The room was clean but very tired. Worn carpet (with holes) but it was okay for a weekend.The Spa was not hot at night 32 degrees but should have been 38 which was disappointing after looking forward to it.Poor lighting at the front made it a little tricky to find at night.On the whole it was okay for a short, quick getaway but wouldn't recommend any more than a night or two.The host (Matjias) was excellent and communication was top notch

Recently reopened but comfortable cabins on a large site with lots of space for the kids to play, good layout and the cabins don’t feel on top of each other. Lots of wildlife around and behind the site. Location is just outside of Cowes and has a solar heated pool, bbqs and playground. Will be back.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
We left after just one night. On arrival, we found cleanliness issues (crumbs, hair and bugs in the bath, hair in the bed linen, and unclean dish items), very limited cutlery, and no laundry detergent, which made things difficult with a baby. The main bed seemed broken and creaked loudly with any slight movement, and the bedrooms were very cold at night. The outdoor play equipment was run down, and the indoor play area (a main reason we booked) was closed, even though we were told it would be open during the day when we asked after receiving check-in information. While the location was good and the place had potential but overall it didn’t feel properly prepared for guests.
