Villa with private pool and great panoramic views!!!

The villa has been restored in the typical style of the Garfagnana area (using the original construction materials: terracotta, wood, stone) and furnished with ancient furniture according to the local tradition. It has been completely renovated in the last 3 years and a pool has been added.
It will be rented for the first time from the season 2020. The location on an altitude of approximately 950m, grants a not too warm climate in the summertime (the temperature during the night is almost alsways not higher then 18C°. The property is an excellent destination for a relaxing holiday and visit the Garfagnana area with it charming villages, great scenic drives, walking-hiking (we suggest in the Orecchiella Natural Park) and other outdoor activities. It’s at the same time a good starting point to visit Pisa, Lucca and for a day at sea (the Versilia Riviera is 60 kms away). The house is accessed via a large panoramic terrace: from here you enter through the main door in the entrance hall of the villa finished in stone. At the lower floor we have the red marble terrace, the entrance hall of the villa, a living room with sofa and armchair, and a bedroom with double & single bed and a large bathroom with toilet/bathtub. The mid floor can be reached from both from the living room and the entrance room. From the living room, climbing stairs with iron and chestnut structure, you reach the upper floor where there are a double room, a room with 2 single beds, a bathroom with a spacious shower for common use of those two bedrooms. From here you can also access the garden, and the pool area. You can also access the mid floor from the entrance hall, through a stone staircase leading to the large living-dining room. Here is a large dining table and a spacious sofa, a fireplace, an equipped kitchen and a storage room. From this large room you can go to the garden and the pool area through a large arched glass door. From the dining-living room you can reach the upper floor via a stone staircase. On this floor we have a bedroom with a double and single bed, a bathroom with toilet/shower, a bedroom with three single beds and en-suite bathroom with toilet/shower. This room has access through a glass door to the solarium area of the garden. From here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Apuan Alps. Outside areas of the villa include the terrace and the garden. The large red marble terrace is equipped with sun umbrella, deck chairs, and outdoor sofa. Beautiful view over the valley and the village of Sassorosso. The garden is on two levels. On the first level there are the outdoor dining area, equipped with a large table, umbrella and living area. Here is also the swimming pool (10x4 m, 1.40 m deep - open from begin May to end October). Through external red marble stairs you reach the upper level of the garden entirely dedicated to the solarium and equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas, this is the most panoramic area that enjoys the enchanting view of the Apuan Alps. There is public parking at 100 meters from the property, you can drive to the house (30 meters from it) to load/unload the luggage. The main nearby town is Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and has many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, supermarkets and weekly open market on Thursday. Grocery store and restaurant are available in the village of Villa Collemandina 4,5 kms from the villa. More shops and restaurants are available in Castiglione di Garfagnana (7 kms far away) en Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (13 kms). Here is also big supermarket (open every day from 8:30 to 20:30 and on Sunday from 9 to 20) near Gallicano (23 kms from the villa). The golf course of Golf Club Garfagnana is 15 km far away. Tennis lane and horse riding at 5 kms. Suggested restaurants: Osteria Bonini - Castelnuovo Garfagnana, Ristorante Il Pozzo - Pieve Fosciana, Ristorante Il Casone - Casone di Profecchia, Ristorante da Sandra - Fabbriche di Vallico, Pizzeria Il Castello - Castiglione Garfagnana Tennis lane at 3km.
