Welcome to Bunting & Bayard in Fenwick Island! Just one block from the beach, this modern and spacious home comfortably sleeps 11 guests across three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Recent 2021 updates include interior painting, new bathroom flooring, refreshed kitchen cabinets, and new countertops. Enjoy central AC on warm summer days or step outside onto the wrap-around deck to take in beautiful ocean views—perfect for sunbathing or relaxing with a drink. A second-floor balcony offers an additional private outdoor space. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, a toaster, microwave, and dishwasher, and a grill is available for outdoor meals. Two TVs, a DVD player, and free high-speed internet provide plenty of entertainment options. A full-sized washer and dryer are included for your convenience, along with an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Located on the 2nd ocean block in downtown Fenwick Island, this home offers ocean views and the ease of parking your car and walking everywhere all week. The private driveway accommodates up to six cars. Amenities include ceiling fans, a spacious deck with ocean views, an outdoor shower, and ample private parking. Please note that this home rents Saturday to Saturday during the summer season. Linens are not provided, but an optional rental package is available. The home sits on stilts, and guests will need to use steps to enter.

Labor Day vacation

The house is at an awesome location. A very short walk to the beach, ice cream store, candy store, and convenience store. Took a walk every morning or bike ride. There were 7 adults and 2 babies, plenty of room for us. Plenty of utensils, pots/pans, dishes in kitchen for us to grill dinner and cook breakfast.

Great location! Just one house between this rental and the beach! Spend all our days at the beach. Great food at walking distance. The covered parking spots are just amazing. However…things that could just take the whole experience to another level.. 1. The shower curtains in the 2nd flr bath were moldy - need to be changed 2. The drying mat in the kitchen along with the freezer in the fridge were very dirty. 3. The dustbins/trash cans in the kichen and Bathrooms had no garbage bags/liners. We got garbage liners but expectation is to have the trash cans already lined. 4. There is an outdoor shower at the stilts level…but access to the shower is too narrow and dark. Maybe a light or removal of a side would make it more accessible and less of a chore to get rid of the sand after the beach. Overall, very easy to take it to a 5 star stay!

Great Location

Great location, super close to the beach and local shops. Needs a little updating as there were multiple broken blinds/screens and deck doors that were difficult to open or off track. Window screens missing on top floor from kids room so that was slightly dangerous/concerning as we just had to leave windows closed and locked. Living room furniture and all bedding/mattress covers need a good cleaning (unlike a lot of rentals, the mattresses were not encased and def older)- we brought our own sheets, towels, blankets etc to use and washed all the mattress pads before using (did not use comforters or pillows) Wish there were hooks on all bedroom/bathroom doors for towels, suits etc (only small outdoor line under house, hard to get stuff dry). Upstairs bathroom door did not fully shut, not huge issue but problematic if sharing with others since 2 bedrooms upstairs. However, overall cleaner when we first arrived than other rentals we’ve been in locally. Kitchen and deck were great, would definitely rent the house again as you can’t beat the location/walkability factor for a smaller group. Off season TLC for little fixes would def make it a 5 star rental!

Great location and open spaces

Property is in a great location steps from the beach and you can hear the ocean waves from the large open deck! Does need lots of updating and kitchen island stools need replaced or thrown out because of stains. Overall great beach location and living and dinning room are spacious and have good seating!

Fun n Sun

This property is across the street from the beach entrance. It was easy on and easy off for my 82 year old mother in law. The deck was perfect for relaxing and evening meals with all the family. There was lots of parking and even a couple of bikes so we could invite other family members to join us on our bike rides. We all agreed that we would rent again in a heartbeat!

Location of the house and price is a five star, but there is a lot of delayed maintenance and a good portion of the furniture is pretty bad. The deck has nails coming up and loose boards. The exterior stairs are shaky (and the interior stairs lack a hand rail). The couch is a disaster. No one could really sit on it for long. The chairs in the living room a good. The dining tables are in great shape. The kitchen is roomy and has lots of equipment, but the one glass cutting board is awful. Bring a wooden one! Beds are squeaky and the mattress on the upstairs queen is brutally hard. We had to buy a foam pad in order to sleep on it. It really needs a good cleaning, too. All that said, the space was good for a large group, the location was FANTASTIC. The A/C worked great even on the hottest days of the year. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops. It was quiet and peacful during the week and still not really loud on the weekends. If the maintenance and furniture issues were fixed, we'd rent this house every year.

Great quiet location steps from the beach

Refurbished house with large wrap around porch is a great place to get away for a week with the family. The surf can easily be heard throughout the day. An upper level balcony gives great views of the lifeguard patrolled beach. Many restaurants and other vendors are within easy walking distance. The house has parking for at least 3 cars under the first floor. There is a constant flow of joggers and walkers in front of the house and wide bike lanes at the end of the block lead past the state park to Bethany Beach and beyond. Nothing really fancy inside but comfortable. The outside porch is an excellent place for a large crab fest with two large tables. I would definitely do it again.
