The hot tub was amazing! Location was centralized for so many winter fun activities. The floors could have been better swept (especially in the bunk room)The kitchen was fully equipped with what we needed. The hot tub towels were much appreciated Lots of throw blankets that were absolutely used! The dishwasher needs a good clean - we mostly are out but the fee dishes we accumulated we placed in the dishwasher before checkout and when we opened it, it smelled horrible. It was completely empty.Otherwise amazing home and location
A nice lakefront neighborhood that provides a relaxing environment for a vacation/stay!! The hot tub works great and the lake access from the backyard is an added bonus! Reasonably priced for your experience and the host communication is great!(There is tall grass in the back and front yards, in case you bring animals or small children).
This was the perfect late fall getaway for my wife and I. The house was clean, the host was extremely accommodating and prompt with replies to questions and the location is perfect! The hot tub is an added bonus and a great way to spend a cold fall evening, listening to music and talking. We cannot recommend this place enough and will likely be looking to book another weekend for a quick winter getaway.
The inside of the house was very nice. The yard needs some work. Future renters should plan on bringing their own Kleenex, propane for the grill, an igniter to start a fire in the fire pit, caffeinated coffee for the keurig.
House was situated a perfect distance from many major areas. Quiet street and lake. Note: appears that this lake is a “no wake” lake and public ramp is NOT made for real boats on trailers. That being said, it was perfect for paddle board or kayak. We had brought our own inflatable boards but house had one already waiting along with an inflatable kayak. Great atmosphere sitting on deck that provided good shade. Yard wasn’t mowed and was quite long but mowers came on last day. This house could really use some attention to the landscaping to give it more curb appeal. Lots of overgrown plantings in front yard. Inside was clean and roomy. Second bathroom is quite small and would be a struggle for larger bodies. Perfect for young people and kids. Overall was a very nice and relaxing spot!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
We enjoyed the location and proximity to many local areas. The host was communicative and responded promptly during our stay. Our biggest complaint with this property was the lack of vacuum or sweeping of the floors before our arrival. Not a single room or bathroom had been swept and we had to vacuum all of the rooms. This was quite frustrating considering we were charged a cleaning fee! The smaller bathroom was also extremely small, which was hard to tell by the photos. The windows seemed old as several had broken seals and dirty panes. The dryer did not work properly or barely at all. There were no extra towels provided so we had to try to wash a load while we were there and it made drying very difficult as it took 3 hours to dry the load. Contrary to some other reviews, the grill seemed nice and we were able to use. The hot tub seemed low on water and had dirt or sand in the bottom, I assume from previous guests. But the host was quick to have someone service it the next day which was appreciated. The host was made aware of these items and stated they would be working to address them for future guests.
Location on the lake was great. The lake itself was not too small and not too big. Perfect for fishing and jumping in. Also, the shore line was not over developed which made for a more serene setting. At some points, I was the only one on the lake. The house had positives and negatives. Positives included nicely upgraded kitchen features like new appliances and countertops equipped with what most need for basic cooking. The one bathroom off the main bedroom was nicely updated, however the second bathroom was less than advertised and too small for any decent sized person and was located off the kitchen and not the other 2 bedrooms. The overall negatives were the house was showing some wear. The windows were in need of a serious upgrade- especially the picture window looking out to the lake which had a broken seal which caused condensation between the panes partially blocking the pretty view . The house was clean, however, the sheets on the bed of the main bedroom were not changed at our arrival. Not sure who is responsible for responding to texts but they went unanswered to fix the problem until we finally called the emergency number which was answered and responded to immediately. Someone was out within 30 minutes to change the sheets and was very apologetic. Overall nice stay but pics reflect a little nicer than reality. But this could easily be rectified with better upkeep of the home and property. Location to local towns was perfect.
