Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.

CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.

Rentals are not transferable to another party.

Great stay! The room was clean and spacious and the kitchen was really well stocked with all kinds of equipment and brand new condiments like olive oil, tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. You can indeed see a luau from the balcony and that was great as well. We hope to stay there again!

This condo exceeded our expectations! Room was clean and as advertised! The views from the lanai were amazing!! Not to mention our front row view of the fireworks on Friday night right outside the Ilikai!!We will definitely be looking to book this place again for future stays!

This room at the Ilikai was just as described and much nicer than the hotel rooms there. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed this property! We definitely recommend it for a couples getaway and would come back again!

This unit was extra clean and included everything you could want for your stay. We have stayed in many units in the Illikai and this was one of the best. Management company that manages the unit is excellent.

This was a great place to stay. The view was perfect, location was perfect, and there was plenty of room for our group of three. We really loved that the room had a divider to give my neice some privacy at night. I would definitely stay here again.

Great description of property. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place. Dave’s ice cream in Lobby is such a great extra! They had live music one night. A hula show and fireworks another.

It’s was a good stay! I was able to book last minute which saved our trip. Everything was as described. It’s really all that you need. Nothing fancy but also pretty clean and comfortable. The location is wonderfully central to a lot of things we had planned. And the manager was pretty easy to get in touch with! Overall really great experience

Cozy & Clean, Great Views

Great experience here! Very cozy room, bed was very comfortable and surprisingly even the pull-out bed was too. I really liked the decor and all the mirrors. The only things I had some trouble with was the balcony door was really hard to close and it was a little confusing opening the front door the first time...maybe you can include a picture in the check-in instructions for people like me 😂. Overall, I felt comfortable and I would definitely stay here again! 😊

Great experience

To begin the trip, the property managers were very accommodating. We arrived 3 hours before set check in and they let us check in right when we got there. The room was clean. The bed is very comfortable, the top sheet was a little scratchy but the down comforter was plenty warm enough. I saw on recent posts that people were complaining about the air conditioner. They must have replaced it because this air conditioner made no noise and worked well. I was very satisfied with the stay.

Amazing location but some issues

The location is absolutely amazing. Right on Waikiki Beach. We had perfect seats on the lanai for the Friday fireworks and easy access to the beach or lagoon. It’s a quieter setting for hotels. The pools always had open seating and were really relaxing. The room was clean and mostly as expected for the price range. I saw some reviews mention the air conditioner. It may had been recently updated because it worked, was quiet, and had the remote. Some things to note: the elevators are extremely slow. There is not enough for the amount of guests. We’d sometimes use the bathers elevator around the corner which was also slow but at least had enough room for us when it got there. The real bummer was the service. Midway through our trip the fire alarm started beeping that it needed maintenance. We called, left messages, and emails towards the end of the business day. Someone called us back after hours and said that they didn’t have anyone available and we should try to fix it ourselves and they’ll send someone the next day to fix it. They were totally okay with the fact that this was going to keep us up all night, was a life safety hazard, and their responsibility to take care of. We also reported the hotel staff told us to contact the owner and not tamper with it. We reset the alarm which would buy us a few hours of peace but it would start beeping again every few hours. No one came to fix it. We went the last two days of our trip with next to no sleep.

Choose a different condo at this location

The Ilikai hotel/condo was a great location for walking around Waikiki. However, we did have some issues with this condo: 1. The air conditioner was extremely loud. It was not a consistent white noise either and we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. This meant we had to keep the balcony door open, which means we could hear everything (loud guests echoing off the buildings). 2. The sheets were like sandpaper. 3. They described being able to see a show at the Hilton on Friday night from our balcony, but we did not have a view of it. The Ilikai hotel did have a show by their restaurant area that night, but that is on the opposite side of the hotel. 4. This is probably my biggest complaint, but the condo was not clean. With paying the cleaning fee, you would think it would be as clean as a hotel. I took pictures to upload, but can't find a place to upload them on my review. Lots of dust on the walls, furniture, shelving, fan, vents, etc. Some mold on the shower curtain. The kitchen sink had gunk near the drain. Also, there was a dead cockroach in the hallway light just outside of the condo. Overall, I was very disappointed in the cleanliness and would suggest they hire a more detailed cleaner. They did have 2 small beach chairs, one was missing a carrying strap. The cooler bag was a good size. They did provide beach and bath towels. The location was good, however, I would recommend staying at a different condo if you choose to stay at Ilikai.

Great location

Great location the Friday night fireworks was fabulous from our balcony. Short walk to beach and restaurants. They pools were not overcrowded. The condo is very dated but clean, has everything you would need. I would stay in this location again.
