Blanco es un tesoro escondido ubicado en el corazón de Texas Hill Country en el río Blanco, a solo 50 millas al norte del centro de San Antonio y casi a la misma distancia al oeste de Austin. Estás a 15 minutos de Wimberley, a 15 minutos de Dripping Springs, a 25 minutos de Johnson City.

Nuestro rancho ofrece una experiencia única en Texas Hill Country y tiene fácil acceso a las atracciones de los alrededores. Está cerca de más de 30 bodegas y varios parques estatales. Durante su estadía, disfrutará de unas vacaciones inolvidables en nuestra casa de campo Hill Country Home, completamente amueblada, de 1520 pies cuadrados con 3 dormitorios / 2 baños, en 40 acres. El dormitorio principal / principal tiene una cama doble, mientras que las habitaciones restantes están amuebladas, una con cama de tamaño completo y otra con 2 camas individuales. Es cómodo para dormir 6 personas.  Todas las camas tienen sábanas y mantas y almohadas adicionales. Los baños están equipados con toallas, ropa de lavado, toallas de mano y toallas de microfibra negras para eliminar el maquillaje.

El salón está amueblado con TV, reproductor de blueray y DirectTV.  La cocina cuenta con todos los electrodomésticos nuevos y está equipada con todos los artículos necesarios para cocinar, incluidos platos, cubiertos, vasos, copas de vino, tazas de café y más.

Se instaló un nuevo sistema de filtración para toda la casa y un ablandador de agua, más un sistema de ósmosis inversa conectado al refrigerador para obtener agua potable.

Hay una unidad de enfriamiento portátil en el dormitorio de arriba para enfriamiento adicional a medida que aumenta el calor y queremos que se sienta cómodo.

Hay muchas rutas de senderismo y vistas por millas. Pase el día en un recorrido por las bodegas, flotando en Guadalupe, visitando pozas locales o recorriendo los senderos de nuestra propiedad en busca de puntas de flecha. Dirígete a Wimberley o Dripping Springs para disfrutar de buena comida y compras.

We had an amazing time at this property! Easy check-in, super peaceful surroundings, and incredibly clean. The kitchen also had all the equipment we needed for cooking full meals. The host Teresa was fantastic---very communicative and helpful. We will certainly stay here again!

The view is spectacular here with plenty of land to explore. We enjoyed watching the sunset, looking at the stars and enjoying nature. San Antonio is only an hour away and lots to do in the area.

Beautiful Views

Just what we needed. I’ve told my daughter (10) and son (17) about the stars at night in the Hill Country. Was finally able to have them see them…..all of them! The sunsets here are magical and the fire pit was perfect for smores. Everything you could possibly need is here waiting for you. Will definitely book again! Central Location

We make an annual trip to the Texas Hill Wineries. Lonesome Dove was a great location for our favorite places. We enjoy the quiet, remote places to stay and this was right on target. Remote enough with a one hour drive max to the best wineries. The view was spectacular and the home was clean and comfortable.

What a great getaway from the big city! The views were amazing! The owners couldn't have been more attentive and welcoming!! It was so relaxing to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch in the morning and to sit out by the fire pit to watch the sunset 🌅 in the evening!! There were so many charming little towns nearby and many brewerys and wineries in the area. I hope to stay at this property again next year!!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed walking and hiking the 40acs. Lots of fossils and even found an artifact. If you're an outdoors enthusiast you'll love this place. Pet friendly at a reasonable price. Definitley coming back.

Wonderful views

Our stay at this cabin was extremely impressive. The view of rolling hills is accessible from all areas of this location. The hiking trails were invigorating for morning and evening walks and we enjoyed the endless photography opportunities of landscape, nature, and stars. The cabin itself was pleasant and relaxing, with plenty of room and amenities. Teresa, our hostess, was highly accommodating. We will absolutely stay here in the future.

Amazing views

We stayed here for the weekend and the views are amazing from the front porch. We even ended up seeing some deer in the morning through the front door. Everything was clean and nice. The trail on the property is a nice adventure as well. The house is a short drive to Pedernales Falls state park and we were able to go swim in the river and come back and still have a bunch of time to cook and relax. Definitely recommend.

Great views in the Hill Country

We enjoyed our stay at this Hill Country house. The owners were very nice, frequently checking on us. The house was very clean with comfortable living room, as described online but with room for improvement regarding a few things (limited silverware and glassware, low water pressure, upstairs A/C insufficient on hot days). The location is very peaceful and the views are absolutely amazing. Totally worth it!

A Diamond in the Rough

What an amazing property! Clean, all the necessary amenities, and an awe-inspiring. view, especially at night during a moon less evening. We had the best time just roaming around on the property and hanging out making smores. Though this is of the beaten path, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend.

Spectacular

Needed a few days to recharge and was blown away. The views are simply amazing and the drive down the gravel road to get to the property was one of the main highlights for us. Upon arrival everything from the outside to the inside was very clean and tidy. You can tell the owners take pride in hosting their guest. If you need a few days from the hustle and bustle this is the place to go. Communication with the host was impeccable,(Thank you Teresa) Cant wait to get back here for an even longer stay.

Loved our stay/awesome star gazing

This property is wonderful. We really enjoy sitting on the front porch. We walked a trail with our dogs. We made s'mores on the fire pit overlooking the canyon. The beds were comfortable. The star gazing was out of this world. We saw satellites moving across the sky, the big dipper so bright and many other constellations. Lots of shooting stars. We will definitely return to stay here this Fall or Winter.

Family stay

The view is absolutely amazing! Worth every penny for the view alone. A few helpful things if you rent this home are that it sleeps 6, but has a tiny breakfast table for 4. There is only 1 chair at the firepit and 2 chairs on the porch, so we wished we had brought camping chairs. There is no coffee table or table big enough to play a game, puzzle or have everyone eat together. We loved it for the view and had a wonderful stay!

The Views

When the rooster crows at the break of dawn, look out on the Texas Hill Country and you’ll be gone— away— transported to a higher place than the here-on-earth. The property features sea fossil hunting, hiking trails, wildlife viewing and sightseeing from family-style chairs atop of a hill. The views alone are worth the price of admission, but Lonesome Dove Hill Country Cabin hosts comfortable beds and cozy communal living spaces, as well. We left our dog at home, but would recommend you bring yours along. It’s dog-friendly, and there’s nowhere a dog would enjoy more than the stomping grounds at Lonesome Dove Hill Country Cabin.

Amazing Views!

The house is super cute, the location private, and the views are amazing! You really just can't get over the views. It is off the beaten path and we loved it!I would say the communication with Teresa was exceptional. There was a slight glitch with the VRBO reservation and Teresa was quick to fix! She even texted the next day to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. What a super person! I highly recommend this property, not only for the quality of our stay, but for the quality of the owners!

Exceptional accommodations and spectacular night sky

This property is classic Hill Country, with gorgeous views, spacious privacy, and a beautiful, comfortable house. Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Blanco and Johnson City are short rides away. The owner was great to work with, very responsive and helpful, even as they dealt with their own family emergency. We had everything we needed for a long weekend of astrophotography: a timelapse of breathtaking starry night skies and the April 8 2024 total eclipse. Thank you again Teresa for your excellent support! We hope to come back later in the summer when the Milky Way galactic center is high in the night sky.
