Coach Saban’s house

Lots of lights burned out and hot water ran out every day with 8 adults. READ what is included in the house because lots of things are NOT included- (ex: hair dryer). The extent of the rules and add on charges had me looking for Coach Saban constantly.

Beautiful, well-appointed home close to everything

The house is beautiful and well-appointed. The rooms are spacious, and the spaces are well-designed for multiple people. There were 8 of us, and the house was beyond ample. Easy walk to the beach, the park, and even putt putt golf. Would definitely visit again.

Guys Trip of 7

Home was exactly as you would expect. There were plenty of places for the guys to hang out as a group or even split off into smaller groups. It was great relaxing experience and will def be back in a future trip.

perfect golf trip

what a great place to stay and play. the only reason didnt give a 5 is because i couldnt find garbage bags when we were cleaning up prior to checkout. maybe put a box of bags under fridge somewhere instead of a bag that looks like someones toliettries. that said we will definately be looking to return in 2025. excellent place

Family vacation

Beautiful house ! Pictures are how it looks. Rooms are all big. Each couple had a beautiful comfortable bed and bathroom and a large closet. We walked to the beach everyday (8 min) away. We could have a get together in the living room or kitchen or outside with the pool and bar, lots of room. Had lots of fun downstairs with the putting greens and games. I love Hilton Head 😎

Family Holiday

This house was perfect for our family holiday get-together. Great space for lots of cooking and big family meals. Close to the beach, stores and golf. Would definitely stay there again.

Great House, Disappointing Pool and Spa Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the size and location of the house. We had paid for pool heat at booking but when we arrived there was no heat and both the spa and pool had not had maintenance/cleaning performed for some time. Called VHHHI soon after arrival...plus several more times....but no one ever came to add heat or clean and pool/spa....making both basically unusable for our stay, VHHH was responsive but pool contractor never showed up. Very disappointed grandkids and unhappy adults. Two refrigerators was a nice feature but absolutely no pantry storage for food...had to sit out on the counter. Kitchen is well stocked...owner should purge some things to make the space more functional. Living room is huge and comfortable...able to accommodate our entire family.

A Once Loved Home Is Now Suffering for Lack of Attention

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was once a well loved property. A large beautiful house that houses many people in a great location near Burke’s Beach. A pool, a hot tub, a grill and a multi-purpose game room for children to enjoy.Our family had a fabulous time at this house. Sadly, the house was delivered in not top quality condition. The deck was unswept and cluttered with debris from the pine trees. There was no broom or vacuum cleaner to even straighten it out over the week. Cigarette butts from former renters were left in ashtrays on the deck. The grill was in sad shape and needs replacing.The two things I asked for: Heat in the hot tub and for the hot tub to be clean. We even agreed to pay extra for the heat in the hot tub. The hot tub was not clean, even after the service man came to work on it. He never put water in it to top it off. It gave off a strong odor of chlorine and shot milky water from the jets.The real estate company never sent us a code to open the front door as promised. They had to be done after numerous phone calls to the office. The check out list was not sent until numerous texts were sent requesting it.They sent the wrong video for the house. It was a video for 3 other houses that they rent but not the house that we rented. There were extremely polite but incredibly incompetent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Thank you for sharing your home with us for our family vacation, we had a wonderful week and are appreciative! It was only a short walk to the beach where large sandcastles were built by all. The guys enjoyed a day golfing while the girls spent that day at the outlet mall. We grilled out most evenings while enjoying the pool. On the day we had some rain we enjoyed activities in the garage. Our only wishes are that the carpets would have been clean and that the kitchen would have had some salt, pepper and a few spices.

Thanksgiving family get away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 4 families spend Thanksgiving together at this property. It is so much better in person, pictures don't do it justice. It offered something for every age. The kids (and adults) enjoyed the garage game rooms, heat pool and hot tub. There are several comfortable and spacious living rooms on each floor allowing people to gather with similar interests. The house is large with 6 generous bedrooms, with their own bathrooms. My mother stated multiple times the kitchen was well equipped from dishes to pots and pans. It is a peaceful and tranquil retreat with a 5-minute walk to the beach and 1–2-minute walk to a park with playground. Great for a large family or multiple families.

We had to vacuum the living room - there was popcorn and other food on it. One shower and bedroom had black hair in the shower and on the carpet. Freezer in the laundry room was filled with crumbs of food. Open bags of M&Ms in a drawer- candy was loose. Dining room glass table top was covered in finger prints and sand. Maintenance was awesome. Came quickly and solved our issues. They were courteous and professional Our check out was 10 and cleaning crew was dropping their things off before 9 while we were trying to pack up

Second stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at this home. We love the space the home provides. Two bedrooms are on the main level with four bedrooms upstairs. The children were able to walk out the back door and jump in the pool. The beach is a short 5 minute walk from the home. One suggestion is to give the home a good solid cleaning. The hood over the stove was dirty and there was a lot of dust in the home (bedroom furniture, windows, steps. The basement was also very damp therefore we limited the time the children spent there for the putt putt, video machine, and fooseball machine. Dead spiders on the window sill.As we were cleaning for our departure, we found a pile trash (cups, candy wrappers, tissues, empty chip bags) behind the night stand. We knew it was a guest before us because we didn't have those items in the house for our consumption. Also, the grill needs to be cleaned or fixed. On both occasions, we had a difficult time getting the gas to stop flowing and fire was coming out of the grill for ten minutes.

Reviewer Comments: I will start by saying I was impressed by the rental process and the mobile app, check-in, and overall dealing with vacation homes of HH. Good customer service and responsive to issues. For the stay itself, see below: We were disappointed with the condition of the home, specifically: - There was a smoke smell for the first 3 days. Clearly someone smoked in or got smoke in the unit prior.Very unpleasant. Smell was gone by week end - the main sliding doors to the pool were near impossible to open until the technician came out day one- bikes were delivered to wrong location (marriott) - There was food/popcorn underneath the guest bedroom on main floor. - blinds all stained (looking in from back exterior) - the mini-fridge outside was broken for the duration of the stay-towel rack was broken in another bathroom-paper plate left on front porch, empty beer case left outside garbage room doorLocation as expected, a bit of a haul to the beach and lots of and to walk through! Lots of cars passing by on small street because marriott next door

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family truely enjoyed this lovely & spacious house. Excellent location & great accommodations. Loved the amenities & the fact that there's a bathroom for every bedroom. Game room in the basement was ideal for the youth & the pool was so convenient & refreshing especially when we were too relaxed to walk to the beach. The intimacy of this house was exceptional!
