The house was perfect for four with each bedroom having en-suite bathrooms. It was very clean and all appliances are modern and worked well. Convenient location to Avalon shops, restaurants and boat docks.

Lovely home perfect distance to the waterfront. Close enough to walk, andfar enough away to be a bit quieter, too.

So glad you enjoyed the home and found the location to be the perfect balance, close enough to stroll to the waterfront but far enough for some peace and quiet. That's exactly the kind of spot we love sharing with guests. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience, it truly means a lot.

The house was fully stocked. Sand toys, beach chairs and a cooler. The kitchen was fully stocked. Check in was a breeze and Brian was very helpful. Very close to downtown, House was set back and very quiet all day. I a few board games would have been really nice.

It's great to hear you enjoyed the quiet setting while still being close to downtown. We'll keep your board games note in mind for future guests.

Fun trip! We had planned to sail over from Ventura and stay on the boat. Last minute pivot due to engine problems. So glad we didn’t have to cancel the trip with our son, visiting from out of town.

So glad the trip came together despite the last-minute pivot, and that you were still able to make it work for your son's visit! It sounds like a memorable trip overall, and we're happy the property could be part of that plan B.

Yep, like everyone else we had a great experience here. Beautiful property - very clean and well-stocked.I appreciated all the kitchen provisions - spices and things like that. Some things in the fridge were probably paid-forward by previous thoughtful guests, and we left some useful ingredients as well. I appreciated the BBQ grill in the back patio, which helped us avoid eating out too much.I appreciated the plethora of beach equipment, which helped us avoid rental costs. If only there was a golf cart included like some other rentals! But seriously: great property, great location, and great vibe. Will stay here again if/when we revisit the island. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful, clean & spacious condo! Perfect location just minutes from the beach and shops. It was a perfect place for our little family to come put our feet up after a long day on the island. The hosts were very communicative and gracious. Would absolutely recommend and looking forward to staying again next year!

This was an amazing home. Beautiful inside and out with an easy to get to location. The property owners were amazing and couldn't have been more kind to us. The home had more than enough space for the four of us as well. Our next trip to Catalina, we will be seeing if this home is available again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in a similar floor plan last year, but this house is 100% better.Other than some minor cleanliness issue upon arrival the trip was 100% success. (only reason for not 5 stars)Beds were comfortable, backyard was a hit, perfect for those evening dinners...or breakfasts :) Kitchen was fully stocked and had every dish, plate, cookware that we needed. More towels and linens than you'd need. And best of all, working washer and dryer, which was very helpful. We will be back for sure, thank you!

Good location, a bit dated inside

We found this location to be great for all downtown activities in Avalon. Tried to check in early, and owner said he would notify us when cleaning crew was done. Never got that call, despite them being done early. Found all the smoke detectors out of service and notified the owner (the "on island" point of contact) per his request in their pamphlet. Said he couldn't get to the repairs for several weeks as he wasn't on island. My sense is that for a safety item, something should have been done (there are craftsmen and a hardware store on island), but it wasn't. For this reason, we will not be staying in this unit again.

Hi Eric, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:- The home was fully renovated less than a year ago, and we take pride in offering modern and comfortable accommodations.- The cleaning was completed 20 minutes before your arrival. However, the floors were still wet, so an immediate entry would present a safety hazard. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused and will ensure better coordination in the future. - We apologize for the issue with the smoke detectors. Rest assured, we've promptly addressed this issue to ensure they are fully functional for the safety and peace of mind of our guests.Once again, thank you for your review. We hope your time spent in Avalon was enjoyable.
