Enjoy peace and quiet on the secluded Big Cedar lake. Big Cedar lake is a private lake. It will be common to see loons, beaver, and many other wetland creatures. The lake is great for kayaking (kayaks provided), swimming, and fishing. Common species of fish include, northern pike, large mouth bass, crappie, perch, bluegill, and white fish. Our home is recently renovated and host great veiws of the lake. Close to town for shopping, 30mbps internet, mini split heat / cooling, outdoor security system. the home sits on a hill above the lake giving you a great view from the house and deck.

Cottage on Big Cedar Lake

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to go! The cottage is nicely remodeled and clean. The host, Matt, was very quick to respond and answered all questions we had prior to and during our stay. It is a great lake for swimming! We spent a lot of our time on the deck which overlooks the lake. Would visit again!

Pretty and peaceful

We had a great time in the house at big Cedar Lake. The house is very spacious and clean and the view on the lake is beautiful. It was so nice to sit on the dock under the umbrella to read, swim and go out on the kayaks. The little village nearby had a good supermarket and some restaurants. We had a wonderful time.

Big Cedar Lake is a hidden gem. Not over run with cottages and boats, quiet, and calm. Great swimming off the dock. Property is great, set back 50 yards from the lake, open space concept with large windows and deck over looking the lake. Very private- we barely saw anyone the whole week we stayed. Great experience

Words cannot describe the natural beauty of this property. Woodlands meets wetlands at this beautiful lake home. The house is impeccable, with everything carefully curated and available for your stay. LOVED IT!!

Private Lake House

Spent a week at the lake house and had a great time. The kids loved fishing off the dock and the kayaks available for use were a big hit for both the kids and adults. The place was clean upon arrivals and communication with the owner was prompt when needed. Location was great as it is pretty secluded at the lake house but only a 10 minute drive to town with some good place to eat and a grocery store for supplies. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway on the lake.

Much need vacation

The area and lake was very peaceful, morning coffee on the deck listening to the birds. Afternoon kayaking and sunbathing on the deck and nights eating dinner on the deck with family or playing games. Kitchen and the living room open with a beautiful view of the lake. Matt has thought of everything you will need including the kayaks which was a great hit with the family. Looking for a quiet but yet close to stores this house is it. Hope to return in the years ahead

Lovely Home on Peaceful Lake

We had a very relaxing stay at the house on Big Cedar Lake. The home was nicely decorated and super clean and new!!! Comfortable, air conditioned , stocked with almost everything you will need . Great views of the peaceful lake from the large deck. Lots of light and comfortable furniture. We fished of the dock and kayaked nearly every day! The lake feels like your own private lake. Quiet neighborhood. Grocery store and a few restaurants near by. Easy drive into either Battle Creek, Kalamazoo or Hastings too. Husband and sons golfed at nearby courses. Was a nice much needed relaxing vacation .
