Este maravilloso condominio penthouse es una de las mejores unidades, más contemporáneas y elegantes en el hermoso desarrollo del Paseo del Sol en Playacar. Mímese y tenga dulces sueños en las cómodas habitaciones con sábanas frescas y finas que lo acarician. No hay nada comparable a preparar deliciosas comidas y bebidas en una cocina bien equipada y amplios espacios. Las áreas de estar crean un ambiente rico para la relajación, pisos y baños de mármol pulido, aire acondicionado y ventiladores refrescantes bajo el techo rotativo de 20 pies de altura.

Los terrenos están equilibrados por una hermosa piscina de 90 metros de largo, una espectacular área de recepción de mármol, gimnasio en el lugar y cancha de tenis, y pasillos a lo largo del fantástico y altamente calificado Campeonato de Playacar Golf Club.

Most Amazing Vacation

This magnificent penthouse accommodated our whole family with spaciousness, cleanliness, safety and comfort. It’s a perfect location in a gated community with access to a private beach and all the ammenities of the adjacent hotel plus walking distance to the town of Playa del Carmen. Magda, our host, was a delight with superb attention to all the details and immediate responsiveness to any questions or requests. We will sure be coming back to enjoy more of the local attraction in this paradise, the Riviera Maya!

Great condo in playa car

We loved renting this condo at Paseo Del Sol. My family of three boys my husband and myself stayed here for 10 days over the Christmas holiday. We rented a car and were able to do many day trips around Playa Del Carmen. I wish I had met Magda at check-in as I believe she would have given us more of a feel for the area. I wish I had asked about renting bikes because it would be a nice area to bike around. I also wish there was an easier access to the beach. The card we were given did not allow us to get in except through the reef hotel. Also, the rooftop deck could be amazing, however, the one workable chair up there did not allow us to use it. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

The property of the condo is beautiful. The condo itself needs some updating however, we did enjoy ourselves. We requested a few upgrades and would be happy to return if the owner completed these requests. We loved the proximity of the property to Playa del Carmen, walking distance to many restaurants and 5th avenue. The locals are very friendly and we felt very safe walking throughout the town. The security guards and staff always had a smile on their face and were willing to help at all times.Magda was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to our needs.

Beautiful property, kids loved the pool. Condo was great too!

Magda was great to deal with. The condo was big and spacious. We loved the layout and the in-suite laundry was a plus. Walking distance to a Starbucks and several restaurants. A couple minor things were that the shower heads had very low pressure (possibly need to be replaced or cleaned more thoroughly), the hood fan did not work on the stove and the microwave worked but there the digital screen was not functional. Also a toilet seat in the bathroom was not attached and when I pointed it out I was accused of breaking it (which I did not). All of those things aside we had a great stay and would stay again. This place could be a 5 out of 5 if they replaced and/or fixed some of these things.

Paseo Del Sol - Coral 301

Paseo Del Sol is a great condominium complex in the heart of Playa Car. Grounds and pool are beautiful and well kept. Complex is short walk to beach and to 5th Ave for restaurants and shopping. Security and front desk staff are great. Coral 301 is a spacious 2 bdrm up to date condo with nice kitchen and appliances. It is immaculately clean! Great to have a washer/dryer and AC. Deck is nice and has a new weber grill - super convenient for cooking out. Magda Sanchez was WONDERFUL to work with. She was unbelievably accommodating and kind. Answered all our questions and checked in with us during our stay regularly to see how we were doing. She arranged our airport transportation to and from which was seamless. She was attentive to any issues that the condo had and also arranged for cleaning. She always had our best interest in mind. We would recommend booking thru Magda for any stay in Playa Del Carmen. Thank you Magda!

Paradise in Playacar

My husband and I stayed in Coral 301 at Paseo Del Sol for the month of January and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely complex. Magda Sanchez, the property manager, was a delight to work with and without a doubt the most efficient agent we have ever encountered. The condo itself was exactly like the pictures with it’s clean and polished decor. We did mention to Magda that the owner should consider a few upgrades with appliances (dishwasher and microwave), larger, more modern TV’s and a refitting of some kitchen drawers to maintain the superior quality of this penthouse unit. The pool area is absolutely beautiful and we never had to scramble for a lounge chair. The security team is friendly and always on hand to help, whether you need a taxi, more purified water, or extra golf balls!

Great place with nice pool and easy beach access

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is very spacious with a nice private rooftop area. Magda was very accommodating. She helped us arrange transportation back to Cancun. We would stay here again!

Beautiful condo and property

Been vacationing in Playa Del Carmen for many years and found this beautiful condo. Stayed 7 days in Nov and didn't want to leave. Location is perfect. Easy walk to 5th avenue for dinner and shopping, but usually took a cab back for $5. Went to the Reef twice, we paid the $53 per person for the all inclusive day, so nice to take advantage of the all inclusive a couple times, but not be stuck staying in the small room and eating at the resort for 7 days. The condo is very clean, beds very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Spent the morning and evening on the balcony enjoying the beautiful pool view. The property is very beautiful and well kept, very much like a resort, but with the benefit of having a spacious condo. Stayed at the pool one day, it's very large and well maintained, we were the only two people the whole time we were there. Very nice resort style pool. Magda was very nice easy to work with from beginning to end, she met us at the lobby and showed us the condo. She made sure we were comfortable and answered any questions before the left. I highly recommend this condo and we will be back!

