We had a wonderful 3 night stay here on the lake. The house is cozy. Loved the fireplace and of course the view of the lake. Fall is a beautiful time in upstate New York. We picked the best weekend to enjoy it. We cooked and played games in the evening and we had everything we needed for our family birthday trip!!! Doug was an amazing host as well. He helped me and answered many questions and stopped by upon arrival to make sure we were all set!

Vacation Week at the Lakehouse

My husband, elderly father-in-law and I came to go fishing at Lake Oneida. My elderly father was to come too but he passed two months prior. The Lake House was immaculately cleaned and had everything we needed. We only had to bring our food, fishing gear and clothes. We loved the moose design dinnerware and moose/deer/forest theme throughout the house. Rustic look but modern kitchen and bathrooms. We had rain 6 out of the 6 days but the comfy couches and the propane fireplace made for an enjoyable place to read and relax. Thank you, Doug and Tamara, for providing us a beautiful place to vacation. We would definitely rent the Lake House again from you. Dorothy

Beautiful Lake House

House was beautiful and decorated so nicely. There was nothing you needed Doug provided everything but food 😂. Cant wait to go back!

Good family vacation spot

Property has a great view of the water. Enjoyed the games that were supplied and the firepit. Great kitchen and front family room supplied a wonderful view of the lake through the large windows. We appreciated the second refrigerator in the garage. Overall, a great visit.

We stayed here for our son's graduation from SU. It is an amazing house!!! It was extremely clean. The house had everything we would ever need and then some. Doug, the host, was kind enough to stop by and make sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations foe places to eat. We would definitely come back!

Water Front Onieda Lake

This charming and rustic waterfront property was just perfect for our 2 week stay. So much to do and peaceful when you wanted to relax and read. Close to to much but far enjoy away! The house is equipped with so much. Everything was perfect.

Peaceful and relaxing

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Every amenity is accounted for and more! The location is supreme - right on the lake. We relaxed by the firepit every night roasting smores, watched the sun set and enjoyed sitting on the dock drinking our coffee in the mornings. We went kayaking, played games and bbq'd. Sylvan Beach is just a few minutes drive up the road. We brought our gandkids and they had a wonderful time. Doug was a very attentive and friendly host. We would definitely come back.

Amazing Christmas reunion

I just can't say enough about this place .... everything and I mean EVERYTHING you need for your stay is already there !!!! The owner even brought us a delicious Christmas treat ... we will definitely return and make more memories

Couldn’t ask for more

We had an amazing and relaxing vacation in this spotless and well appointed lake house. Grocery stores and restaurants are a quick 10-15 mins away. Even on a rainy day the 8 of us were able to relax and enjoy the space without feeling like we were on top of one another. The lakefront has lots of shade and can still get sun if you want to. Really made me wish we had a boat — as there was space for one, and Oneida lake is huge! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Week at the Lake

Lovely lake house

This house was amazing! Everything a renter could possibly want/need. Peaceful setting. Kids had a ball swimming and kayaking. Unfortunately, no fish were caught, but that didn't diminish the fun we had. Highly recommend this house for a perfect summer getaway,

Summer Vacation

This property is fabulous! Great location, spotlessly clean and fully stocked for a very comfortable stay. The views of the lake are incredible! Doug made check-in a breeze and was there to answer any questions we had. We took a easy trip to Cooperstown on a rainy day. Sylvan Beach is always fun as well. We also tried Buckingham Market in Constantia if you're looking for something other than a chain grocery store - people were really nice!

Absolutely perfect setting and decor!!

As owner Doug promised, the house was “clean as a whistle.” We were attending graduations in Syracuse and I wished we stayed even longer than four nights! Lake was beautiful and the owners have everything you need for summer fun and relaxing. 5+++ stars.

Booked water front cabin for an ice fishing weekend. The cabin and the location did not disappoint!

The cabin is even better in person. Very clean, very organized, very spacious, and overlooks Oneida Lake. It was a perfect location for ice fishing departure. Doug, the owner, is super friendly and helpful. He kept the driveway snow free and pointed out some good ice fishing spots. I can not wait to come back! Thanks for a beautiful stay

Relaxing escape

This beautiful, well appointed cottage on Oneida was a pleasant escape from the hustle/bustle of everyday life. Although it is a fisherman’s haven, we enjoyed just RELAXING with wine, board games, nature hikes within a few minutes’ drive (and PINGPONG!!!). We also made use of the BEAUTIFUL kitchen, preparing farmstand goodies. The village of Sylvan Beach is a charming beach resort, a little quiet after Labor Day. But there are still a few great restaurants to visit. All in all, a fun vacation!

Perfection

Such a great experience! The host was very easy to contact with questions before our stay and made himself accessible during our stay if we needed him but we didn’t. Booked for next year already. The property was clean, loved the open floor plan and lots of lights and windows. Thank you for a great week!

Family vacation with little children

The house was beautiful and spotless. The owner Diug helped with anything we needed or asked him. Wonderful experience and going to Sylvan beach carnival at night was the highlight forthe little kids. The kayaks and campfires were amazing. Will definitely be back next year. Exceeded expectations!

Sometimes it's the little things! The furniture not only looks great but is comfortable. The towels were not only plentiful but thick and thirsty. There was not only a firepit but wood too! Not only was there one kayak there were 4! The kitchen is beautiful and came with a stocked cabinet of spices! Everything was perfect!
