About the host
Hosted by Vishal Bhatia
HI! Welcome to my listing. I am a consultant, and frequently stay at Airbnb myself. I currently spend my time between Philadelphia in the US, and Toronto in Canada but have also lived in India and the UK. I love traveling and meeting people from all walks of life, and Airbnb has enabled me to do that when I travel and by hosting them in my own home. It's making friends out of this endeavor that I cherish the most. It doesn't always work out that I meet my guests, but when I have, it's led to great conversations, drinks, ongoing friendship, and even mutual visits in a few instances.
These perks are a bonus, but at the very minimum, I am committed to making my guests feel at home and it will be my pleasure to host you!

Why they chose this property
This is the most vibrant neighborhood with something for everything whether you're a nature lover, sports and entertainment enthusiast, farmer's market goer, convention attendee, music aficionado, foodie, or want to indulge in retail therapy :) Everyone from kids and elderly to couples and professionals coming to Toronto for work can enjoy the variety of things all within walking distance... and without having to spend your precious time commuting and planning. Spontaneity is the gift that my neighborhood offers.
What makes this property unique
My friends often comment just how calm and grounded they feel when they come to home... hence the "oasis" in my title. Being downtown but still feeling a little removed from the density, and being able to see the lake, and bathe in the glow of the early morning sunlight and the warm sunsets surrounded by plants, art and beautifully done place is something that I personally love coming back to after my travels. So to have the best of the busy downtown while also being calm and secluded seeing nature -- it's unbeatable for me, that's precisely why I bought this place and call it home.
