Great weekend getaway

This home was well maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing family fun weekend! Walloon Lake is a charming little community with beautiful lake views. Enjoyed the day at the Skybridge and an evening of cards and great company! Would recommend staying here!

We came to relax and visit as friends and that is what we did. We had a few lovely fires in the yard, coffee/lunch/dinner on the deck. We enjoyed the private back yard area so much we played cards outside. This home is close to the lake and a beautiful waterfront walk along beautiful gardened and decorated lake front homes of the past. We Enjoyed our walks. Close to many things. A Smaller home but would fit a family of 5-6 easy for a visit of the area. Has 4 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and the home had everything we needed. Yes I would return.

Clean, Comfortable and Great Location

Overall, enjoyed our stay and this was a great location for skiing: within approximately 30 minutes from The Highlands & Nubs and less than 15 minutes from Boyne. Four bedrooms with 2 king beds is a major plus and generally hard to find. House was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. Walloon Lake has a small, but very nice, downtown area with a couple of nice restaurants and a gourmet grocery store; both of which came in very handy. Rated communication 5 stars, but really none was required. Check-in worked as described and instructions in the booklet were clear on what to do for checkout. The only downside was that the furnace was loud when starting up (sounded like it might need service & that might resolve it), but there are 2 doors between it and the nearest bedroom, so it wasn't a factor. Overall, very happy with our stay.
