Great location!! Cleaning Crew lacking
Let’s start with the Pros: Great location. Short walk to the beach, across the parking lot from one of the pools, being able to fish out your back door. That all was really nice to have and be able to do. Also the resort is in the middle of everything, so shopping and food is really close..
Now for the Cons: overall the unit was not clean when we arrived. There was sand still on the tile and all in the rug in the kitchen. All the carpet was soaking wet where it was steam cleaned but the water was not pulled out. It took 1.5 days for it to dry out. There were wads of hair in the carpet upstairs that apparently was not cleaned at all. The air could not be turned below 72, which I understand but still did not like. The same AC unit apparently cools the lower and upper, but the upper bedrooms were always hot due to small volume of air coming out of the vents. This was not comfortable at night when trying to sleep. We could not use the back patio due to the screen on the door being completely torn off and the porch was full of mosquitoes and gnats.. we did not have a garbage can in the kitchen at all. Called housekeeping and they never brought us one for the entire week. We had to tie the garbage bags to the drawer.. unit needed some general maintenance upkeep. Leaking shower heads, loose railing, etc.. overall, with some general upkeep and a better cleaning job between rentals, this place would really nice.
