This is indeed an adorable cottage within a short walk to both the river beaches and the sound, as well as a short walk to shops and restaurants. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything that we needed to be comfortable. The living area is very spacious and the bedrooms roomy. The three full bathrooms were a huge bonus since this was a friends vacation of five women. The outdoor space is amazing, with a huge deck, a lot of seating, and a fire pit with plenty of available wood. We took advantage of the local restaurants, visited multiple antique stores, and enjoyed wine tasting at Ingleside Vineyard. We had a wonderful few days and would definitely go back.

It was great, we stayed over Christmas so it was important that there was a tree and proper kitchen appliances available. Everything was clean and well kept and accessible to us. I’m so glad we chose this stay!

My husband and I had an incredible time! Beautiful quiet neighborhood, walking distance to coffee and town, and we used the fire pit every night which was wonderful and cozy. Master bed was very comfortable as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Colonial Beach Girlfriends Getaway

Had a great 4 day stay here! Very walkable to the beach with young children. Loved the location. More spacious in person then pictures show. Love the keyless entry for easy check in and not having to worry about taking key with when going out.

I loved everything about this place. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space inside and out. We loved the neighborhood and the convenience of being able to walk to so many places. We would LOVE to come back again!

Loved our stay

This was our first time at Colonial Beach. The house was just perfect for us. Very spacious and clean. The host was very kind and helpful. The beach was literally 2/3 minutes walk away. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard at night.

Spacious Cottage in Quiet Neighborhood

This "little" cottage had enough space for comfort and was in a very quiet neighborhood. The home was clean, well stocked and inviting. This was the perfect place for a ladies getaway retreat. We could walk just about anywhere we needed to be. 3-4 blocks from the beach and a few more from a small variety of restaurants. Can't wait to visit again!

Fantastic location and awesome property owner!

We love the Colonial Beach area! This is our third vacation in the area and this house was fantastic. Great location with short walks to awesome restaurants and close to the water. The accommodations were very comfortable and the house was spotless. Marcie (owner) was very accommodating in changing our reservations at the last minute due a major snowstorm in mid-February, but we were easily able to shift our reservation to mid-March thanks to her flexibility and assistance. She left us some great St Patrick’s Day treats upon checkin. We will definitely be back again soon and hopefully this house will be available once more.Thanks again to Marcie, VRBO, and the Evolve team!

This property was clean and very family friendly. The house was a super convenient walk to the beach and places in town (the pier, restaurants, ice cream shop and playground). The patio/ firepit was nice, but the mosquitoes were overwhelming this time of year so we didnt spend alot of time outside around the property.(thats nature for you!) We love the friendly small town, family oriented community!
