Great access to beach - nice upgrades in furnishings

Excellent value for the price compared to other large group houses we considered. Seems to have the largest pool in the neighborhood and a very short walk to the beach on the new boardwalk.

Wedding Vacation

House is very good size, everything you need, some things a little dated but very nice. Close to the beach through a state park which was very nice. Overall a great place.

Beautiful home that accommodated 13 easily. Location within walking distance to the beach and park, easily accessible. Rental company was responsive to our needs and assisted with a pool cleaning while we were there. Would rent from this company again!

Perfect house and location for our family gathering

44 Bradley Beach was a great house in a great location for three generations of our family to gather. The property was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The pool and patio area were a private oasis to lounge and swim for all ages. The proximity of the beach was important to us and an easy walk from the house. It was conveniently located, close to shopping, sightseeing, golf and tennis. We would definitely rent this house again.

Great Family Vacation

This was a great house for our family to get together in HHI! So close to the beach and a great pool we’re two of the highlights. We also liked how big it was so we could spread out or have alone time if needed. It was a flawless process in and out and we have no complaints. Thank you!

Very Good

We had plenty of room and will rent again. We received quick response to replace part on Keurig and replace toaster. The pool was not circulating well and needed cleaning. We would make the following suggestions. The house needs a couple of brooms. Pool should be cleaned on Fridays. The sectional in the living area needs replacing with another new sectional. We have rented this 6 years ago and it has not been replaced. We love the home and will book it again this coming year.

Family Reunion

The property at 44 Bradley Beach was perfect for our family. All couples were able to enjoy comfortable king size beds and there were plenty of bathrooms for all. Our boys loved the ping pong table and the whole group enjoyed the pool. The common areas were quite comfortable, inviting and large enough for all of us to enjoy together. We were not crazy about the amount of car traffic driving past to the public parking but the access made for an easy walk to the beach. Most shopping and dining out were a fairly close drive. We would definitely stay in this home again if we return to HHI as a large group.

Great Spring Break Location!

Very nice little park close by for the kids. The only thing I would recommend would be to cut down a few of the large trees to allow more sunlight to the pool for longer periods of time. But, just splitting hairs as this is a very nice house and we enjoyed our stay!

The management company is extremely responsive, even coming out on a Sat. night when we got there because we couldn't figure out the TV! The home is well equipped, very comfortable and very spacious. The kitchen has anything you could need and a great gas grill. Being pet friendly was great, however there is NO place outside for pets! Location is perfect, we had a great month!

August 2020 Stay

We really enjoyed the house! It was well decorated, plenty of space, pool was a lot of fun, and very close to the beach. We didn’t mind that it was by Driesden park which is used by many to get to the beach. The pool was fairly dirty upon arrival. There was a broken chair in the kitchen, dishes were dirty, showers could use more cleaning (mold in a few), and some home maintenance items that were annoying (outside shower constantly dripped, dry rot, pool net had a hole in it, broken items in garage, pool fountain didn’t work, bushes need to be trimmed in driveway, some plants by pool are very overgrown and dangerous for kids, fridge struggles to keep cold and probably needs to be repaired/replaced). Once you mentally get past this, which I ding’d in the rating below, the place was great. Family had great memories here and would definitely book again! Ah, and don’t forget to bring coffee filters! (Basket shaped).

I do see we were able to drop off a new Pool Skimmer pretty quickly as well as get the pool company back out about that dirty pool. Please always be sure to inform us of any and all issues upon arrival so we can address them as quickly as possible. I do hope to have your group back again at any of our VHHH Homes very soon!

March 2019 Stay

Hilton Head was nice, great weather. Pluses to this house: lots of bedrooms and baths, very close to the beach and park. Close to restaurants etc. pool was ok, couldn’t be heated and lots of leaves and dirt. Very shady back there can’t really sun yourself. We also had tent worms dropping all over and pooping, so we never really got to enjoy the pool. Asked to have something done about it, but no response. Finally asked if we could at least get it cleaned so our boys could at least swim in it once. They did. House needs lots of fixing, not as new as the pics look. Sliding doors don’t work well, washer and dryer were awful and noisy. Not enough fry pans. Felt like the cleaning ladies could’ve done a better job, bugs in closets. Pocket doors didn’t work either. Wasn’t horrible, but wouldn’t stay at this home again.

Hi Sherry, we are happy to hear that overall you enjoyed your time here in Hilton Head. Unfortunately, during the spring tent worms and pollen are inevitable and is something that is out of our control but as you mentioned we took the steps to have the pool cleaned so that you could utilize the pool. When you called about the landscaping issues you did not mention having any other issues otherwise we would have attempted to address these them while you were in house. These are fairly easy fixes and we have forwarded this information to the property manager in charge and we will have them addressed. Again, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time here in Hilton Head and we hope you will consider us again in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. Reviewer Comments: Property is located next to parking lot and easy access to beach walkway. Beach was very nice. There are beach chairs and toys available in garage. Beach cart had hole in bottom, so it has seen better days. Nice to have outdoor shower for rinsing.Home had plenty of space for 8 adults and 2 children. Home is a great location for grocery stores, restaurants and mini golf. Home is not very soundproof. Beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have TVs in rooms.Could not access front door with provided code, which was fixed next day. Alternate access through garage code was temporary fix. Window was leaking in water, which was fixed next day.Advised property management that Internet was slow. Their reply was there was no fix. However, we discovered 5g option for access ourselves. Work order to Spectrum was placed, but they never showed up. Router/modem should be replaced.Lots of vegetation near pool requires daily skimming.

