Newly renovated 7 bedrooms 5 1/2 baths - lakefront Smokey Mountain, Marina views

Mariner's View is located on the Main channel next to Stone's View(VRBO# 572667); owning both properties enables us to offer our guests the option of a 14 bdrm stay experience to comfortably accommodate up to 34 for family gatherings or corporate events.
The location is convenient yet private. Located 125 yards from main street downtown, 1/2 mile to the area's grocery store, and a 1/4 mile from the marina and public boat ramp.
The house offers a panoramic view of Douglas Lake with the three highest peaks of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine in the background, and a back yard that extends down to the lake. The back deck and patio are great areas to entertain a large group or just relax with a book and take in the view.

Dandridge is a mix of old and new, we have tried to accomplish the same at Mariner's View. Our goal was to keep the charm of this 1930's home with all the modern amenities to create a truly special place. There are three large gathering areas for entertaining, two kitchens, a 1,200 sq ft patio area (520 sq ft of the patio is covered), and a 550 sq ft deck off the living room area.
The home offers seven bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 17 and 5 full bathrooms and 1 half bath. The home has two master suite bedrooms with en-suite baths. The entire home has been professionally decorated with many luxury upgrades.
For the chef, the kitchen is well equipped with new and convenient appliances and cookware. There is plenty of capacity with two ranges and two refrigerators.
The best Mariner's View has to offer is the inner peace and joy you'll experience seating on the deck or patio watching the birds catch their lunch, the occasional deer and turkey grazing, or maybe a glimpse of bald eagles that nest in the area. We hope you visit us and experience the unique qualities of the Great Smokey Mountains, Douglas Lake, and historic Dandridge at Mariner's View.

Great family trip. Easy access, incredibly clean and spacious. Great to be in town and on the water. Enough rooms and bathrooms for the whole family. We cooked dinners for 12 every night. Second fridge, oven and kitchen were very helpful for prep.

Great family vacation spot

We stayed here with 15 family members and had plenty of room for everyone. View is to die for and Dandridge is a great little town close to many activities.

Large house in a great location

Excellent home to stay

We had a great time and the property worked out great for our family vacation. The view from the decks across the lake, access to the lake for fishing and boating was awesome. The owner was very pleasant and helpful upon check in.

The house was very nice, with room for our family of 10 adults and 5 kids. Each family had their own sleeping area which is hard to find.Anything we needed for meal prep was right on hand. Activites for all were close by if we wanted to do something besides relax and enjoy the view.Would recommend this house to anyone.

Lake house vacation

The property was amazing. The house is large for a group gathering. We enjoy the Canadian geese flying over every morning, seeing the boats out on the lake. Downtown is historic and sweet, we went to many of the little places and saw some of the historic sites.

Amazing place to relax!

The house was beautiful & clean! Great location for spending time on the lake. We rented a boat, went to Dollywood and hit a lot of the tourist stuff in Pigeon Forge/Sevierville. Returned every night to this wonderful house that the adults and teen-agers as well loved. Everyone had some space to relax and enjoy themselves! 10/10 will be visiting again!

Great Vacation Home

We had 13 family members for our vacation and had plenty of space and bathrooms. The view is amazing and the house was the cleanest VRBO home we’ve ever rented. The kitchen was well stocked. The local people were very friendly. We spent a day in near-by Pigeon Forge but otherwise enjoyed the house and lake. We usually don’t stay in the same place twice for vacation but we are already considering staying here again next year!

The house is gorgeous, had plenty of room for our group of 5 couples for a family reunion, and the owner was fantastic with communicating. We only had one small issue with outdoor grill that was quite dirty, but we notified the owner, who said it would be addressed, Everything else though, exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely gorgeous home

I booked this beautiful home for our annual girls trip and all 13 women had nothing negative to say. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. We only had a couple of minor issues and the owner responded quickly. We loved the fact that there no bunk beds and everyone had a comfortable bed. The view of the lake was amazing with the mountains in the distance.

Kent, our host is great! He is responsive and welcoming. Ours stay was wonderful. The view is fantastic! The house is well appointed and the decor is beautiful. We love to cook together as a family and the kitchen at this location is great. Easy for multiple people to work in at the same time. We travel to Tennessee as a family at least once a year and will definitely rebook this property again!

Golf Getaway

We have a group of guys who go on a couple of golf trips a year. This fall we found this GREAT house in Dandridge. It's only minutes from everything. The house is newly remodeled and is beautiful inside and out! We had nine adults and had plenty of beds and room for everyone. Kent is a great host and met us at the house to give us some tips on where to eat in the area. He was right on in his picks and we enjoyed eating at everyone he suggested. There is a large deck out back on the lower level that overlooks the lake, where we spent our afternoons looking at the boats and wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back again. Ronnie Laine

Best family rental in a long time

This property is ideal for anyone that wants beautiful views that is conveniently located near to a super cute small downtown with easy access to sites like Dollywood, Gatlinburg, great Smokey mountain national park and more. Additionally, the home is split into an up and down stairs with kitchens on both levels making it especially well suited for 2 or more families that want to be together but still have their area they can retreat to when they have had too much togetherness. Alternatively, you can reserve the upstairs for quieter folks and downstairs to the more ‘youthful sorts’Only very minor negative is that the property photos lead me to believe there was a dock in the property. You can go to a public dock that is close to the property but it is not actually on the property itself. Still would recommend 10/10 to others.

Better than photos

This location was perfect for my family’s Thanksgiving gathering! There were 13 of us total (8 adults, 5 kids ranging from two to fourteen). And everyone had plenty of space! The location of the home is seemingly quiet and reserved, however wonderfully placed. We enjoyed the quaint downtown (everything within walking distance)- the historic soda shop in the pharmacy (open weekdays- kids loved the ice cream!), the library two houses down, plenty of antique and niche stores, there’s even a local museum one street over. The girls in our group went on a few wines tours in the nearby pigeon forge /gatlinburg (I have to say, Tennessee is not known for their wine…but still fun). And the boys attended a UT football game (go Vols!!). Overall just a great location looking over the lake and with the Smokey mountains in the background. It would be hard to beat this location for a large group!

Why they chose this property

Dandridge exemplifies small town USA; it has a proud, unique historic past and is protective of its heritage. My wife and I love to take walks; we're entertained by the cities nuances and in awe of the lakes natural beauty.
We find it very convenient to have two marinas within 1.5 miles to rent various kinds of boats and accessories. The public dock and boat ramp is less than a mile away for those who have their own water craft.

What makes this property unique

Mariner's View has been totally renovated to offer spacious gathering areas for large groups and special events; as well as, the property offers private places to experience special views and share intimate moments.
We have hosted many lovely weddings, family reunions, special wedding anniversaries, church and corporate retreats, and memorable family vacations.
Dandridge is a quaint and historic lakefront town. Mariner's View has one of the best views on the lake which creates a serene environment to enjoy and create memories.
