Beautiful resort

The room was very nice and clean. View was spectacular. Iid give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Be prepared to fork out 50 a day for beach umbrella and chairs and 30 resort fee for access to the pool and beach

Great place to stay! Liked the fact we could walk, ride or paddle board to several spots along the Coast! Didn’t nee to get in the car the entire time we were there... We’l be back!!

Wonderful Beach view

Great for a girls trip. Games and books supplied for a rainy day. Pleanty of space to spread out. Gorgeous views of the beach and sunset. Exactly as advertised. Great location. Close to stores and activities. Was able to extend our stay an extra day. Host was easy to contact and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view

We had a wonderful stay, check in was a litttle rough, but otherwise everything was great, smaller place so parking was super easy, loved the ocean view, it could not be beat!! The balcony was set up perfectly!! Only concern wouldnbbe the throw rugs, can be fall risks, but thats a simple fix! We loved it and would definitely come again!!

Great location, condo could be cleaner

Only one washcloth in bathrooms for a 6 day stay; guest bath not very clean; rotten baseboard w/peeling paint under guest bath cabinet; very dirty air vent in tiny guest BR looked like mold and I got a respiratory infection while staying there so slept on soft after that.

Great location

The property is nice and the view is great. The only issue we had is that the place smelled like they cleaned it with stale sponges, and the floors were very dirty. But we just bought some cleaning supplies and cleaned the floors and counters ourselves. After that, it was fine.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was expecting a lobby to check in, but upon asking someone I found the unprofessional “broom closet” to get my parking pass and wrist bands. The room was fine for our use. I had to put the screen door back on the track, and then it worked fine. My wife was walking on the floor barefoot and her feet were dirty. Not sure if the floor was cleaned with clean water or dirty water. Loved the beach access, and view, Pool area was very nice as was the hot tub. Enjoyed our stay and will come back to Destin!

Spring Break

Right away we felt very comfortable in the condo. The view of the beach and gulf was wonderful. After several VERY foggy mornings, it was clear and we were able to watch the dolphins from the balcony. This was a highlight! The location was convenient. Everything we needed was within a short drive. We had some very good meals at the Crab Trap, Ruth Chris’, Bitterroot and Mimmo’s, all very close. We sat next to the pool one morning before it got warmer to go down to the beach. The white sand beach was beautiful. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, we made it onto the beach every day, even if for a walk only one day. We knew ahead that the beach service was not included. It would have been nice to know that we needed to register with the HOA office once we arrived to pay $10 each for our pool bands and to get our parking pass. That was a little confusing but was taken care of easily. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay in this condo again and at Sterling Sands.

Con mucho decepción escribo este comentario, no pude disfrutar de mis vacaciones con mi familia por que tuvimos un inconveniente y yo muy segura de que no había problema por que compré una protección para mi reservación, pero ooh sorpresa me robaron todo mi dinero por que mis excusas no eran suficiente para un reembolso, también traté de cambiar las fechas y tampoco se podía porque todo estaba reservado en las próximas fechas, pero bueno solo para que no caigan en las mismas mentiras de esta compañía, no reserves con xpedia, por experiencia se propia se los digo no sirve.

Great stay with the perfect view and location!

We enjoyed our stay here at Sterling Sands. We have stayed in this condo before just not this room and really enjoyed it. It's in a great location with easy access to all the restaurants and activities in Destin. The view in this room was perfect! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning watching the dolphins and boats come in. My only complaint about during our stay is that the master bathroom barely flushes at all. Which, I saw that in some of the reviews before and was hoping it would be fixed by the time we were there but it wasn't. Everything else was clean and worked great just not the master toilet. Prior to us arriving it was really difficult to get in touch with the company that rents out this condo. After booking on Vrbo I wanted to pay my remaining balance before it was due and I could never get in touch with anyone and it didn't give me the option on Vrbo to go ahead and pay. They did say they were going through some software changes but for a while it was very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. No one ever answered me through Vrbo chat or email I just had to keep calling. We didn't need any contact with them while we were staying so I can't say how it would be if you need help or have a question while you are there. The condo looks exactly like the pictures with two small rooms and bathrooms and the couch pulls out to a bed and overall it was a great stay!

The pool was nice and there was easy access to the beach. Only thing that was bothersome was the fact that the elevator was broke on several occasions and we had to walk all 9 flights of stairs to our room. They only have to elevators and both of them did not work at the same time.
