Comfortable and spacious

It is a great place for large groups. The pool is extremely cold in the winter and spring, but probably comfortable in the warmer months. A park is in walking distance for the kids and the neighborhood is very quiet and appeared safe.

Thanksgiving family trip 2023

We came to visit family for the Thanksgiving holiday in Supris, AZ. We decided to stay at this house instead of a hotel. We loved our stay! The kitchen was well stocked to be able to contribute to sides for Thanksgiving. We had plenty of room for a family of 5. The kids had the game room and the pool. Mandy the owner, texted the first day to check on us.

Very nice sized bedrooms , tv room, game room.

Overall the house was roomy and clean. The lighting in tv area was poor . The switches did not function adequately . The kitchen lacked implements for cooking our meals. Few pt & tp or trash bags. No garage prkg .

Too bad about the broken bed

I wish I could give five stars, because the house was spacious, clean, and well-furnished But....the evening of the second day of a three-night stay, as I was sitting on the bed, it simply broke. The slats came off the frame. It was too late to get a repairman that night, so my husband and I managed on the couch (not a fold-out). The next day, the property owner got a repairman in, and while he was there, he also fixed a burned-out lightbulb. I can't give a five-star review when we spent one night on the couch. Communication wasn't five-star either. Messaging via the VRBO site wasn't reliable, because the property manager doesn't forward messages to the owner. Even communicating over text wasn't perfect: we'd asked for warning before the repairman showed up but didn't get it. The icing on the cake: I asked about a rebate for the night we spent on the couch, and the property manager ignored the issue about the bed, only saying that a burned-out lightbulb doesn't qualify.

Jill, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following: Owner's response: "Jill, We took care of you as soon as we could and were surprised by your review. We had direct communication after and you told me everything was great, but your review does not indicate that. - When you contacted us about the burnt-out bulb and the bed slats I advised you that I would send someone out to get them taken care of the next day. The repairman came out and they replaced the bulb. If you wanted you could have used one of the other bathrooms that didn't have a bulb out or keep the door open. - The bed was fully functional and there was no reason for you to have slept on the couch, the bed was not broken. There was a slat from under the bed that came loose and it was also put back into place by the repairman.We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

Could use some work

We appreciated being close by to our family in the neighborhood, as that is why we chose this location. Communication with the contract was sparce. Issued we noticed: 1. The pool needs cleaning/services. The vacuum doesn't seem to do anything at all. The pool was dirty when we arrived on Wednesday. Owners said they have someone cleaning it on Thursdays. We did not see them or get a confirmation they serviced the pool. We checked the levels and they were all off. We spent a good deal of time cleaning debris out of the pool in order to use it. 2. Supplies are low. There are only 4 pool towels. So if you have more than 4 in your group you'd need to pack those with you. 3. Supplies in general are low. We couldn't use the grill due to no grillware. We could not use the oven to cook due to sparse cookware. It was very difficult to cook a meal because there isn't much to use. Same with the plates. That could use more so we're not doing dishes after every meal. 3. There's a funky green powder all over the edges of the floor which is unsightly. I asked about it and was told it's part of the floor being installed. 4. The AC is on a schedule at night where it raises up and becomes very hot several times during the night. This resulted in pretty bad sleep since we kept having to wake up and adjust the temp to a comfortable level. And the two bedrooms in the front need better blinds. The rooms were very hot due to the blinds not fully closing and being thin. Overall a nice pl

Had a wonderful time here. Its in a nice area in Surprise Farms close to some restaurants, shopping and gyms. Quiet street with a park nearby for the kids.The inside of the home was very spacious. Upstairs had a large master bedroom/bathroom, a game room, and 2 smaller bedrooms with a full bath for those 2 bedrooms. Down stairs had a nice clean kitchen with a small kitchen table. The living room had a large TV and sectional. The wifi was very fast and could handle streaming shows and movies.Outside had a nice size pool, probably about 6 feet deep. The was also a picnic table and some furniture to sit on and enjoy the sun.I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. That said a couple of critiques. 1. There was some green powder along doorways and on mouldings along the floor. Im only venturing to guess its preventative for pests or bugs but it was just odd.2. They could leave maybe an extra 2 or 3 more garbage bags. We were only left 2 total garbage bags for our 6 day trip and was close to needing to buy some.3. We were also only left 2 extra toilet paper rolls for our stay, could of used a few more.That said, we loved the home and enjoyed our time here.
