The house was very clean. It's located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It was well stocked with cooking utensils. It was pet friendly with a secure fenced backyard. The host was responsive and accommodating. We stayed here while we were in town for work and would stay here again.

Thank you, Dale, for your feedback and great rating. We’re glad the property suited your needs and appreciate your note about updates — we’re continually working to make each stay even better. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
Great location in a quiet neighborhood that was close to many areas of interest. We attended the Jour de Fete festival in St. Genevieve—hopping on Highway 61 at the bottom of the hill had us there in 10 minutes. One of the bathrooms had two sets of grab bars in the step-thru tub access shower. It would be perfect for anyone with mild balance/stability concerns.Beds were comfortable and vintage decor very 60s. Bathrooms and bedrooms very clean. Kitchen could use additional cleaning of wall tile and interior of lower cabinets, as well. Not a deal breaker, though. We would stay here again. Cassie was very responsive to questions. If you’re a birder, we saw red headed woodpeckers each morning while outside for breakfast at the patio table and one morning a pileated woodpecker. Fun and unusual sighting!

Hi! We are the Funks, Jordan and Cassie. Our small family enjoys visiting the local area so much we decided we wanted to share it with the world.
Why they chose this property
This property has a lot to offer; a desk area for those, who need to complete a few work things; a hot tub and outdoor fire pit, for those who just want to relax; a privacy fence, so you can relax without any interruptions from the outside world; a charcoal grill, for the grill master; smart tv's for those who just want to be inside; and games for raining days.
The house is centrally located between Ste. Genevieve, MO, Perryville, MO, and Kaskaskia, IL. History buffs beware! Kaskaskia, IL was the first capital of IL and Ste. Genevieve was the first settlement in MO. This area is full of history. Being centrally located also makes it a great place for wine connoisseurs. Come checkout what all the local area has to offer.