Un endroit formidable et bien situé

Nous avons séjourné 5 semaines à ce condo de Paseo del sol, un endroit paisible dans un condo parfaitement bien situé. Le condo est super bien équipé et très bien décoré. Nous sommes près de la plage et du centre-ville. Bel endroit pour les enfants, salle d'entrainement, terrain de tennis et le personnel est présent et amical. En résumé un super séjour et un très bel accueil de Magda, juste un gros merci !

Overpriced for condition of unit

The unit in the pictures looked great however there were maintenance issues we encountered while there between coffee pot not working and blender that was cracked and chipped across the top. There were no garbage bags or paper towels when arriving. Magda was available and able to help with some of those items but I'd prefer not having to deal with issues when on vacation. There were issues with ants even before we went shopping to buy groceries and prepare food. Once we did prepare food and if crumbs on table, it became worse. Even when wiping everything down. We ended up departing the unit a day early.

Amazing Vacation

We had a wonderful time Although our visit was short we plan to return. Magda was very nice and met us at the property, showed us around and made sure we were comfortable. The facilities were beautiful.

Great time, great place, perfect location

We went to down to Playa for a wedding in April and this place was a perfect fit for us. Magda was a big help as she coordinated a ride for us from the Airport in Cancun, so we walked out and our ride was right there. She also met us at the place to square up with everything, as well as show us around Paseo del Sol (the building the Penthouse is in). We had 4 people (2 couples) and we each had a master suite on each end of the penthouse. Everything inside was in great shape and is obviously well taken care of. As for the atmosphere, the pool is nice and relaxing, a lot of room to have your own section. It's definitely more of a quite pool, but with access to the hotel's across the street it's a good fit. While staying there you can go over to the Reef Club with owners access but we ended up going to the Riu Palace, which in the next hotel down because that's where the wedding party was staying that we went down for. There the day pass was about $100 a person but it was a nice all-inclusive hotel. Overall I would recommend this place because it was very nice and great location, an easy ten minute walk to downtown which we did almost everyday and less than $10 taxi. Plus Magda was very helpful and easy to get a hold of.

Great place to stay - pictures and description were accurate. We loved Playa del Carmen - beautiful pool at the condo, beach was awesome, restaurants were fabulous and shopping was good. Magda was a pleasure to wrk with - she gave lots of good restaurant suggestions and was very prompt dealing with any concerns. The staff at the condo complex were very accommodating and pleasant. We highly recommend this vacation condo!!!

We had a wonderful time!!

gorgeous apartment and wonderful area

We stayed early September. Place was very clean and beds are super comfortable. The place is gorgeous. Magda,the property manager,provided an extra mattress for our little one and made us feel welcome. She also showed us how to watch shows in English and replaced a faulty coffee maker the next day. The pool is gorgeous and property well maintained. My husband loved the tennis courts. It's really about a 20 minute walk to Playa del carmen but taxis are frequent and inexpensive especially in the heat of day. We would definitely come back. Some minor area of improvements would be for the owner to equip the penthouse with a shaded area and some furniture. Currently, it's just 2 chairs and somewhat of a wasted space. If you want extra maid service other than the weekly, you should book a few days ahead as they're not always available . Also, it would be nice to have extra toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner samples provided. If you are more than 4 people, the Reef club, is extremely strict on have 1 'pass' for every 4 people. I would ask for the passes in advance as to not waste anytime. They're also strict on 9am-5pm and wouldn't allow me to walk through property so I could access the beach for a morning run.

Relaxing family holiday

My family of 5 had a great 11 days here after some less luxurious travel in Cuba and Costa Rica. It is situated in a quiet area, with easy access to a public beach or even quicker access via the Reef Club. It is away from all the night club or building construction noise found in Playa itself and so was a good place to relax. Our 2 bed penthouse was probably one of the best situated condos there, with good light and view. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, had great beds and was spacious. The wifi was excellent. The appliances , air conditioning, Windows and shower doors are all a little dated but the condo is 10 years old. Magda, the agent, is very easy to communicate with whilst booking, very welcoming on arrival and rushes to help out if there are any problems. She is very genuine and really does her best to ensure your stay is perfect. The condos are well maintained and the common areas are nice. We enjoyed the tennis court but the pool was chilly in January and the chlorine very strong..the security guards were friendly and Claudia at the front desk could not have been more helpful. We walked into Playa every day, it is an easy flat stroll. However I recommend a car for easy access to the supermarkets and sights.

