Welcome to 706 Bunting Ave in Fenwick Island—only one home from the beach! Enjoy an unbeatable location for your next vacation in this charming one-level beach house featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious wrap-around deck with lovely views of the Atlantic Ocean. The open floor plan includes sliding doors that invite ocean breezes and the sound of crashing waves. A well-stocked kitchen makes home-cooked meals easy, complemented by an indoor dining area and additional seating on the deck. The living room offers new furnishings and a flat-screen TV for comfortable relaxation. Bedrooms are thoughtfully situated at the back of the home, including a primary suite with an ensuite bathroom, plus two additional bedrooms served by a full hall bath.
Located in downtown Fenwick Island and just a few blocks from Ocean City, Maryland, this home places you steps away from both the beach and local attractions. Enjoy miniature golf, a water park, tax-free shopping, and a variety of restaurants and shops—all within walking distance. Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach are approximately 27 miles away, offering even more to explore during your stay.
A private driveway accommodates four to six vehicles, providing hassle-free parking. Amenities include a washer, dryer, Wi-Fi, cable TV, gas grill, outdoor shower, and an electronic keypad system for easy check-in and check-out. Please note that linens are not provided, though an optional rental package is available. No pets and no smoking are permitted. The home sits on stilts, and while the interior is one level, stairs are required to enter.

Kicking off summer

We returned for a second time at the same time and same place to celebrate the end of the school year with some beach fun. This house is ideal for a beach stay with younger children. Quiet yet close to everything. Hope to return next year!

Great Location

The location was great and quiet. The house had everything we needed. The main bedroom and bedroom with bunkbeds were comfortable - the room with one queen bed definitely was an old mattress. Overall a good stay, but the house isn't really cared for and has a lot of deferred maintenance items that are just small annoyances.

We had a blast!!

This was our first stay here and on Fenwick island. We had such a fantastic time! The house was homey and definitely lived in and loved and perfect for our young and large family. The beach access was amazing. We have 5 kids, 7 and under and it was easy getting to and from the beach. We loved the deck! We hung out there after the beach and shared dinners and lunches and built puzzles on the tables out there. It was our favorite spot after the beach and mini golf courses lol. We made some great memories and hope to be back next year!!

This is a wonderful residence! There was plenty of room for everyone and the deck was an additional bonus. We had our granddaughter and her friend for the second week, along with some other visiting family. We had a few hiccups at the start of our stay. We actually met the owner and his lovely wife, who were instrumental in taking care of the problems. The kitchen has all the basics, but no blender. An air fryer would be a nice addition also.Great location to the beach! Unfortunately, we had some rainy/misty weather, but that made for some great shopping days. The weather got better during the second week, which made the vacation end on a great note! Thanks for letting us stay at this spacious home. We hope to make it back next year!

Great location and perfect size

We were two couples and a two year old. House was perfect size for a small group and the location was great with a huge deck. The only commentary would be that after a day of traveling to get there, a starter roll of toilet paper, a garbage bag and a bit of dish soap would have been great. Instead we had to go right back out again. Then when we went to bbq that evening the grill was completely filthy and had no gas ... back out again ☹️

Review

Terrific location. The house fine. I was disappointed that the outdoor shower wasn’t clean enough to use. Also the owner came by before the storm to check in and move furniture which was nice. Unfortunately he didn’t touch base with us after the storm. We lost power for a good while and the outside light fixtures were broken from the storm. I cleaned up the debris from the deck. Also, when we arrived the door wasn’t locked. Again the location was terrific and the house fine.

Dangerously neglected

This property had a wide range of issues that infringed on neglegence on behalf of Remax and the property owner. The glass door of then oven was so old and rusted, it fell off almost seriously injuring myself and kids. Black mold in all of the shower heads. Nothing clean about the property by any stretch of the imagination. Lacking basic cooking tools. Filthy rugs and dust caking every visible vent. Overall, horrible. Management wasn’t nice either.

Great Get-Way

First impressions can speak volumes. This home exceeded our families expectations. We are a family of 7, yet we never felt crowded in this 3 bedroom home with a great layout. Situated in a wonderful quiet neighborhood, which at times the only sound in the morning was the ocean and families walking. Our only disappointment was the cleanliness when we arrived, which the rental managers addressed immediately for us. It was not untidy just needed some additional deep cleaning.

Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach and stores. Perfect with young children. The house was comfortable and the owner responsive when there was an issue. A wonderful way to enjoy time away after a year of not traveling!

Great location, nice property. The bed sizes are confusing - listing and agent referred to pyramid bunk vs twin over queen. Door to upstairs bath would not close fully. Main stair is slippery when wet - new paint perhaps?

Great Location

The house is one block from the beach. The view of the ocean from the huge deck was an unexpected surprise. Only wished the deck had an awning because it can be super hot for morning coffee. House had 2 grills, gas and charcoal. Thank you! Only thing missing was extra eminities like a beach umbrella or chairs. Beds were comfortable and there was room for everyone. Will be back.

Great place but few suggestions

Great location. Only thing I would improve are some basics ...Not one napkin or square of toilet paper in the aptmt...cleaning crew seems to remove even the partial or empty roll from all bathrooms. No beach chairs available ...there is a room with many and a window to see them but it is locked. Also cleaning crew arrived 20 mins prior to checkout ...I was finishing up anyway but would have been bothersome if I had needed the rest of the time.
