Anchor Lodge was an amazing place for a friend reunion! The house is super spacious while also being cozy, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, there’s a very nice grill outside that we used every day, eating outside on the deck was lovely, and we enjoyed using the lilypad and swimming in the lake! It was the perfect place for a relaxing lake weekend; we will be back!!

Absolutely wonderful getaway! We loved the view and the host(s) provided almost all those little things we needed and were looking for. General heads up: If anyone is bringing a toddler be ready to do a lot of chasing them around (standard gate won’t cut it for main level steps)…

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We appreciate your note about toddlers and the stairs—that’s great feedback for future guests. You were such great guests, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime! -Van FVR
Amazing property with cool history of main cabin, multiple renovations and addition of The Lodge with a spectacular view. Attention to detail was spot on, well appointed with everything you need and beautiful decorations. Loved Jeff’s playlist on the Sono’s. Our group was small but the huge deck was perfect for the entire family and entertaining. Only issue was with wasps on the 3rd level, including in the master bedroom. Slept with one eye open the first night until I found the wasp spray. However we made many memories and would rent again without hesitation. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin and lodge!!