A great month in Playacar

My husband and I had a great month staying at Paseo del Sol. Our condo was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was set up sufficiently. We cooked quite a few meals and made out just fine with the supplied pots, pans and dishes. The barbecue is charcoal. Something we haven't used in a long time. It worked fine once we got the hang of it. The master bedroom/bath was large with adequate closet space. The living room could use another couch or love seat. There were only the two of us, but if there was four people, seating would be limited. The main outdoor deck was spacious. The upper outdoor space is not really finished and we did not use it. There are loungers, however, for us it was to hot to sit up top. An umbrella would be an asset. We are avid golfers and loved the 5 minute walk to the golf course. We purchased a 20 round package at a very reasonable price. We only used the beach club once, which was nice, however, due to a tropical storm there was quite allot of seaweed and swimming was not that enjoyable. We used the awesome pool at the condo every day. It is maintained superbly. Very clean and because of the size of it, you never felt crowed in it. The grounds are in immaculate condition, with many different birds making their home there. The location is absolutely perfect. We could walk to Playa Del Carmen in about 15 minutes giving us access to the numerous shops and restaurants on 5th Avenue. Magda the property manager is an absolute gem. She kept in contact with us the whole time. Ensuring any concerns we had were taken care of. I highly recommend having Marbella the cleaning lady in once weekly, for the minimal cost, it is so worth it. She is awesome. If you are looking for a worry free condo rental, this is the place to stay!

location, location, location

We rented this condo a year in advance from Chris who resides in the US, so very easy to arrange details. Chris gave us an amazing deal for 6 weeks for $5500, electricity included. The property sold and Romaine honored the existing rental. He hired a new off site manager, Magda, who responded quickly to several issues like leaky toilet and plugged sink, as well as helping us figure out the stove. I suggested she might want to put together a manual with additional info, like being able to access the beach from the street just north of the condo. We had a wonderful 6 weeks. The curtains they just installed really helped keep the condo cool in the heat of the day and they even installed an additional one over the west slider door which we had covered with a sheet in the afternoon. The condo is large and nicely appointed. The kitchen could have a few more lids and accessories, but we got by just fine. And it was nice to see they put in a new patio table after we left. Could use new loungers on the rooftop, as one was broken, and maybe another table and chairs. We slept with the windows open and there is a surprising amount of traffic noise from the main street, which you wouldn't notice if you have the windows closed. And the master bedroom windows should really be fixed so that you can close them all the way without having to remove the screen and reach around to push/pull them closed the last few inches (which is a necessity if it is raining). Access to the reef club right across the street is wonderful. We were usually there by945 to make sure we got in. I think it might not be so difficult to get in since they don't allow coolers or for you to bring your own beverages, and the only way to eat/drink on site is to buy the daily pass for about $50. US per person which allows 9 to 5 eating and drinking. The condo staff were very friendly and responsive to all our needs, and the security is excellent. Great pool and tennis court, grounds are beautiful. Our family and guests were impressed with the wow factor of the condo, grounds, accommodations and location. We felt like we were living a "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous". It was certainly the most luxurious place we have stayed at.

A great condo in a great location!

Our time in Chris' condo in Paseo del Sol was fabulous! The condo surpassed our expectations and the location was amazing. We enjoyed lots of swimming and relaxing at the complex's beautiful pool and when less quiet time was desired, we quickly hopped across the street to the Reef Club pool (and swim up bar!) for the change of scenery. Having the option of an all-inclusive facility very nearby, eating in any one of the many local restaurants or preparing our own food in the condo suited our wishes perfectly, particularly as we had 4 kids on board. The amenities in the condo and in Paseo were plentiful and in great repair - we wanted for nothing but more time! We truly enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to return.

5 Weeks was too short of a visit for us!!!!

My husband and I stayed in this condo from January 4th to Feb. 8th. If we could have stayed the whole month of Feb., we would have. Had the best vacation ever. Chris and Michelle have upgraded the linens in the condo beautifully. Very rich and luxurious. Met some wonderful owners of other condos and will stay in touch with them until we see them again next year. Just wish that Chris would have had better dining furniture out on the deck. We had invited some other guests living at the complex over for drinks and munchies, but would have liked to entertain on the deck. As the photo shows, only 2 Mexican style chairs were available for use. Maybe a new set might be in order as the deck is perfect for eating all meals. The location of the complex is ideal!!! Across the street is the Reef Resort, which you can use. Can't buy food, but bringing lunch with us was perfect. The beach lounges were nice, especially with an umbrella. What a very nice amenity to come along with the rental of this condo. The staff and guards, who got us taxi cabs whenever we needed them, were fabulous. Ramon was a delight and when ever we needed something, like a big jug of water which can be brought to the kitchen, it was only a few minutes later and it was at our front door. Restaurants were everywhere and I thought they would be very crowded, but they weren't. Our favorite was Xulum. It is just as you leave Playacar and go into PDC, on the right. Very antique looking, with tree branches hanging all over it. Great Tala fish, have it, it is great. Also, up on 38th Street is a restaurant for breakfast and lunch, called something like the Monkey Cage, in English. Had dinner and it was great. Rent a car for a few days and go to Tulum and also Puerto Morales and eat at Pelicans, in PM. Great Cerviche!!!! Well, all I can say is give the owner an email and rent this condo. I am hoping that next winter comes quickly, so we can go back and have a fabulous time there.
