A beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood! The apartment was spotless on arrival. We had everything we needed for a weekend away, and we always appreciate when we can bring our pup along! Big bonus points for the hot tub!

Our stay in Monique & Damen’s suite was great! It’s very comfortable, quiet & clean. They added nice additions such as coffee, tea, shampoo/conditioner & guide pamphlets for checking out the area. Monique was very kind in making sure we were comfortable and not in need of anything. Location is just outside St. John’s, it’s easy to navigate to all the sights. And…there is a hot tub right out the door to relax in after a long day of sightseeing! Will definitely return if ever in the area.

Cozy, quiet getaway

Property was immaculate. The atmosphere was welcoming as soon as the door opened. Monique was easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was enjoyable.

Beautiful and clean

The apartment was a beautiful and clean apartment in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood. Was exactly what I needed for a night in St. John’s doing some shopping. Once shopping was done got to enjoy the hot tub and relax watching Netflix.

This is a very nice little apartment in the lower level of the host's home. They went out of their way to be available but unobtrusive. The house is nearly new in a beautiful subdivision, and the apartment is very well designed. It's not large but has everything you need. The hot tub was perfect - I used it three times in a one-night stay. We took a tour of St. Johns, and the driver picked us up and dropped us off at the house. Otherwise, we drove to our destinations, so the off-street parking was nice. I think some people are reluctant to stay in private quarters inside someone's home. I'm not, and was not disappointed. It's like sharing the home, without the social obligations that come with a B&B. St. John's was much chillier and windier than I would have imagined, even in mid-June. Did I mention how nice the hot tub was?

Newfie Experience

I was surprised not shocked this was my first experience visiting Newfoundland: I’m a Bluenoser living in ON, the province is beautiful with so much history and diversity there’s a lot to see and do. Monique made my home away from home just as nice. The listing is as described with the added touches and Newfoundland charm.

The vrbo was clean and spacious for two people. It was a very nice area and 10 min. or so to downtown St. John's. The hosts were friendly and were quick to respond to messages.

The apartment is absolutely adorable and cozy and only a couple of minutes away from many stores for supplies. It's about 10 minutes to downtown St John's and 25 to Cape Spear. Amazing super helpful host. I'd definitely stay here again.
