About this property

Wilderness Country Inn: Italy

Hmm, I’d like to see if we can find a nice cottage in the woods. What would be fantastic is if it had hiking trails close by, so we don’t even have to get in the car and drive. Oh, and a campfire would be really nice. And I know I’m dreaming if the cottage had a nice view of a pond. If you see something like that, please pencil me in.

It was like a little piece of Italy in Alabama! So cozy, clean, and welcoming :)The hiking was phenomenal! The full trail took us about 45 minutes and was comparable to ones we’ve gone on in the smokies. We loved exploring the property and going on a morning walk to see all the wildflowers sit next to the pond - it was so peaceful. And we also enjoyed trying out Hatters Cafe while we were in the area - a really unique place that was equally as yummy as it was interesting!!

Anniversary weekend

Truly enjoyed the thoughtful touches in the room. The view of the sky in early morning and full moon at night was great. Heard a wild turkey.
