Nice place

Nice secluded cabin with.privacy and nice comfortable amenities. Only bad thing was hot tub was way over chlorinated to the point that you could not get in it.

Great Family Stay

My friend, parents, sister, and her husband and 2 children stayed here during my wedding and found it to be great spot for all 3 generations! There was plenty of entertainment for weeks and also nice quiet places to tuck away. The driveway is serious! Bring good shoes and listen to the advice in the listing.

4th of July Retreat

Perfect lake house in the woods to simply recharge. Nice little spot to put the canoes (provided) in and enjoy some lake time as well.Its a short hike down the trail and you’ll enjoy clear water and some good fishing. (poles also provided) You don’t need to bring anything except food. Take a short drive the next day to Tammy’s and enjoy some homemade ice cream! What a treat!!!Overall, wonderful time!!! Thank you!

Honest Review

This is the first time in my extensive experience with VRBO that I have felt compelled to lodge a complaint or request a refund. I believe it is imperative that this property be removed from the VRBO platform until the owner can provide evidence of proper maintenance and upkeep. The current state of the cabin presents both safety hazards and cleanliness issues that are unacceptable, especially at this price point. Do to character limitations I cannot provide a full review for this property. Steer clear.

These statements are not true; we have pictures to prove the cleanliness of the property and the hot tub. They never reached out to us stating that there were any issues. This is our family cabin, we take pride in what we present.

We enjoyed the privacy & solitude of this location and the paddle on the lake was lovely. My daughter and I secured the location as a base to use for our day hikes. We are outdoors people, so a bit of wear & dust don’t bother us; however, had my wife been with us, we would have left. The towels were no longer ‘white’, the shower curtains were pink, the tub upstairs had a sloppy repair of a 5x8 hole in the bottom and the exterior of the hot tub was dirty. We did not reach out to the host as I didn’t care for the hassle or inconvenience; and didn’t want to further elevate the sinking feeling I had for being taken advantage of. This cabin should be remodeled or removed from VRBO. The cabin is currently listed for sale.
