Perfect! Everything was lovely and well maintained - but the views! Wow! And the inclusion of the boogie boards meant hours of fun at the beach just a few minutes away. Everything from booking to check in was smooth, seamless and timely! Highly recommend!

The cottage at Cherry Hill was incredibly clean and quiet. It felt very private and super relaxing. We walked the Cherry Hill beach every morning and sat on the small patio watching the wild life before starting our day. We saw lots of birds, rabbits, and deer. The view was incredible. We could actually hear the waves from the cottage. There were plenty of mosquitoes but only a problem during early morning and early evening. So bring spray if you come in mid to late August, however, it did not impact our stay at all. The location was a drive to most of the local seaside towns, but easy driving. Beaches were close by and beautiful! I would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for quiet and natural beauty.

This is a very quiet, peaceful and gorgeous place to stay. The views are incredible! As a person with a walking disability, I did find the back door step very difficult and was a bit disappointed that I could not access the water from the property. However, the beach access is just a 5 minute drive to the other side of the property. We are already planning another trip!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Very new build, extremely clean. Lovely location with stunning views of the ocean! Private, quiet. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away, this is it! Short drive off the 103. Easy to find. And at a very affordable rate. What more do you need !?! :))

Our host was very available and helpful. They provided us with a bag of ice when there was none in the freezer and temperature outside was 32.The cottage was lovely with a great view. Everything was new and comfortable. Kitchen was very well supplied and the large beds very comfortable.The one air conditioner in one bedroom struggled to cool the great room across the hall, as the many South-facing windows raised the interior temperature to an unbearable degree until we could open windows after sunset. Good thing there was a breeze on the nearby beach we could escape to. Future visitors may benefit from planned heatpump cooling.Be sure to bring bug dope - we have never experienced the swarms of mosquitos as we ran from car to cottage. We were swatting them inside, and brought many home with us in the car.

Cherry Hill Beachfront Gem

Exceptional cottage with outstanding views. The cottage itself is a cut above- new, spotless and fully equipped. It’s on a small bay, overlooking a beautiful sandy beach. Great for birdwatching. Easy access to Lunenburg and Bridgewater. We were sad to check out!

Stunning property!

Alecia was most gracious and accomodating. We were in contact with her continually, and she was able to ensure a wonderful experience. The property was new and very comfortable. There was a bonus in seeing wildlife, deer, rabbits, loons etc. the close by beach is amazing and one of the best I’ve experienced in Nova Scotia. We highly recommend this exceptional property.

The location of this house is stunning. 10/10. Very close to a spectacular beach. The house was super clean and we very much appreciated the stocked pantry (coffee, oil, vinegar, salt, sugar etc), laundry, netflix and even popsicles in the freezer! The kids had a blast. For the adults, a few suggestions to make the stay easier would be: some clothing hooks, hangers, laundry line for beach towels, and maybe some dimmers or lighting options in the main area to help chill out in the evening. Mattresses might need replacing soon. Regardless we would definitely come back to this spot!

The view is lovely and the nearby beach spectacular but the number of mosquitoes was overwhelming! We were bitten so many times and had to run from car to door which made it impossible to enjoy the outside deck or to BBQ. Walking to the beach was impossible with the number of bugs, at all times of the day. We had issues with the smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night due to low battery and that was not resolved during our stay. The AC unit in the bedroom was loud and did not cool the entire house. Plus the mosquitoes came in thru the AC unit.The house needs some end tables, a mini-split system to cool instead of the window AC, and some more cutlery.

It's too bad there were so many mosquitoes during your visit. Certain times of the year they are worse than others. There were very few this year in June and July. This goes for the entire rural coastal community. There is little I can do about that but luckily the beach is usually free of mosquitoes so I hope you were able to enjoy the outdoors there. I tried my best to get the backup battery replaced before your visit ended, the smoke alarms were still fully functioning since they are hardwired in.

The cottage is immaculate, very clean, there is a full laundry hookup, Kitchen has everything needed. Internet & tv worked great. We absolutely loved listening to the waves hitting the beach & the view of the beach is beautiful. The beach is very close on an access road, it has fine sand and is very clean. We saw deer and rabbits in the yard. I would love to live there.

La propriété est conforme, propre, c'est l'environnement qui ne l'est pas. En raison des moustiques, il était impossible de demeurer à l'extérieur. Adjacent à un marécage, nous étions assaillis dès que nous allions dehors. Pourtant habitués aux moustiques, nombreux, au Québec, nous n'avons jamais vu cela, et nous n'avons vu aucune mention de ce problème dans les commentaires. Dommage.

I'm sorry to hear that the mosquitoes were a nuscience during your visit. It seems that between the middle of August to the middle of September this year we did experience way more than usual. Earlier in the summer there were few, if any at all. In case you wish to visit again, please know it's not always like that.

Perfekte Location

Wunderschönes Haus in sehr ruhiger Lage mit herrlichem Meerblick. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig! Das Haus ist neu und gut augestattet, selbst in der Küche fehlte es an nichts. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert. Bei Fragen wurde umgehend geholfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
