Cabin has one bedroom (king size bed) and one bathroom, has a full eat in kitchen with everything you need to cook and serve with. The cabin has a full size washer and dryer on site. It also has a wood burning fireplace ( one bundle of wood provided), screened in porch with hot tub, and a covered parking area. All bed and bath linens are provided. The property joins the Desoto State Park Management area, so you can hike to Little River from property.

Very neat and clean and quiet mountain getaway. Hot tub stayed consistent temperature all the time. Outdoor fire pit area was relaxing day or night. Covered parking for vehicle was a Plus. Overall great place! Will definitely come again.

The cabin and all it offered exceeded our expectations! We are already discussing a return in the spring or early summer. Al’s Nest was exactly what we were looking for when we booked our anniversary trip! The location was absolutely perfect. Very close to Desoto State Park and just a short drive from Ft. Payne, Al. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and listen to the Christmas CDs, and we enjoyed the decor and sweetness of the cabin. The bed was very comfy and the water was hot. The kitchen had many more appliances than we were expecting and we were glad they did! We will absolutely recommend to our friends and family and will stay again if we have the opportunity.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Al's Nest! The host left us blueberry muffins and other goodies, the cabin was stocked with all the necessities needed and plenty of firewood. It was the perfect weekend getaway for two!

Perfect little getaway for our anniversary weekend. Very clean and cozy. The Fall decor was so cute. Loved being able to get in the hot tub at the end of the day or sit by the firepit. Our host also left us some delicious muffins and treats. The property isn't too far away from Fort Payne or the restaurants and shops in Mentone. We enjoyed getting to hike to Desoto Falls, and at the end of our trip we ate our lunch at Brow Park with a beautiful view from Lookout Mountain.

This property lived up to all positive reviews that I read about before booking it for our stay. It was very clean, cozy and smelled absolutely wonderful when we walked in the door. The directions were spot on to Google maps. It was quiet and comfortable. I plan on booking it again at a later date. And the homemade blueberry muffins were very delicious. Many thanks to our host for the great job they did on this place.
