Perfect spot for Bolton Landing!

We had a great stay here for our girls weekend getaway trip. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Communication with the host was excellent, she was responsive and made sure we felt at home. It was a quick walk to the shops and restaurants!

We had a fun week, Nancy helped make sure of that. The house was great, well stocked, with plenty of room for the 6 of us, including a loft where the little ones could watch TV. And it was only a 5-7 minute walk to the middle of town. Nancy was a great host, ready to answer any questions we had right away. So nice, we’ve already booked for next year, we can’t wait to get back.

Great stay

Had a wonderful weekend stay at Nancy’s place in Bolton Landing. Place is clean, well stocked and walking distance to town. Communication was great and very open to any of your questions or needs. Would definitely stay again!

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay in the Lake George area at this house. It is on a quiet street yet a short walk to the restaurants in Bolton Landing. Nancy was an an excellent host, communication was prompt and property details in the listing were accurate. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect location

The house was perfect for our 2 families. The kids loved the loft upstairs. Plenty of room for everyone. House was well stocked and even had eggs and English muffins. Quick walk to the Main Street with plenty of options for food and parks. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect House for Our Family

The house was great for our family with 4 kids ages 1-5. A lot of sleeping arrangements and perfect walking distance to town. Host was very easy and timely to communicate with and very friendly. Overall a wonderful trip and experience with our stay at the house!

A Happy Vacation Place !

Nancy went above and beyond the call of duty to meet our every need. The linens were plentiful and the kitchen well supplied with cookware and cutlery and china. The location was an easy walk to town. We had a wonderful time and the week just flew by.

Beautiful home

Nancy was so receptive and responsive, met us on arrival. Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay, easy walk into town with great spots to visit. Only tip is don’t let you leave tall guest stay on the second floor sloped ceilings were challenging for ours tall people.

Family gathering for wedding

It was so nice to be able to stay with the whole family in a relaxed environment! We were able to catch up. The kids were able to play. Breakfast and late night conversations were something you just couldn’t have in a hotel. Lots of memories made !

Great host and close to everything

Nancy was a fabulous host with great communication and the house was perfectly situated just a block or two from the Main Street of Bolton. The house was as pictured and very clean with plenty of beds for our family (from age 9 to 76). Nancy was so kind as to stock the house with toiletries, spices and items for breakfast, like English muffins, coffee and eggs. We enjoyed being so close to town and walking to shops, restaurants and the lake. Overall it was a great stay at a great house. We would be happy to stay here again!

Great location in Bolton Landing

The house is located a short walk from downtown Bolton Landing. It is a short 10 - 15 min ride to Lake George Village. Great location close to lots of activities in the area. It was very clean and well stocked with pots and pans, spices, and a nice grill. Worked well for our family with lots of bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nancy was a great host.

Great location and owner of the house!

Nancy was so accommodating and easy to talk to. Got back to us quickly with questions. Came over to say hi and our kids loved her immediately. They were excited any time they saw her. Great location and house with great space. Kids stayed in the loft and adults on the first floor. Didn’t even have to use the 2 upstairs bedrooms. Plenty of room.

An extended weekend in Bolton

This cozy house accommodated all the needs of our group of five ladies. The two downstairs bedrooms were perfect for the ladies who preferred not to climb stairs. The house’s two bathrooms had great lighting for applying makeup, a must foThe showers never ran out of hot water and had good pressure for rinsing all that shampoo from your hair. House was impressively well stocked with towels, toiletries

Perfect getaway lake house

We have rented this house before, and will rent again. The owners are very nice and accommodating, always checking in to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The house is in a perfect spot off the main road, but not too far away from town. We love the fact we can access all that Bolon offers. The house itself very clean,and comfy for our family, it had everything we needed inside. The grill and fire pit are a plus,who doesn't love to grill and then smores for the kids. For us its the perfect getaway with family in a lakeside community, which wouldn't be possible without Nancy. Thanks!

Lovely home, great communication

Nancy's home is great for a family to stay in. My husband and I spent a weekend up at the lake with my parents, my sister and brother in law. We all had our own space but also had space we could be together. We loved that it was so close to town and the Sagamore that we could walk anywhere, but we didn't have excess noise keeping us awake at night. Nancy's communication was wonderful and when we had a minor issue, she responded quickly and took care of the problem immediately.

