Comfortable home.

Enjoyed our stay in this property. Convenient to the beach (walked with stroller and grandson) and to the highway. Well equipped kitchen and the rooms and linens were very clean.

This is a great place. The view is beautiful, the place is well suited for a great getaway. The owners were great to communicate with as well. Highly recommend!

The home was a perfect location to enjoy the sites along the nearby beach!

Beautifully furnished. Loved watching the waves along the beach and the sky in both am and pm from the front deck. We had a hummingbird that perched on a branch across the street every day - What a treat! Beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy breakfast every day and the grill was used the final evening to create a delicious feast. Having filtered water from the fridge saved us from having to buy extra bottles. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home! We hope to come back someday.

You can't go wrong!

Kelly's property has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. They generously stocked everything from toiletries to pantry staples. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The best part is the location and the incredible view! The neighborhood is very quiet and easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and market. We had a couple small glitches but these were managed well with prompt communication.

Great place near the beach!

Owners were very helpful and responsive to any questions- even when the answer was obvious! Kitchen was great!! Enjoyed the stay very much.

Better than we expected

Great place nestled in a quiet and quaint neighborhood just a short walk from the beach and lots of restaurants and shopping. Property had all the amenities and was very comfortable. Owners and management were extremely responsive and we highly recommend the place. Sunsets from the deck were spectacular!!!

Paradise!

We fell in love with Cardiff staying here in their lovely home. The view was spectacular. It was even more beautiful than the photos and we would have gorgeous sunsets each day. The house itself is spacious and clean with a kitchen outfitted for cooking. The location is great! 10 minute walk to the beach and nearby spots like Seaside Market (famous for their tri-tip!). Ideal for spending a lot of time outdoors, either by the ocean or on running paths in San Elijo Lagoon. The hosts are wonderful and incredibly responsive and warm. Would highly recommend staying here!

Christmas in Cardiff

Please list our 5 star review with all the rest. This was by far the very best experience we have had with a rental property. This was a wonderful house for us to celebrate Christmas with our adult children. The house was so well equipped we did not need anything else. Owners were great and very helpful. Successful Surf Trip with 3 year Old

This is a great spot for a family basecamp adventure in Cardiff. We were thankful for the respite from the rain and enjoyed the good value and proximity to the beach as well as the park where we were able to walk easily with our 3 year old. The home was clean and the Kitchen well stocked. With views to the ocean. We'd stay here again.

Great location & View in Quiet Neighborhood

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property! Some of the BEST parts about the rental are its views of the ocean, location close to the town of Cardiff and the walking trail (We walked or ran every day), and its proximity to a couple of beaches (We did drive, not walk. They are 1/2 - 1 mile away and you have to cross Highway 101). In addition, the owners have so many amenities in this townhouse. We found the kitchen completely stalked with paper goods, cleaning supplies, and basic cooking needs including seasonings, coffee, filters, tea. All we really had to buy were the perishables that we were going to consume while there! There were plenty of bath and beach towels. Because we were there for a soccer tournament, we also appreciated the availability of the beach chairs! (2 low slung folding and 2 camping style canvas). There is not a yard at this townhouse but the view from the upper level balcony was wonderful and the ocean breezes delightful. My only caution would be to anyone concerned about stairs. There are stairs from the street parking spot up to the front door. The two main bedrooms are on the entrance level and then there is another flight of stairs up to the top level where the common living areas are and the third bedroom and laundry room. The parking spot behind the townhouse opens to this top level. The neighborhood is quiet and not much traffic. We would definitely stay here over Encinitas or Carlsbad!! Thanks for a great rental!!

Perfect for our family

This was the perfect place for our family’s annual summer vacation in the Encinitas area. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I love that it was a short walk to the beach, the Cardiff Seaside Market, Starbucks, and restaurants. We hope to come back next summer.

Terrific home and location. We plan to come back to it.

The home had a lovely ocean view and nice front decks, walk to town and beach location. Cardiff is still that village feel. The house was clean and kitchen was well equipped. Could have used beach chairs and more towels in general. Kitchen is a nice remodel and good gathering spot, great room has an open cottage-like feel with ocean views. All the beds were supportive and comfortable. All in all a wonderful experience.

Great house, great view.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the view of the ocean from the entire main floor is terrific. Every evening we loved watching the sunset. The house is well equipped and has very comfortable beds. Good location, easy walk to the beach, and our grandkids loved the local park and playground. I would highly recommend this house for anyone wanting to stay in Cardiff-by-the-Sea.

Wonderful Condo!

The property was clean and spacious! It was a great area with a short walk to the beach and then can walk or run for miles. Easy access on and off the I5 with grocery stores within 10 minutes away. We enjoyed watching the sunset every night on the patio. I would definitely recommend this property.

Terrific View

A nice and perfect house to stay in Cardiff. It has everything you need, the kitchen is fully equipped. You can easily walk to Seaside Market and some other great restaurants, cafés, bars and of course the beach within a few minutes. We had such a wonderful time there and enjoyed the daily ocean view and its stunning sunsets. We would come back at any time.

Gorgeous get away in beautiful Cardiff!!

Beautiful property, absolutely perfect for our family of four (with two teenagers). We felt right at home, the furnishings are lovely and comfortable, and there was every amenity we needed to make our week long stay completely enjoyable. The location is wonderful for walking to the beach, the local grocery store (Seaside Market - I highly recommend!!), Starbucks, the Pipes diner for breakfast, any number of restaurants for dinner, and is a very short drive to any number of seaside towns that are fun to visit and shop at. The weather was a lovely break for us from Phoenix, and we thoroughly enjoyed the sound of the ocean as well as the view from the balcony and the living room every day/night. We will definitely be back as often as possible. Andrea, the property manager, was a pleasure to deal with and is super easy to reach with any questions. Thank you for proving such an amazing place! We will certainly cherish this vacation.

Cool ocean breeze

We loved staying in Cardiff. It was an easy four block walk to the beach and we could even hear the ocean waves from the unit. We had an unobstructed ocean view from the top floor. Restaurants and the upscale Seaside Market were even shorter walks than the beach. The property was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with kitchen essentials. We didn't have to rely on street parking as there were two spaces for alley parking. Linens and towels were in good shape and the furniture looked relatively new. It was very easy to access I-5 from a less-traveled section Manchester Drive and Encinitas and Solana Beach were short drives. We would definitely stay at this property again.

We raised our family in Fountain Valley, Calif. When our children became surfers, we vacationed often in Cardiff, enjoying the outstanding beaches and excellent surfing conditions. Our neighborhood is known as the walking district in Cardiff. Our home is within 1/2 mile of Seaside Market, the library, many restaurants, shops, and of course the beaches. We look forward to retiring in the beautiful twin home we were able to purchase in 2008. We were renting the home out full time until a few years ago, when we decided to convert it to a vacation rental. Now we are able to enjoy it ourselves with our children and grandchildren whenever it is not rented.

Cardiff is a wonderful, laid back beach community. We have always felt welcome, and relaxed when we arrived to vacation. Because we enjoy staying here ourselves whenever it is not rented, we furnished the home with very comfortable beds, and quality kitchen equipment. The home has wonderful ocean views from the living room, dining room and kitchen. We love this place, and know you will too!
