Christmas at Lake Joy

Everything was organized so nicely. The morning view was astonishing. Everything we needed was available right down to a cotton swab! The owners are very kind and we will definitely go back again.

Very pleasant and relaxing

Stayed at this location while in the area for our niece's wedding. The house was very clean and bright, a lot of natural light. The home had all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable the comforters were soft. It was a wonderful home and a great experience and we will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Fort Perry Wedding

Down a short drive to a lovely lake view and well appointed property. We were in town for a wedding and this was an ideal property accessible to the surrounding towns with groceries and many dining choices nearby. Great communication and a real pleasure to stay.

Excellent!

We came down for our kids to show animals at Perry National fairgrounds. This house was perfect! Not too far to commute back and forth from the barn. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into details at this house to make sure all your needs are met while staying here! Hope to stay here again!

Group of umpires here for Little League training at Southeast Complex. Quick 6 minute drive. Enjoyed relaxing after a long day on the field. Will book again.

Definitely recommend this property.

Was in town for a week long civil trial and stayed at this property. Scenery was incredible, sunrises off the lake was breathtaking and whoever was in charge of interior decorating understands exactly what’s needed to help you feel like you’re right at home. Beds were comfortable, the amenities available were greatly appreciated. Irons and steamers, blow dryers, coffee and tea station, blankets l, towels and bathroom amenities. Everything was perfect thank you for the hospitality. Dog friendly (one dog) was appreciated as well as he’s my emotional support dog.

We will be back

We will be back. We were not able to truly enjoy the property and all its potential. We were so busy running into Perry setting up and for our daughters wedding day our days were booked. We were able to help with the grandchildren which we did not think would be possible, for they have thought of everything when stocking the house. We were able to keep them the night of the wedding so mom and dad could go on a honeymoon night. I can’t say enough about this property. I even created a TikTok on it. So happy!

This was 1 of the best equipped vrob I’ve been. Every little detail was attended to, really unbelievable. The house was on Lake Joy the view was so beautiful, abounded with nature, the dock was amazing. Honestly can’t can’t say enough good things about this place. Hope to be able to stay there again.

Perfect Perry Lake House

Look no further when looking for a lovely, private, and restful place to stay in the Perry / Warner Robins area. Dock Tales was literally one of the best places that we've ever stayed. It was stocked with everything we needed and then some. The private lot is surrounded by Lake Joy, Spanish moss, and other foliage - a perfect scene and retreat, especially while attending a funeral for a death in the family. The host was responsive and hospitable, as I would expect for such a thoughtfully fitted place. We look forward to returning yearly to rest, get away for a bit, and continue our family tradition of visiting Perry before getting fresh GA peaches on our way back to Atlanta.Highlights included... multiple large windows perfect for viewing Lake Joy and birdwatching (binoculars provided!), gaming loft with Capcom arcade system, dock and firepit, kitchen / coffee / tea setup, ample parking, and quiet neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful porch with lake views that made our visit even more enjoyable.
