Excellent communication with the host. Nice place to stay for a little getaway. House is very well maintained and was very comfortable. Felt like a home away from home.

Nice rental in area with abundant wildlife

We rented this property to be within walking distance of our family. The property was as described in the listing, however it is over top a business which belongs to the property owners. During our visit, we encountered a couple small hiccups. 1) a person (appeared to be an employee of the business) was smoking marijuana outside the house and the odor filled the unit. The property owners addressed it and it didn’t happen again. 2) on day two of a two week stay, we heard a critter(s) in the ceiling above the kitchen. The property owner came over, found the entry point, and thanked us for reporting it as the previous renters did not. However, they were unable to rid the peat(s) until the day before our checkout. Communication with the host was great, just hard to get a solid night rest with a suspected raccoon in the rafters.

We’ve addressed this with them to ensure it won’t happen again.- Regarding the critter, we immediately investigated upon receiving your report and identified an entry point on the roof. A contractor was on-site to seal it as soon as possible, though we’re sorry it wasn’t fully resolved until the end of your stay.Thanks again for taking the time to leave your review. We’re committed to making each stay as comfortable as possible, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
