New Bern Farm

Fantastic visit to New Bern and the farm at Antioch. The farmhouse was immaculate, and perfect for a long weekend stay. Close enough to everything in town, but still away from the hustle. We really enjoyed the animals too. We’ll be back, as this was a house-hunting trip for our daughter and they were successful! Highly recommended.

Highly recommend , this was our 2nd time staying here and it did not disappoint.House is very clean and decorated beautifully. All the small touches , fresh flowers, snacks, water bottles in the refrigerator and fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm are appreciated. Beds are super comfortable. Can't wait to come back next year.

This is one of the most enjoyable trips we have taken. The hosts were beyond hospitable and took the extra time to make the visit special. The farm was a highlight for our family and it would be the joy of any family with children. We felt like it was a temporary oasis of peace to escape the trials of this world and the busyness of life. Again not enough could be said for the hospitality of the hosts and their commitment to making this a delightful place to visit.

Great Setting

Loved the history of the home and the property. And feeding the goats! The house is convenient to New Bern, as well as Oriental and other towns. Wonderful outdoor spaces, too. We would definitely stay again!

Peaceful and Relaxing

We had the best time at this little farm house. My daughter and I spent four days in this beautiful property and loved every minute of our stay. The hosts went over and above to offer many things that other hosts don't offer. There were all kinds of additional items that made the stay extra special.

What a delightful find. The location of this farmhouse and surrounding property was perfect for our needs. Private and yet convenient access to a 10 minute drive to downtown New Bern. The furnishings were comfortable and well maintained. We didn’t’ want for anything. We will be returning for another visit in May.

Farm Stay

We chose the farm house in the country instead of any place in town. It was perfect for our plans. We were close to what we wanted to visit or see, but it was away from traffic, noise, and crowds. Our host was the best we have ever had. The goats were fun to feed, the chickens gave us some eggs, and Maggie, the owner's dog, was quite a character and so smart. We loved the house which was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Sleeping was easy with the great beds and covers. There was a really large shower in master with awesome water pressure---so refreshing. Plenty of outside areas to enjoy including firepit, rocking chairs, swing on porch, etc. Looking forward to next stay.