The property actually had two modems which caused the internet to work slow. We were able to fix the internet issue internally which is why Spectrum did not go out to the property. Great potential

The location is great- quick scenic walk to the beach. Close to lifeguard area. Quiet neighborhood. The house was adequately stocked with kitchen supplies, storage, etc. the home is nicely decorated and comfy. The negative- the pool filter/pump/cleaner didn’t work for our entire stay leaving the pool unusable for 95% of the stay. We had pool cleaners come twice but it was quickly dirtied again. There is also a leak somewhere in the pool/plumbing which made us have to fill the pool daily which took hours and someone had to be there to make sure it didn’t overflow. Despite spending an hour everyday skimming and trying to clean the pool it was still too dirty for anyone to want to use majority of time. The grill was infested with roaches, which someone did come out to clean the next day. The pool patio drain was clogged/not working so there was always about 3 inches of stagnant dirty water on the patio. Landscaping is neglected only complicating the dirty pool situation. The fact that we couldn’t use the pool put a damper on the whole stay. We were offered free putt putt tickets for the inconvenience but we weren’t given them until our last evening of the stay so we didn’t get to use them. Overall my family felt the home was too expensive not to having a working pool. We could’ve saved a few thousand and went with a house without one. We were constantly told by the pool company that they would come the next day to “fix” the pool filter but they never did. It was very frustrating to deal with.

We are very sorry you felt the pool was unusable-because of the beautiful setting it is in, surrounded by lush landscaping and trees, there are bound to be leaves found in the pool. Also, when there are heavy rains, this also contributes to leaves, twigs and other natural debris. During your stay, there were quite a few strong afternoon t-storms that came through. It sounds like there was some miscommunication with the pool company- we see they were out to address your concerns each time you reported an issue. Clean, great location close to the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived this property was clean and welcoming. The bedrooms are all nice and spacious and the kitchen is great for a large group of people. The house is the last one in the row so it’s a nice little walk through a park to the beach. My family had a lovely week!I do have a few recommendations to make this property more accommodating in the future, or suggestions for future guests seeing this review:The one kitchen refrigerator was not enough to hold food and drinks for our party. I would recommend a second refrigerator in the garage or upgrading the one that is currently in the kitchen. It was small. There were no items for children to use at mealtime, no child sized plates, bowls, silverware, no high chair. Our grandchildren were using forks bigger than their heads. Just a few smaller items would be very helpful. The chairs are large as well, so our 2 and 4 year old had to stand up at all mealtimes and our 15mo had to sit on the countertop. A small high chair would’ve been amazing. The pool was lovely, however it was shaded 95% of everyday due to the tree line. The trees also drop TONS of acorns, blueberries, sticks and leaves in the pool which make it messy and also hurt to step on in the pool and on sidewalk. There was a lot of standing water and debris everywhere when we arrived and we had to do a lot of sweeping the week we were here. We did not really utilize the pool as much as we wanted to due to these issues. The garage did not have a pool table as I thought, perhaps that was older and I did not read where it was taken out. There is a ping pong table that is wobbly but it worked. The garage was very very dirty however. I know it’s a garage, but it definitely could have been cleaned up a bit. We utilized a few items that were probably left over from past guests, some beach chairs and a baby pool float.Even with all of the recommendations we still had an amazing time and the house itself is large,

Family Thanksgiving 2017

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family gathering from NC, VA, and FL for Thanksgiving. Pros: Great Location. Close to the beach with easy access. Accommodates several families. Very nice overall. Cons: Would have been nice to have the second fridge. It was broken down apparently due to lightening. With that many people/families, especially for Thanksgiving, food storage was challenging and we worked out of several coolers. Usually houses this size do offer a second refrigerator. Pool table was unusable due to no pool sticks. One was completely broke and the other two had no tips. Would have been nice on our rainy day to play some pool! House was clean but I wouldn't say spotless. It is a pet friendly rental which we greatly appreciate and needed, but it does show. Again, no major complaints. Management company was great and easy to work with. I would recommend and would stay again if needed.

No pool and no action vacation home

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well the house had a huge pool, we were told it is broken and the pump needs to be fixed. On the third day of the stay they allegedly fixed the pump. You could not even see the pool flier because it was so dirty, it took them till day five of our stay to clean it. We informed the management company and they acted all shocked and said we will have someone call you. What a customer service call, apparently it was the customers fault and the person calling me to solve the problem pushed the blame on us and said what do you want me to do? Spent a ton of money and had absolutely no access to the pool with three little kids. We were the ones to blame????? It is amazing you spend thousands upon thousands of dollars and if you make a change or want to check out or in five minutes early they are all over charging you. All the sudden a problem comes up and no one knows anything.

Hi, Michael, prior to your arrival we had a substantial storm that affected just about every pool on the island. We did our best to communicate with you prior to your arrival to make you aware and did alert the pool company to your situation. They responded as quickly as they possibly could and it does look like the situation was resolved We do hope you will consider staying with us again in the future and we thank you for choosing Vacation Homes of Hilton Head.

A wonderful place to stay!

A very roomy and beautiful house located very conveniently to the beach. We enjoyed everything about our week except for a loud tropical storm one night. Other than that everything was great!
