we felt like we were in the mountains. The road to the community passes right by the Dollywood entrance and we only had one day where we were affected by that traffic. Early morning baseball games helped avoid the Dollywood crowd. The property manager was in constant communication until we signed their contract, then they were radio silent. They sent us the code to unlock the house well in advance, but never sent the to gate code to get into the community. To their credit, they did have someone answering phones at 9pm on Saturday to give us the gate code, but it was frustrating after a long day of travel. FYI, there is no useable yard due to the hillside the house is built into (the satellite photo is deceiving), but it didn’t really affect our stay, just meant more walking up and down the hills when the dogs needed to go out.
Loved the location and general cabin vibe of the place. A couple of negatives are the extremely small showers, my children even complained about this, the large microwave on the counter doesn’t allow for much room for preparing food, pool table in the third bedroom is a complete waste, more than one wine glass would also have been nice (I don’t like to drink alone). That being said we really did enjoy our stay for all the positives which are the great location minutes from Dollywood, on-site parking, jacuzzi tub, hot tub and beautiful large windows in a lovely cabin.
The cabin is beautiful and spacious! I would stay again. That being said I believe it could use a little TLC. The Hot tub smelled like sewerage. The toilets were hard to flush but they do work. I did not go into the master bathroom but the upstairs bathroom shower is small.
The rental company was very nice. We did not mention any issues to them because we were out most of the time and didn’t want anyone there while we were out.
Cabin is extremely clean and well stocked. The hot tub was not operational which we should have been advised beforehand. Beds are very comfortable. Cupboards, closets and dressers are used for storage. There was no room for any food in kitchen cupboards. Closets full of 3 vacuums and fan so no way to hang clothes. Dressers were full of bedding and pillows. Nice to have extras but very inconvenient for a weeks stay. Showers are tiny. Lighting is poor in the evenings, no way to read s book with only two lamps with 60 watt bulbs. Nice to have clean deck with 6 rockers and two patio tables and chairs. Great having a half bath off living room. Outdoor grill was a plus. Resort is very convenient to all restaurants and shopping. Just a mile from Dollywood but very quiet.
The property was exactly as described and more. The amenities were beyond our expectations. We had a couple issues but mgmt handled it immediately and professionally. If we go back, we would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend them!!
