The Space:

Snow settles softly through the evergreens as you arrive at this mountainside townhouse, the quiet of Whistler Mountain creating a calm backdrop to your stay. After a day on the trails, you can ease into the hot tub while the pines sway overhead or warm up by the wood-burning fireplace as dusk deepens across the forested slopes. With vaulted ceilings, large windows, and views of the gondola gliding in the distance, the home offers a peaceful place to unwind in the heart of winter.



Sleeping arrangements

The townhouse sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. On the upper level, the primary bedroom features a king split bed, a walk-in wardrobe, a TV, and a balcony, along with an ensuite that includes a deep soaker tub, glass-enclosed shower, and double vanity. A second primary bedroom on this level also offers a king split bed, a step-out balcony, and its own ensuite with similar amenities. On the lower level, two additional bedrooms each include a king split bed and access to the hot tub patio, sharing a bathroom with a soaker tub, shower, and double vanity. A powder room on the main level adds convenience.



Living spaces

The split-level interior is filled with natural light from oversized windows, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere during colder months. In the lounge, you can relax beside the wood-burning fireplace, settle into the reading nook, or make use of the dedicated workspace. Air conditioning, portable fans, and heating provide comfort throughout your stay. The home also includes a TV, WiFi, in-suite laundry, a safe, and a smart lock for self check-in.



Kitchen & dining

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, and the essentials needed for preparing meals. A dining table seats eight, while the breakfast bar offers additional seating. The balcony provides outdoor space with a BBQ grill, outdoor furniture, and a view of the gondola, giving you a chance to enjoy the fresh air even in the winter chill.



Outdoor living & amenities

On the ground-level patio, the hot tub offers a welcome retreat after time spent exploring the mountain. A private entrance, patio or balcony, and parking garage support easy movement throughout your stay. The garage accommodates two small or one large car, with additional driveway parking available, and the mudroom and storage spaces can hold skis and bikes.



Ski access

Skiing is close at hand, with access to the Dave Murray ski trail and the 2010 Olympic downhill run leading to the Creekside Gondola. The ski-out entrance is approximately 400 m away, and at one point you will need to remove your skis or snowboard to cross a road. The ski-home trail branches off the Lower Dave Murray Downhill run and returns you within a short walk of the townhouse. This access is best suited for intermediate skiers and is weather dependent.



Neighborhood

Perched high in the peaceful Nordic neighborhood, Taluswood offers a quiet, forested setting above the bustle of the village. While there is no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, and the surrounding trails and mountain views create a serene winter environment.

Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one large or two small vehicles. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.
