We really enjoyed our time here. It was spacious enough for our group of 10.
We ended up getting a baby gate for our toddler since there was no door separation the rooms downstairs. Otherwise it was very kids friendly.
The patio was perfect to see the sunrise while keeping warm in the morning.
Booked this property last minute and property manager was lightning fast to respond and accommodate our same day check-in. Excellent and fast communication. Home was large enough for our group of 10. Mattresses and linens were very comfortable and clean. Area is peaceful and quiet. We went skiing at Liberty one day and Whitetail a second day. Also lots of great hiking trails nearby like Cunningham Falls for the non-skiers. Thurmont was close by and we were able to get some yummy takeout at Bollingers BBQ and Simply Asia. A fun and relaxing weekend in a lovely setting.
The house has everything 2 families need to spend a nice weekend together. Colby was excellent and the house was warm, comfortable and had everything you could want! Highly recommend the property!
Colby was very helpful and responsive. His team set aside extra chairs & tables for our our guests before our arrival. The place was very clean and exactly what we were expecting. If we are ever back in the area, we will stay with them again.
The house is clean and has tons of beds for everyone in the group. Beds a super comfortable and beddings are hotel quality. We loved the open space in the front yard and the sun room! The kitchen is a little small but had all the basic essentials to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lots of parking in the drive way. Easy drive to liberty and the grocery stores. Quiet neighborhood. Colby is a great host! Communication was quick and easy.
Our group had a great time getting away from the city for a few days over the NYE holiday. The home was just as described and provided ample room for 5 adult and 5 kids (including the large-sized sun room with a door, which doubled-as a perfect "kid-only" space). Although the weather didn't cooperate with our plans to explore the nearby national and state parks, we were able to squeeze in a lovely walk across the Caboose Farm property before the freezing rain forced us back inside. I can see how this would be a great location for a large-sized family or corporate retreat, with all of the different properties. And great support from Colby, the property manager! Thanks for a great stay!

Idyllic
We occupied both the Lincoln and Eisenhower houses at Caboose Farm. Our stay was perfect from start to finish.
The houses are set on a spectacular parcel of land. Each house was beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. The kitchens were well equipped. The beds comfortable and both houses were air conditioned. Both houses felt more like homes then your typical rental.
Colby was there to answer every question from our first inquiry until the day we checked out.
Colby met me at the house to go over every detail and was available throughout our stay for whatever we needed. Colby's responsiveness definitely added to the quality and enjoyment of our stay at Caboose Farm.
There is a beautiful state forest just minutes away if you like to hike. The park features a gorgeous waterfall along with a lake and beach.
We loved our stay at Caboose Farm and would highly recommend it to you.
Thanks for a great stay Colby!
