Wanderlust: cerca de la playa en el histórico distrito de Tybee.

La casa es una casa de playa original de 1932 ubicada en el distrito histórico de Tybee. La casa se encuentra a poca distancia de restaurantes, restaurantes y la playa (10 minutos a pie). Se proporcionan sillas de playa, toallas, bicicletas, cubos, paraguas y refrigerador. Tenemos una cocina completamente equipada con especias, etc. Hay una lavadora y secadora para su conveniencia también. Queremos que se sienta como en casa cuando esté en Tybee.

La casa está ubicada en North Beach (menos concurrida). ¡Hay una ducha al aire libre también! Este alquiler se encuentra en el piso inferior de la casa, que proporciona un fácil acceso.

Wanderlust ocupa el piso inferior. Hay dos dormitorios y un futón en la terraza acristalada, que se encuentra al otro lado de la cocina y ofrece una pequeña distancia entre usted y su invitado. Hay estacionamiento para dos vehículos también.

Ideal Beach Getaway

We loved staying at Wanderlust! It was perfect for our family and the proximity to North Beach was great. We rented a golf cart to use for getting around the island, but the beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away from the house. The washer and dryer definitely came in handy and we loved being able to rinse off in the private outdoor shower after a day at the beach. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

Overall a solid property. The house is in a good location and beds were pretty comfortable. Keep in mind that the property is older and could use a deep professional cleaning (noticed dust, spider webs, hair etc.) When we first arrived we also noticed that there was a package of opened pretzels sitting in the back room, old poptart wrappers, & the dryer also had a rag and linens. While these are minor things, that does reduce our rating as a whole.

Great and family friendly location

We loved our spring break stay here. Family of five with three young boys. Listing is exactly as advertised and location was perfect for us. We brought our bikes and it was a short 5 min ride to the beach. Located on the north side of the island which is much less crowded, but still lots of great shops, restaurants and other necessities. The rental was very well stocked with all basic needs for a week stay which made it very comfortable. We would love to come back.

Perfect vacation house

The house was absolutely beautiful. It was there perfect vacation house. The beach was so close. The owner of the home was amazing. She had beach towels,a cooler, back pack, boogie boards and sand toys for the kids. She had everything set out for us. There was absolutely nothing that we needed? The area was quite so we weren't bothered with crazy parties. We are definitely going to book this house Everytime we go to Tybee!

Wanderlust made wonderful!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The place was peaceful, very convenient to everything Tybee and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Only had a couple issues, most that wouldn’t have been issues with more complete info in the app because we didn’t see the extra info hanging on the side of the fridge at first. Check-in instructions in the app did not explain how to lock the keypad. And it looks like it was replaced since they wrote the info on the fridge because that said to hold down the lock button but the current keypad did not have a lock button. We figured out that it was the # key you hold down to lock it. Only other real issue was the keyed lock on the bedroom door with the two twin beds. May not be an issue for most people and I know many rentals need to have keyed locks on doors so they can store their things but this could be a real safety concern for a toddler who accidentally locks it or like our child who has ASD and locked himself in there during one of his sensory overload episodes and we would have had no way to unlock the door if there was an emergency. Also it’s a little confusing but there is an upper unit that enters from the other side and it explains on the fridge that the back area is only used by the upper unit. And it was my understanding that the outdoor shower and area to the left and is only used by the bottom unit. If you walk to north beach it’s not far but the road is busy during peak times so be careful.
Easy walk to North Beach if you want to avoid parking fees.
Sunrise/Sunset is magical at North Beach. You have the sun in front and the lighthouse behind you!

Cute rental, needs a few updates

The house was decorated very nice and is in a great location, beach towels and chairs provided. There was a fairly strong mold smell, especially in the kitchen, and the cabinet over the stove had water damage and seemed to be responsible for a lot of it. It was clean besides that, didn't see any bugs. The door lock needs to be replaced, it spins around instead of catching. The check in instructions said to turn it right to unlock but you really turn it left so it took a while to check in. On the last night I couldn't get the door unlocked. We had to call the property owner after 30 minutes of trying to open the door, very late at night, and it still wouldn't unlock when she told us how to reset it. Tried for 10 more minutes while she headed over and it unlocked for her on the first try. I had to try to lock it 3 times the next day when we left because it wouldn't catch.

Tybee Island stay

We have never been to Tybee island and really enjoyed how friendly the people of the island were and how great the food was. The house is very private and quiet with great neighbors.

This is a great historic house near the beach and Tybee Lighthouse - less than a 10-minute walk. We are within walking distance to many restaurants and located on the quiet end of North Beach. I supply beach chairs, cooler, and general kitchen needs to make your stay comfortable.

This is a roomy home that provides an extra sunroom for sleeping or extra space for the kids to play. We also have an outside shower.
