About this property
The Beach Shack - Getaway on Sunshine Beach
Summary:
With a glorious Australian sense of understatement and charm, this striking Sunshine Beach retreat has been nicknamed The Beach Shack. Yet far from the humble dwelling of classic true blue lore, this home is the stuff of dreams – playing out against a glorious ocean canvas.
The Space:
Perched on the highest point of exclusive Sunshine Beach Esplanade, the architecturally designed property stretches out across four levels, all oriented to maximise natural light and the enticing interplay of indoor living and outdoor ambience.
Privacy is paramount, and has been cleverly integrated throughout the floorplan to enhance a sense of space and sophistication. Floor-to-ceiling glass washes the timber floors in warm sunlight, while splashes of colour elevate soothing expanses of white with ocean hues, tropical tones and touches of green.
Four bedrooms – including a bunkroom - spread out across the levels, allowing families and friends to gather, making use of the generous allocation of 3 car parks. With ultimate flexibility, the question then becomes not what to do, but how to fit it all in, with modern amenities including a pool table, bar area, alfresco barbecue, a secluded inground pool and beachfront decks that frame spectacular coastal views stretching to the horizon in all directions. Even the open gourmet kitchen is a step up from the everyday, with the ocean outlook providing all the inspiration needed to create, rather than just cook.
Upstairs, a simple yet inviting open-air deck on the roof provides a pleasant vantage point with scenic ocean views. It's a serene spot to relax and discuss the nearby adventures awaiting you.
For those with a passion for the natural world, opportunities to go exploring are myriad. Head into the lush environs of Noosa National Park with camera
at the ready, turn your hand to beachcombing, dive in for a swim at the patrolled beach or take your board for a surf.
After - or instead of – the action, head into welcoming Sunshine Beach Village for a coffee and chat, a spot of breakfast or a memorable meal at one of its highly regarded local eateries. Popular Hastings St is also just a 10-minute drive – but first, you have to drag yourself away from those glorious water views, which somehow seem to slow down time and encourage visitors to simply embrace the moment.
The joys of shack life indeed
