Nicely presented house; walk to shops and beaxh

This is not an expensive property and was good value for the price. Although an older style house on quite a busy road, it has been very nicely presented and the pool was, unusually in my experience, a good temperature and hence fun for all.

Clean and comfortable

Great communication from the host. We were very comfortable. Enjoyed a number of different areas to sit and relax in the house. We had a happy time there.

We turned up to the property to see a dead cockroach on the kitchen bench, empty beer cans by the pool seating and a used plaster next to the pool. We couldn't find the TV remote and during the process of trying to find it we looked under the sofas which had clearly not be vacuumed under for weeks. There were also a number of redback spiders around the pool which I know can't be controlled but guests should be aware of. The bathrooms were at least clean. I contacted the host through the app but never got a response, all I received was automated messages. One automated message said we can get in contact via email at ---------@----.com. There was a phone number provided which I sent messages to with no response. I then called and managed to speak to the property manager who said she would get back to me. After not hearing anything a week after our stay I called again, she then said she would get back to me by the end of the week but I never heard back. I then called again 3 days later and she was not interested in listening to my complaint or trying to find any resolution. She said she would text me an email address to send my concerns to, but no surprise I didn't hear anything. I can't recommend this property because the place wasn't cleaned and the customer service from the host has been beyond terrible.
