Nuestra casa histórica está registrada en la lista de preservación de propiedades históricas nacionales federales. Y el viejo adagio de ubicación, ubicación, ubicación está definido por nuestra maravillosa casa. Es posible que encuentre algunas viviendas menos costosas, pero hay otro adagio de que obtiene lo que paga; y creemos que el precio de nuestro alquiler es una ganga por la experiencia encantadora que brinda y su ubicación superior, con un espacio de 1000 pies cuadrados dentro de la sala de estar y una hermosa área de jardín en el porche.

La avenida histórica Esplanade era la primera avenida construida fuera de la ciudad original, el Vieux Carre. Nuestro encantador y encantador alquiler de 1 dormitorio se encuentra junto a nuestra casa y está lleno de cómodos muebles y antigüedades; tiene aire central / calor; un piano; alfombras orientales; un gran porche con una vista; y está a solo 1. 25 millas a pie del Barrio Francés. El apartamento tiene una mini nevera, cafetera y microondas; y estamos directamente al lado de una excelente cafetería de servicio completo. Se puede acceder fácilmente al transporte a través de una parada de autobús en la esquina, alquiler de bicicletas azules en toda la ciudad en la esquina, andar en bicicleta en el carril bici de Avenue, tranvía en la entrada del parque, Taxi o Uber.

This was our 2nd time staying at this location. It is a wonderful area and we felt very safe. There are many things to do and great places to eat. Beautiful Historic Home in a great location

Historic neighborhood with several restaurants, bars and grocery. This property is conveniently located next to a coffee house with extended hours. After a long day of being a tourist, you can come "home" to a front porch to relax. The owner/host and this property are why we come back each year.

We just returned from a 3 night stay & it was just perfect! The neighborhood is charming with great personality. The apartment is neat & clean & the bed is super comfortable! Joe was nice, great communication & truly wanted us to have a great time. You will not be disappointed booking this gem of a place!!

Just what we needed

It is a beautiful place in a great, walkable neighborhood. We spent a week in NOLA seeing the sights and this was a great place to be based out of. Joe was a very responsive host and we had a relaxing time. The street parking was convenient. We would stay here again.

Historic charm of this rental keeps us coming back!

This beautiful historic property with New Orleans charm desired by tourist is perfectly located in an old style New Orleans comfortable neighborhood. We love sitting on the front porch to enjoy our morning coffee or other beverages in the in the evening after a fun filled day of doing tourist stuff.

Anniversary getaway.

Perfect for our visit to New Orleans. Close enough to all we wanted to do...but the location is in a quiet very quaint NOLA neighbor hood that could easily have been a destination in its own right..with everything that you could want. Accommodations left us wanting for nothing...a great stay!

Historic New Orleans Experience

This property is quiet, well maintained, and furnished beautifully. It's fully stocked with coffee, water, plenty of extra towels, and so much more. It's right next door to a coffee shop and a short drive to many local restaurants and breweries. Would recommend and would stay again.

Hope to be back!

The trip was for my 89-year-old mother who grew up on Esplanade Avenue and we moved her a few years ago to be with her children. I wanted her to get back to her roots and this home met all of our expectations. The Host was very accommodating, the house was just beautiful and very comfortable.

What a charming home!

This is a beautiful and charming older home in a lovely neighborhood filled with restaurants that can be easily walked to. Bike rentals and trollies are easily accessible for visiting sites that may be too far for you to walk. And everyone we met was very friendly.

Fantastic

Recently, my friend and I stayed at Esplanade Ridge in the lovely Victorian home. Not only were we thrilled about the neighborhood, but we were very happy about the accommodations. We were greeted in a timely way and the home was comfortable and very clean. As a musician, I loved the piano in the Parlor Room and the adorable dog on the premises made for a lovely stay in every way. Having a cafe directly next door was fabulous! The overall rating I would give is excellent!

I don't usually leave reviews, but Joe and Ann went out of their way to be kind and helpful during our stay in this beautiful home. It's a real New Orleans home, with tall ceilings and lovely light filtering in from the delightful Esplanade Avenue. The presence of CCs Coffee right next door, with all kinds of breakfast food, made having a kitchen unnecessary (a small fridge was helpful for leftovers). And Iko is the world's friendliest dog.

Tasteful and historic - a great stay

This property is so unique, and we had a quiet and restful stay here while in New Orleans. We were comfortable in this gorgeous neighborhood and relieved to find easy parking right outside the house. The owners, Joe and Ann, were helpful and nearby for any questions. Ann helped us with recommendations for live music one night that resulted watching a fantastic jazz show at Snug Harbor. The coffee shop, a stone's throw from the front door, is great. And there are a few restaurants right down the street that are better than average. As Albert M. said, everything is walkable from this location. Park the car and leave it!

Lovely Place

My husband and I visited NOLA for the first time, for the French Quarter Festival. We had a wonderful time and so enjoyed our choice of housing. The unit is very spacious and beautiful and very centrally located. We had a coffee shop on the same block and a grocery store and some really cute restaurants about 3 blocks away. We especially liked Cafe Degas. The bus stop is out front, although, it didn't seem to run with any kind of frequency, so we walked or took taxis. City Park is also very close by and we rented bicycles from there one day and rode all over the city. We look forward to returning to this fabulously fun city!

Halloween 2022 in Nola!

Joe was extremely organized and structured on his check in/check out processes, with the best communication. He immediately responded to anything needed and was close by, always. The apartment was pristine, even the lawn was so well manicured! This area is one I would love to live in if I were to move to Nola; very friendly neighborhood, with a number of tasty restaurants within walking distance...even a coffee house right next door! Parking for our rental was never an issue. If no vehicle, the quarter is a short Uber/Lyft or bus ride away. This would be THE SPOT for Jazz Fest. I would love to stay at Joe's again in the future and it felt like a home away from home. Thank you, Joe!!!

A nice place but needs a few new touchess

A nice place but a lot of traffic especially at night. It is 2.5 miles from the French Quarters. Wished they would've had information and a map of the French Quarters and neighborhood. That would've helped us alot. Owner very nice and accomodating on the phone. He was out of town the time we were there. Wished we rented a car to get around as we ended up calling a cab quite frequently. Ubers were never available and they were more expensive anyway. You don't want to walk at night. Overall it was good.

Loved it!!!

This place is even more gorgeous in real life! It was spotless and very comfortable. Both of the owners of the property were so hospitable and accommodating, my husband and I were very happy this was where we chose to stay. We had never booked through vrbo or any other site like it and if everyone takes as much pride in their rental as these owners do, I can't see us staying anywhere else. The owners were very helpful with recommendations on where to eat, what to see and how to get there. We enjoyed ourselves so much we even extended our visit! We've already told all of our friends and family about this place and highly recommend it. More importantly, this is a PRIME location! A mile and a half in one direction is the French Quarter, less than a mile in the other direction is City Park, there are restaurants easily within walking distance and a coffee shop literally right next door! Esplanade is a major street in this city and if you do have your own car, follow it down and there's a large parking lot available for a nominal fee right next to the French Market.
