House was clean and cozy. Fridge is a mini, so if you plan of cooking meals and storing food, bring an ice chest.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your review! Lakeland Village provides an ideal location for guests seeking convenient access to nearby attractions. Being located near Hwy 50, you may notice some ambient noise, though many of our guests have found it to be a worthwhile trade-off for the proximity to the area’s main activities. We maintain a very high standard of cleanliness and we apologize that you came across some items that were not to your satisfaction. For future guests to note, our teams are available 7 days a week, 9am to 6pm, and we are happy to assist with any issues that may arise. Thank you again for staying in beautiful South Lake Tahoe!
Great location on the beach and close to many restaurants. The unit is extremely hot as air conditioning is minimal and is located on the road so opening windows is very loud when sleeping.

Kelly, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We're glad you enjoyed the great location and proximity to restaurants. We appreciate your feedback as well. We’re sorry this home's AC unit was not up to par for your stay - there was a heat wave over your stay dates and many ACs were having trouble keeping up. We’ll take your feedback into consideration as we look for ways to improve navigating summer heat waves. Thank you for staying with us Kelly and we hope you enjoyed your time in beautiful South Lake Tahoe.
This property was just OK. The location is good and it was nice to be able to walk to the water. However, the unit itself really needs to be fixed up some. The towel bar by the sink is broken and the ceiling fan in the bedroom only ran on high. Some of the tiles in the kitchen are cracked and the carpet seems dirty. A cutting board would be helpful in the kitchen. The walls are not very soundproof as we could hear the people in the unit next to ours often.
This condo is in the lodge portion of a wonderful property, Lakeland Village, in South Lake Tahoe. This particular condo is really more like a Home2Suites, though, than a really nice place to stay. It provides four plates, four small bowls, a few pieces of flatware, a tiny fridge and oven, unremarkable furniture, and a unremarkable view of the main street. Adequate; nothing more. We were there in mid-Sept with highs in the mid-60's and I couldn't sleep in the loft because it was so hot -- I had to take everything downstairs and sleep on the sofa. (Which was comfortable). The tiny, old window unit A/C just isn't up to the task..... Management of the lodge is efficient, which we appreciated, but staff members aren't particularly friendly or hospitable......If you lose the parking pass it'll cost you 250.....Tip: We had an early return flight home so I took a suitcase down to the car, which was parked in the garage, at 6 a.m., not realizing that I'd get locked in that basement garage because I didn't have the general 4-digit code to open the elevator area doors to return to our condo. My fault, but not fun ..... This place is not expensive. Just know that it's Home2Suites, and can be way-too-hot-to-sleep-comfortably in that loft.

Thank you for your very detailed review! As stated in the listing, the AC for this unit is a wall unit on the ground floor. We recommend setting a fan next to the A/C unit downstairs and directing the cool air up. Then, set another fan in the upstairs loft on the opposite side of the room and point it out or down into the main floor. This will help to circulate the cool air around the room better. At night, open up the windows to circulate the air as well. During the day, we recommend keeping all shades closed and windows closed to keep cool air in. For future guests to note, the pictures on our listing are accurate. We encourage guests to reach out in advance of their stay if you have any questions about the layout, furnishings, or amenities of one of our homes. We are available 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm Pacific time via text, call, VRBO message, or email. The four digit amenity code for using the doors after hours is provided via email, a texted guide link, and on the fridge sign inside of the home. We also apologize for the experience that was had with the front desk. That area of Lakeland Village is managed by the HOA, and we will review your concerns with their company. We hope you were able to have a wonderful time in Tahoe!
