Perfect place for family gathering!

What a beautiful place, so close to beaches and local cafes, yet away from the crowds. The house offers so many lounge areas and the pool a must this time of the year.We had an amazing time with out 4 kids and their partners - will definitely visit this place again.

The location of this property in Shoal Bay is great, and there is ample parking for up to three cars, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, aside from these positives, we were disappointed with the overall presentation and condition of the property. After paying nearly 5,000 for a week’s stay, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. The house was unclean and in need of a deep clean. Walls and surfaces had marks and splatters, the couch was heavily stained, outdoor furniture was filthy, and the pool area was overgrown with weeds and low on water.Maintenance issues were numerous. Both kettles were rusted, so we had to buy our own, the upstairs toilet ran continuously, the bathroom sink drained slowly, a curtain rod had fallen off, a back door barely closed, blinds didn’t function, and a mattress had a spring protruding that caused a cut finger. Rat droppings were found in the garage, and there was mould in the shower silicone. After complaining, the real estate organised a plumber and issued a small refund, but in our opinion, it wasn’t adequate given the number of issues. While the location and parking are excellent, the property was not presented to the standard expected for a holiday rental at this price point and our experience was not so great. We would definitely not book this house again.

Family birthday celebration

As pictured online - 5 good sized bedrooms; large living and dining areas with plenty of seating. The kitchen was well stocked - more glasses than I’ve ever seen before- a couple of larger saucepans would have been good when cooking for our family group of 9. The pool would be great if staying in summer. The rumpus room has a table tennis table and there are plenty of board games. The house is in a quiet street and walking distance to the beach, restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket.A few minor maintenance issues and a LOT of steps from the ground floor to the main living area- definitely not for the frail or small children.
