Loved the location. Plenty of space & the kitchen was well stocked. Some items seem worn compared to the pictures. Example would be the patio furniture & a small section of flooring right inside the twin bed bedroom had been repaired & nails were sticking up. Only one towel per person for the week & two of them were very small.

Great Location/Clean

Enjoyed our stay here - great location to downtown and beach. Amazing sunrises! Place was clean and comfortable for us and our adult kids. Some items could be updated like cookware and beach chairs. Overall, we would like to return. Carolina Beach is a nice place to visit.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this ocean front property. The view was spectacular and it was a short walk across the wooden walkway to reach the beach. We enjoyed the swimming pool on site as well-it was clean and water was warm. The condo is two flights of stairs to reach which might be an issue for others if they have mobility problems. We were able to check in an hour earlier than expected by contacting the host by phone which was an added bonus. Parking could really be an issue during busier rental times. We were not able to use our allocated spot under the building on any of our stay as someone decided not to pull forward to allow us room behind them (I’m guessing they didn’t want blocked in but renters are supposed to put their phone numbers on parking passes so other renters can contact them to move their cars ) We thankfully were able to use overflow parking on either side of the pool each day of our stay but very rude of others not to pull forward. Condo is cute-a bit old school decor -not updated-but we enjoyed it. Beds were just okay-not extremely comfortable but not horrible. Definitely needs to upgrade towels & washcloths to newer ones and more of them -got 1 per person and they weren’t good quality. Washer & dryer in unit which was convenient-hair dryers in each bathroom and a mostly stocked kitchen. Beach toys/chairs in deck storage room. Baby pack n play & booster seat available too. Reasonably priced and Location was fantastic!!

Great stay

Great place, very large and the views were wonderful. The only issue I had was that there is one main door to the balcony that locks, then the sliding glass doors that enter the condo from the balcony did not lock. In theory no one would be able to enter the balcony to get in, but being on vacation with 2 kids, the not locking sliding doors made me nervous.

Great location

The unit was exactly as described. Plenty of space, kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed for meal prep and just steps to the beach! Loved the extra large oceanfront balcony/deck. The pool was immaculate and never crowded. For us,the bed in Master was more firm than what we like and in other room, the queen bed was much too soft.

Great Rental would rent again

Exactly as advertised. Large, comfortable, clean, well appointed condo. Location was stellar! Just steps to the beach and an incredible view off the deck. Had everything we needed, Well stocked kitchen, included linens and paper products that are not always available in rentals. A lot of extras too like beach gear and board/card games.

Ocean views

Oceanfront views and proximity to the beach were the best part about the space. Large balcony with seating. Tips for folks going bring your own towels for showering and the pool. Kitchen is decently stocked. Large kitchen table and seating. The sliding glass doors to the front and back balcony do not lock. So if going with small children consider this a safety concern. The front balcony ledge, my 7 year old could lean over it so we had an adult at all times with her on the front balcony, the back balcony had higher rails. Owners were very responsive.

Our stay at the beach

Not really as advertised in the on line photos. The unit was clean, but not as nice as it looked in the photos. We really didn't get to spend much time on the porch because of the cable wire. There was a lot of slack in the wire . wwithew

From the owner: Hi Darlene, we are sorry to hear the property was not what you expected.The photos in the listing are accurate, we're not sure what you felt did not match the listing.Regarding the loose cable wires, when we were there a month ago, they were not hanging low. We went to the property, tightened the cables on both ends and, ensured they are safe and secure. We have also added a notice to all our guests "Please do not stand on, rest feet on, or climb on wire railings". The safety of our guests is a top priority and we feel this is the best way to handle this. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Great place!

We had a fabulous stay at this condo. It was beachfront and pool front. You can’t beat the location and view! Be aware of the parking situation with the neighbors. It is tandem parking for one car, so if you need to leave and are blocked in, you have to call them to let you out. There is overflow parking at the pool but there are only 6 spaces. Fortunately we didn’t have an issue, and the condo owners were on standby in case we had an issue.

Views were great and we loved the easy beach access! Food, state park, and brewery all in walking distance. Low tide is amazing...you can go out far onto sandbars and the water just reaches your ankles! We lucked out finding an overflow parking spot and did not move the car...the assigned parking is tandem, so you either have to call someone to move their car, or be on call to move yours. Although I enjoyed waking up to sunrises, sleeping too much past that time was not an option with how loud it was upstairs...sounded like a stampede of horses, for hours. And the balcony that opens to the ocean also overlooks the pool, and that got loud, too. Low on the stocked toiletries, so had to purchase my own. Host did offer to reimburse, but it was about convenience, not cost. Electricity went out, so we left a day early. Not sure if that's a regular thing in the area with the nearby renovations or if that was a fluke. Overall good vacation for our first vrbo experience.
