Super clean room and smelt delicious! Stephen and Jude were extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The communication from them was excellent. The tray of welcome goodies was a lovely touch and very much appreciated as it was a very rushed stay for us. We were very grateful to be able to make a quick sandwich with the lovely, fresh bread that was provided. My only complaint would be that we didn't get to stay for long enough and enjoy the facilities and surrounds to the max. Perhaps we'll have to revisit...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at Misty Valley. The setting was so beautiful and tranquil surrounded by tall trees with lots of kookaburras. Also 2 wallabies who made an appearance the second night. The cabin was super clean and homely and had everything we needed and more. Thanks to Steve & Judy who are wonderful hosts!

Another fantastic stay

Rebooked a longer stay here after a lovely weekend break a few months ago The property remains well appointed, everything is thought of from soaps, shampoos, and snacks to leads, beds, and treats for fur babies! Steve and Jude had lovingly expanded the fenced dog areas which my two pups were thrilled with. We will definitely be back, thank you again for another wonderful stay Steve and Jude!

The perfect tranquil sanctuary!

I stayed at Misty Valley with my 2 dogs I was not charged extra for the animals, and upon arrival they were delighted to find their very own special treats and several comfy dog beds. There is a large dog run and several smaller fenced areas for fur families to enjoy We were looking for somewhere private and peaceful, and found that and more at Misty Valley. The owners are very lovely and accomodating yet the property is completely secluded and private There is so much I could say about what made the property special. The welcome hamper, luxurious carpet in the bedroom, the outlook over the forrest and dam, and the comfort of the seating in the dining and living room just names a few… Phone reception isn’t the best, however I could receive calls on the back deck. Despite this the owners share a strong wifi connection which remained strong and undisrupted throughout my stay Thank you Steve and Jude for such an amazing weekender, I hope to come back soon!

We're glad you enjoyed your stay Leah. Regarding the dogs, there is actually a modest additional charge for pets /per stay, to cover 3xtra cleaning requirements. This fee should have been added at the booking stage, so there must have been a problem with the booking window, or you may not have indicated that you would have dogs with you during your stay. We'll check the listing details for future bookings. Regards Steve and Jude Misty Valley.

Paradise in a beautiful valley on the Mid North Coast.

The perfect destination with or without pets. 15 minutes to unspoilt beaches and coastal communities and then home again to the private mini house set on a vast natural bush property. The house is separated from the main residence. Tastefully designed with a generously sized open living area and seperate bedroom with ensuite. A neat veranda is situated out the back with lovely views of Misty Valley perfect for relaxing in the morning, watching and listening to the abundant bird life and in the evening enjoying a barbecue and a visit from the local wallabies. The Friendly Hosts!! Everything you could possibly need has been thoughtfully provided. A generous supply of Nescafé pods and teas and other beverage needs. Snacks and treats. A picnic bag for trips to a bench seat overlooking the lush pastures of Congarinni. The owners even pre-mowed the trails for us. Long leads for walking the dogs up to the ridge. Insect repellent and mosquito coils for the veranda. Fresh towels for the dogs and all shapes and sizes of clean bedding for them. The “human”Queen bed is comfortable and the pillows provided are clean and fresh and of premium quality. The air conditioning is efficient, making it comfortable on humid days. There is also a laundry off the veranda with a brand new washing machine and dryer. Misty Valley is a premium destination. The most beautiful valley setting we have ever visited. Amazingly the Kelpie and Doberman were both exhausted. We look forward to returning.

It was a pleasure to have Jo and Jerome stay with us for a week along with their dogs Trooper and Goose who were perfect guests also. We love hosting guests who appreciate our little piece of forest paradise & make the most of the beautiful surroundings. It's great to be able to meet awesome people who appreciate pet friendly accommodation as we do ourselves, and also give them their space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of MistyValley. We'd love to have Jo and Jerome stay with us again anytime. Steve and Jude
