Beach House ¡La cosa real! Directo frente a la playa!

Algunas casas están en la playa, pero no todas son casas de playa. Esto es lo real integrado en la duna. ¡Sal de la cubierta hacia la duna y da unos pasos más en el agua! El frente de la playa de la casa tiene una fachada de 40 pies con todas las puertas y ventanas corredizas de vidrio. Una gran vista desde todas las habitaciones. ¡La casa tiene una terraza privada en la duna que se abre hacia la gran bahía de Chesapeake y la playa de nueve millas de largo! La duna brinda algo de privacidad de la playa pero aún así ofrece una gran vista. Hay un camino privado arenoso corto de 10 pies que conduce desde la parte posterior de la cubierta sobre la duna directamente a la playa. Perfecto.

La casa principal tiene dos habitaciones con camas queen y dos baños. Además, durante los meses de verano, está disponible la "Suite Inlaw" (con entrada privada). Cuenta con una segunda cocina, sala y dormitorio con cama queen size. ¡Es perfecto para los miembros adicionales de la familia!

¡El wifi es fuerte! Ofrecemos un televisor "Smart" de 55 pulgadas de 4k (amueblado con hulu y amazon) y mucha brisa marina. A solo una milla de la interestatal con fácil acceso a todos los puntos, Norfolk, VA Beach, Hampton, Williamsburg, incluso DC. Abierto, luminoso, aireado, nivel de dunas, todo un piso, ventiladores de techo y aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones. Cocina totalmente equipada, horno a gas y calefacción central. Algunos perros están bien con aprobación y tarifa por mascota.

Cute little beach house

I stayed there with my family in August. Beach was peaceful and the sunsets were beautiful. The house had all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

Week-long Stay

The house was great and we will stay there again. It was about a 25 minute drive to the boardwalk, but there is a grocery store right down the street where we were able to get everything we needed for the week.

Pre deployment getaway

The place is well kept and had everything that would be needed. The proximity to the beach is literally right outside the rear door. Great view.

Did not impact our stay as house was secure from winds and rain. We loved the fact that the beach was not crowded and so close to the house - very easy to access. Beds were comfy and big screen tv was great to watch the Olympics.

Awesome vacay!

We all greatly enjoyed our stay. This fabulous beach house is steps away from the beac right over the dune. It was very relaxing to sit out on the deck and watch the ships go by. We cooked on the grill last night and enjoyed sitting bayside for dinner. The sunrise this morning was stunning! Thank you for providing kayaks for my family to use and the effortless check in procedure 😊

Best Little Beach House

Hands down our most memorable vacation to date! The Owner actually came to say hello to us and the property managers Amanda, Cindy and Brian were so responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. The view is amazing, the back deck is perfect for coffee and a beautiful sunrise. The huge windows make waking up easy, when you open your eyes that beautiful view is mesmerizing. We have already planned our trip next year and we will be booking with Great Coastal again! Don’t hesitate just book it and thank me later!!

Nice being right by bay, water. House was pretty basic. could use better kitchen items and more comfortable furniture. There is no way to lock sliding glass doors back of house from outside, just a wood 2 x 2 board inside to keep it locked.

Peaceful and private beach house

We spent four nights here at the end of a two week road trip. The beach house was wonderful. We travel frequently both domestically and internationally. This house was by far one of the cleanest places we have stayed. The property manager called us the day of arrival to welcome us and answer any questions. The house is very colorful with amazing views of the beach. As the description states, it is directly on the beach. The beach is in a residential area on the bay. It is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and just relaxing. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we really had no reason to leave the area. We even found a great local restaurant a short walk down the beach on a fishing pier. For anyone who wants more activity, it is a short and easy drive to Virginia Beach Boardwalk and just a short drive to Busch Gardens Williamsburg which we visited the day we checked out. The rental far exceeded our expectations!

Cozy & quaint is what comes to mind. Just had a welcoming feel. Could use some deep cleaning, but otherwise clean and a handrail coming up the front steps would be helpful. But once through the front door you feel as though you’ve stepped into a very secluded, comfortable home.

Short get away

Overall, what I wanted. Small cottage on the beach. Very clean and well equipped. Because it was early spring could not take advantage of the water. Some nights they were high winds and the windows in the bedrooms were not sealed well. Had to rig up a plastic bag to keep out the wind.

Great place

There were some minor issues that could have been taken care of esp for paying that much pay little more attention to details we only had one of the umbrellas that was supposed to be on the porch the towel holder on door is broke path could be taken better care of kept getting poked walking through and the bench to sit on to look at beach is broken sitting there a broken wine glass was right by path from a previous wasn't picked up but lovely house I enjoyed the stay would reccomend. The kayaks made the stay even better thanks.

Just fabulous

It was a fantastic vacation. The beach was super private and the house was just perfect for our family - 2 adults & 2 kids. Loved the deck and the kayak. You get views of both - gorgeous sunrise and sunsets, beautiful shallow and friendly waters. We loved the house, our stay and the property management.

Definitely on the beach but note it is on the bay not directly on ocean which makes the waves more calm and friendlier for kids. Bathrooms are a bit small and the beds are small. Couch is not comfy enough to sleep on but the reclining chair is. Loved that there was a hose to rinse off sandy feet before going into house. Also close to some good food. Manager was very friendly and available.

Perfect beach bungalow

We loved this little house right on the dune on the Chesapeake! There were 2 kayaks we used every day. It had everything we needed, although the grill was not useable, but the owner now knows and am sure it will be replaced! We also rented the attached apartment, which was equally wonderful! Will be coming back!

How is this place rated so well??

Location is great, right on the beach. Just steps away. However, it's surrounded by cactus and sharp plants. The fire pit is literally surrounded on all sides by something that can cut you. The house itself was very small but totally fine if it wasn't so grimey. It would not take that much money to renovate but it has shotty construction and everything was sticky. It says the house has ac but they only have window units. It was in the low seventies when we were there and the window units were barely keeping up. There were old dirty bed linens balled up in the closet. The final straw was the constant helicopters flying extremely close over the house all night. Would not recommend. Sorry but no.

I personally remodeled the bungalow opened it up with expansive views and airy kitchen and made it , well a beach house. And the attached large in-law suite with separate kitchen, laundry, smart tv and beach access is a great place for anyone not just in laws .

Cindy and her group will take care of you and after you stay there once you will be hooked

Its the real thing the beach house you always dreamed of. There is no separation beween you and the beach open the front door and there it is, you flow right into the deck the dune and the beach

This property is unique because of the great views, deck sitting on the dune and complete inlaw suite! There is plenty of room for family get togethers and plenty of space to "get away".