Perfect location , short walk to everything

This place is one of the nicest places we've rented. 8 beds for people to sleep and tastefully decorated. Nancy thinks of everything for your stay. Myself and another forgot toothbrush and razor. Look under bathroom sink and they were there. Definitely repeat as long as Nancy has this property. Great fire pit for the night. Oh, the pictures don't show how nice this place is. Much bigger then I expected. Thanks Nancy

best location

Myself (retired) and my son, daughter-in law, and two granddaughters (2 and 4) were up for a 4 night stay for a wedding. The house was super clean and perfect for quiet sleeping for grandma upstairs and two bedrooms for the young family downstairs. There is a sweet family room upstairs for watching shows and playing with toys. The screened-in sun porch was perfect for our meals and more play. Outdoors could have been a little more open -- there is seating space and a BBQ, but it is on a hill with no real room for the girls to play safely. Good for adults. But we were so busy going places that was OK. So much for the girls to do -- a conservation museum for kids, the public beach and playground, etc. You can walk to town, which is great, yet it's quiet. We had a super time. Nancy was always checking in with us and answered all our questions. All in -- good for our small family.

Fabulous first time at Lake George thanks to Nancy!

Our group of 10 (family and friends, 7 adults 3 children ages 12 and 16) just returned from our first time at Lake George. Since none of us had ever been there we had to rely on the VRBO listing page and reviews. The reviews were rave ones and this one is no different! The description of the house was spot on! I can honestly say that I have never rented a home/condo that provided as much as Nancy's home. She really does think of everything and was in touch personally or via text throughout the week. She contacted me before our trip to see if we needed help planning our activities. Our large group had many interests and the location of this house was an important factor in choosing it. The house is in Bolton Landing which is a 15 minute drive to Lake George Village. Bolton Landing is so quaint and adorable I wish we stayed for 2 weeks so we could experience everything it had to offer! As promised we could walk everywhere in Bolton Landing: restaurants, shops, 2 beaches with concerts in the park at one of the beaches, kayaking around Sagamore Island, the Adirondack Winery - fun wine tasting with Shelby! the Friday Farmers' Market and we took a 2 hour cruise with a fun and informational tour of Lake George with Captain John and his wife Anita. Their boat is docked at the Sagamore Resort and you can contact them by googling Indian Pipes Lake George. Nancy contacted them for us and we took it from there! We went to a local ropes and zip lining course which was a 12 minute drive from the house. Once we all got our bearings we were able to go our separate ways to do different activities. One day, 5 of us went to the Saratoga Racetrack and the others went to Cooperstown! Another day, 4 of us went for a scenic drive and found the quaintest ferry at Fort Ticonderoga - the FortTi Ferry. We soon realized that we were at Lake Champlain and Vermont was a quick ferry ride so we went to Vermont for lunch! We headed to Lake George Village to parasail, shop, eat and watch the fireworks on Thursday night. www.lakegeorgeguide.com is full of information & coupons. We spent many nights around the firepit that Nancy had thoughtfully set for us along with 10 adirondack chairs. We enjoyed many relaxing hours on the screened-in porch just chatting, reading or doing crossword puzzles. Nancy provides a variety of board games and cards. We whole-heartedly recommend Nancy's home for your Lake George area vacation. We can't wait to go back!!! THANKS NANCY!!!!

Lake George at its best in Bolton landing

Great house to stay we had four adults and four kids. Even in rainy days plenty of rooms to spread out in. Easy access to everything. Extremely clean home and well maintained. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay!

This lovely home in Bolton Landing is a perfect setting in a fabulous location for your pick of relaxing and recharging (on the peaceful screened-in porch surrounded by wildflowers or at the very walkable, nearby lakeside park) or having adventures hiking, biking, swimming, exploring, craft beer tasting, etc.. And Nancy is a wonderful host! We hope to return!!

Fun week

It was clean and well maintained. It was on a quiet road away from Bolton Landing chaos. Owner gave us some good inside tips for swimming and kayaking. We had a great time with no problems

My home is on a quiet street with mountains behind it and has a great homey, relaxing feel. It is just a 2 block walk to town and everything it has to to offer. I love sitting on the screened in front porch or by the fire pit.
