This is a great vacation home for families. The upper portion of a modern triplex, it offers 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and approximately 1300 sq.ft. of living space. There are french doors leading to a large wrap around balcony with great ocean and hillside views. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and a 40-inch flat panel TV, and all three bedrooms have TVs. This property comes with the complimentary use of a 6 passenger golf cart. QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited). 300MAR | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

Charming place atop a hill....lots of space, and the 6 person golf cart was a game changer! Our family was there for a wedding and it worked out perfectly!

The location of the house and the use of the golf cart was great. Living room and the kitchen was big and great for gatherings and very comfortable. Overall, the house should have been cleaner. There was dust on several surfaces and hair on the carpeting that gathered when walking barefoot in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were very dated and in need of repair. We were afraid that the showered knob was going to fall off when in use. This could be a great property with updates to the bath and bedrooms and a bit more careful cleaning.

Great location with a wrap around porch that has a great view of the water. Bedrooms were great but the balcony was the highlight. Spacious living room as well. Would stay here again!

Fun family trip

We had a fun family trip on the Island. We love going to Catalina and exploring the Island and eating at the wonderful restaurants and shopping. This was a wonderful place to stay and we would love to stay again. The host was very easy to contact and it was very easy to access the property. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. Thanks for everything.

Wedding week

The view was great off the balcony. The house needs some definite love and cleaning and upgrading for the price we paid. The bedrooms were nice, the bathrooms needed work. We could have used more kitchen towels and bathroom towels.The golf cart was handy but difficult to manipulate.

Perfect spot for a catalina vacation

We had 4 adults and 2 kids ages 8 & 12. The place was in great shape, and the 6 person golf cart made getting around town a breeze. Big bonus points to the landlord for allowing an early check-in, we had a rough ferry ride over and half our group was not feeling well - so getting to check in early was HUGE for recovering and settling in. The kitchen was well stocked, working BBQ, solid wifi, tvs in every room, and the views from the balcony were excellent. Two thumbs up!

Great place for a family

Overall we enjoyed staying here for three nights. The balcony has such beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding hills. We loved opening up the 2 doors and sitting on the couch looking at the ocean. The tables outside to eat or sit with each other and chat and the chairs to layout & tan are perfect for the area. The beds were comfortable, the fans in the bedrooms came in handy. Common areas are set up very well, especially if you have a big family. We used the kitchen a lot for meals as well as the BBQ grill. The stove is brand new. The golf cart was an excellent inclusion! Some of my negatives: missing remote in bedroom with bunk beds, no laundry detergent provided, need more kitchen towels, need new kitchen sponge, VERY noisy next door neighbors. The bathrooms are older and need some updating. It didn’t bother us at all. Overall all a great stay and we plan to stay here again next summer!

The golf court is our only complaint. We were definitely great full for it but it takes a good 5-7 mins before it will start going and that was rather annoying.

Catalina stay on Mar

Overall ok, However, lack of basic amenities was disappointing We didn't have soap in both bathrooms and contact with host about some details of our visit was overlooked. Our introduction to the home upon our arrival was non existent. The woman who let us in didn't bother to introduce herself.

Home met all our needs, golf cart is a must and was added value to our experience. Home was neat and picked up, but could use a little TLC. My son has allergies and we found traces of dog hair, we thought this property did not allow pets and I may have missed that. We also felt that the property management team could be more customer service oriented. They were efficient,but I felt they could be more welcoming,

what a mess!

We had to wipe down most of the fridge and still couldn't get all the old food dried-up inside. Dishes and table had dried up food. Bathroom showers full of hair. The arms on the white chairs at the table were grey from all the dirt. Overall the place was considerably run down. Didn't need to communicate with property management at any point.

Dated condo. Good location

Great location and use of golf cart was big plus. Unit was very old and dated. Carpet was stained. Towel and toilet paper holders were broken in bathroom (just torn off and not replaced) minimal lighting. Very minimal pantry (basically just salt and pepper and coffee filters). Bedsheets were clean but need to be replaced. Worn so thin in areas you could see through them. Washer and dryer in unit was convenient. Bare minimum for rental however this is our experience in general for Catalina island.

Nice View but Needs Updating

The host was kind enough to let us check in earlier but it wasn’t until the day of that we found out. We also got a complimentary one hour late check out because they didn’t have anyone coming in that day but gave us the ok that morning of check out. The view of the home is wonderful. It’s a bit high up if you are walking up and down the street. there is one 6 person cart, which was very, very helpful. Main issue is that it has a lot of areas that need upkeep, including the two bathrooms. The kitchen was not fully stacked, as it should be. The towels were not plenty, especially, the bath towels, as it should be. They did not have any beach towels. The newest item was the washer & dryer, but it did not have any detergent for the clothes. There was a Bounce box that was empty. It had barely any Items for cleaning the table or the kitchen. So, some things were very limited. It needs a little bit of a touchup & TLC to make it a wonderful place. The shower water was horrible. Barely any pressure. Overall clean, but because of the very old bathrooms, and some of the kitchen cabinets, it didn’t give off too much of a clean vibe. Also, covers and pillows were limited. For the price I paid on a non-holiday weekend, we expected a lot more.
